3) I know what an airplane contrail looks like at sunset. I know what a missile smoke trail looks like at sunset. I know that when you see something at a high altitude at the horizon it looks bigger, like the Moon when it is rising... and yes the camera shows that as well. I know the difference between a missile going up and an airplane appearing to go up as it is coming towards the viewer
This is proof? of what? that you know?

Get serious.

4) Save for that brief flash as the plane caught some sunlight briefly
As I has asked before, and will ask again so that it can be ignored again...

Can't a missile reflect sunlight, or is it just airplanes that do that?

Possibly.

But you make a good point. People claim the flash is the rocket blast. No reason to think that. It bears no resemblance.

where is the BRIGHT missile flame that burns constantly in any missile launch?
As for this little jewel, I posted a link to a video of a space shuttle launch. After a little over a minute, you could not see the 'bright missile flame'.

Those SRB's on the space shuttles (2 of them!) are one heck of a lot bigger than your SLBM's. The space shuttle video was filmed at 6 miles distance, compared to the estimated 35 miles for the anomaly .

Where did that quote come from?

I clicked the link back to my post and I don't see it there?

Doesn't matter which flight... that is why the FAA didn't jump on the gun and say which one, because there was a margin of error and people jump on that error and ignore the real evidence.

So true, and ATS members were calling the FAA stupid and saying they should hire some members from ATS..
How wrong they were

The FAA did well to not name the source without enough evidence...

But in an effort to avoid accidentally starting WWIII, the major powers capable of launching ICBMs like to make public notices about missile launches in advance.
Yes, I stated this very fact early in the thread.
But to say that accidental launches can not occur would be foolish.

Ah yes... happens all the time
Those ICBM's are just so shoddy we keep losing track of them, hitting the button by accident and launching unknown missiles. Judging by the number in the news in recent years its a BIG problem..

So tell me why no one is concerned about THAT, but is more concerned at which flight number it was

Are you saying that they can not occur?

If one did, do you think that the Defense Dept. would give everyone a ring to let them know how inept they are?

Just asking.

BTW, There really shouldn't be any nuclear reactors sitting on the ocean floor either. There are still a few sitting there anyway, courtesy of the US and Russian/Soviet military. Now a better question is what do we know about any of it?? We know what they tell us. Which may not be true anyway.

Edit to add: Those damn shoddy nuclear submarines sinking and not coming back up.

Easy.

Because the aircraft flight info is published and easy for anyone to get. Easy enough that you can get it.

Military info, that's different, eh? Can you tell me if there was a sub loitering there? From what nation?
Can you tell me which boomers are in port right now?
That should be easy, right?

Yes I will bet some pennies on the sunlight because the film was aired almost live from the chopper so no time to take it to the studio, run it trough photoshop (can photoshop edit videos now
)

Surely there are better conspiracies here to worry about, nyet?

But that works both ways...

The 'planers' say GOBERMENT says "no big deal it's a plane"

The 'no planers' say GOBERMENT (ex Generals military 'experts' etc) say it was a missile

Well it was really an Alien space craft taking off from the under sea base off the shore LA where tunnels the exit that connect to Lake Hawthorne, Nevada where we have a secret submarine base that actually has a sign on the gate

Now THAT I have evidence for
