We're all familiar with the phrase "the man in the moon," the idea that the full moon looks like a human face. But what about this far-out notion: Could there be aliens on the moon watching humankind from a relatively close distance?That's a meaty question that brings out emotional responses from anyone you ask.

Well, another great day for ATS. Getting the word out. Please check out the link. My jaw hit the floor when I saw Mike's ATS video.

Now, I think this article (just out a little bit ago) will do a lot. AOL news gets out there. The more the merrier, in my opinion.

Good work. Now, lets talk about those 8 pics in the article. Experts? Explained before? New? Thoughts?

Looks pretty dam convincing to me.

That smoking gun image in the video reminds me of the Cristo Redentor statue.

I've always believed there are ruins up there and I also believe humans built them. That means we have to ask serious questions about our past and history would have to be rewritten. I believe humans have been around MUCH longer than the ancient Sumerians and I think time has wiped away all evidence our past technologies. In regards to the moon ruins, I also believe believe there is an alien connection. What would happen if a series a great catastrophes wiped out most human life today and even evidence of our modern day civilization? If a few tribes in the Amazon jungles survived, it would be like man kind starting all over again. Then in about another 10,000 years man would reach our level of technology today and eventually go to the moon again only to discover our American flag and rovers from the 1969 landing. They'll wonder how the heck did that stuff get up there and probably keep that information from the population. Because the moon doesn't go through changes like on earth and there is no oxygen on the surface, things can be up there in near perfect condition for millions of years.

The moon has always fascinated me,from the first moon missions I would stare at the moon with my fathers binoculars and pretend I could the astronauts walking around.It really angers me that the information on what really up there is being withheld from us.I'm sorry I cannot add any expertise on the photos,as I don't have a clue to what I'm looking at.but it will be exciting to see what other members reactions are.As for what I think,I believe there are structures up there,and we have been on the moon more times than what we have been told.

Mike's video was very cool and the pictures in the article were GREAT!...i hadn't seen many of them before, including the Castle, which was very interesting indeed.

The idea of Glass Domes on the moon would surely make sense in an Ancient Human setting. After all, we can't breathe up there.

Sorry....grainy, low resolution to begin with, then overly zoomed and pixelated, with artfully "enhanced" colonizations to point out random "patterns" that occur all the time in Nature?? In any number of geologic (in this case, "selenogic") formations. Results of over 4 billion years of no erosion, other than extensive bombardment from space (meteors, other space-borne detritus) and a vary long ago, past history of short-lived volcanic activity?

Not conclusive of anything, except over-active imaginations, and desperately "wanting" to "see" something.

Not much different than seeing the "virgin mary" in tree bark. Or on a piece of toast.

The ONLY anomaly that seems even the least bit interesting is the "parallel tracks" image...which has been explained somewhere (will hunt it down). **Oh dear, oh dear!!! Seems when mikesingh left here in a huff, he took his toys (and avatar) with him over to David Icke's playpen!!! :shk:

Sorry, but contributing to David Icke seems to shred to tatters any credibility that may have been attained, here on ATS. David Icke is a serial pest in the world, especially in the serious investigation of possible ET-related UFO topics. Little coincidence his last post on ATS, and member join date at David Icke's forum are the same??

Hate to break it to you this way, OP. I see this as "Highly Speculative" type material perhaps, but it doesn't seem to rise to the level of serious "Aliens and UFOs" standards, IMO.

Edit-Forgot to add, anytime the name "Richard C. Hoagland" is brought up, on these topics, makes any person serious about actual facts, and possiblities, just //facepalm// in disgust and dismay. The man is certainly not one to believe, in any way, shape or form. He is an attention-grabbing huckster. Who has the "gift of gab" (and in print) to prey on some people's inherent gulliblity. Not just my opinion. He goes WAY back, too. (Once bitten, twice shy, with these sorts of charlatans).

I've considered Hoagland to be a fringe pseudoscientist, not really worth debunking. Sometimes, claims are so silly that they aren't worth bothering. But things have changed recently. Hoagland has been given lots of airtime on the late-night "Coast to Coast AMradio show, which has millions of listeners. His most recent antics involve the new Mars missions. He is claiming that, among other things, NASA is covering up evidence of alien life on Mars. Now, I have been on the C2C show several times myself (once to actually debunk one of Hoagland's ridiculous claims), and I am of the opinion that most of the audience listens to the usual crackpots on the program with their tongues firmly planted in their cheeks. But with so many listeners, it's inevitable that many will take Hoagland seriously.

I know that type of stuff would be posted about his video-seen it before. I just mentioned it as it is in the article. I concur with your assesment.

Now the photos. That is what caught my eye and wanted to bring to ATS for review, assesment and discussion. I found it odd that these photos in the aritcle haven't been seen around here (not that I had seen rather).

That's all.

I did look up mikes and saw he appeared to have vacated the premisses. Interesting. Remember what was the topic/cause then? (just curious).

Keep in mind glass is also much stronger in the vacuums of space than on earth so it wouldn't surprise me to see structures of glass. There seems to be evidence that there was an ancient mining operation going on the moon. Maybe it was for helium 3.

It maybe me, I admit. It just not sound right.

here is a start to explain why glass is stronger on the moon.

"There is a reduced amount of gravity on the moon compared with that here on the Earth.
Pressure is a function of Density and Gravity, so if a material can withstand a certain amount of pressure here on earth, it would be able to withstand approximately 6 times that pressure on the surface of the Moon because only one sixth of the gravity is acting down on it."

What convinced me IS that usualy, the guys hired by CIA, FBI, WHOever?, worked only
for a few months, because their "talents" where not THAT good.

Ingo, on the contrary WAS SO GOOD, that he worked for them a good
13 or 17 years ! ! !? ( I don't remember exactly ).

In his remote vewings, he described what Venus looked like.
A few years later, a satellite CONFIRMED EXACTLY what he DID SAY
IN THE PAST.

So if INGO did see life on the hidden side of the moon, coming from him,
to me it is **enough** to "know" there is, and it is logical, for advanced civilizations,
to use the other side of the moon, as an "intermediary station" to watch us.

MikeSingh may not be on ATS any more but he is on a couple of other forums I'm on, not Hoagland's or Icke's I hasten to point out. Some of his finds are a bit hit and miss, but he has definitely found some anomalies anybody would find very difficult to debunk. Unfortunately his 'smoking gun' image in this video isn't one of them :- I've seen other renderings of it and there is actually nothing there, it's just shadows. However the most obviously debunk-prone image of the lot, that thing which looks like the blade off some huge digging machine, is for real. It was in the Clementine Lunar Image Browser 1.5, the NASA compilation of the Clementine orbiter's images taken in 1994. It was at Lat, -35. Long. 208, and was there for all to see until early this year when NASA 'retired' CLIB without explanation. Think you can all guess why. Hard to believe? Damn right it is , but there it was, and it's not the only obvious artefact NASA have inadvertently published images of.
He's also found some sort of buildings complex on top of a ridge on Mars and recently a silver UFO looking thing of about 30 feet long (HiRise resolution really is that good). The NASA browser gives pixel references and I tracked both of them down, as did other people, and they really are there in very good detail and colour - not shadows or tricks of the light.
So how did they all get there? My personal pennysworth is that there were previous advanced civilizations on Earth, and global cataclysms have obliterated both them and all evidence of them - except for their activity on the Moon.As for Mars, well that's anybody's guess, but maybe that was us too.

You are an easily-fooled, gullible believer 'cause you use Mike Singh and Richard Hoaxland as references. They don't show didley squat! They uses overpixelated, blurry, out-of-focus, highlighted photos that do not show anything but natural features highlighted with color to make you think there's something there. But as has been the case, here on ATS with thousands of similar threads, no one has yet shown anything unnatural on the moon. It's all wishful thinking. The worse threader was Lear.

I totally agree with you, and your example is dead on. We as a people think that history started 6 thousands years ago and that everything else is not relevant. I've always believed that our planet had an advanced civilization tens of thousands of years ago. Look at the pyramids and Puma Punku and even Baalbeck and the massive cut stones (2,000 tons). We keep saying that it was cut and moved via stone tools and rope to move it. When I see the place and places it reminds me that something cataclysmic (flood from the last ice age maybe) happened on the planet and knocked things down and around the area. This civilization could have made it to the moon. We always wonder how in gods name they where able to move these massive stones so quickly and easily, what if it's simple. The simple being that anti-gravity levitation or sonic levitation. If they had this ability it wouldn't be a hard stretch to get to the moon. Some even said that Baalbeck may have been a spaceport (reason for the massive stones).

I ask everyone here, what would be left after 150,000 years on this planet. Most of our structures we have made are designed not to last a long time and/or have to be up keeped all the time. Our skyscrapers would have fallen into the ground less than 10,000 years from now and much of our concrete would have crumbled down and our asphalt would have turned into rocks/ground. Give enough time much of a civilization would be underground and/or underwater. And whats left would be poking on the surface and people wondering what it is.

The thought of the Moon having ancient ruins like Machu Picchu made me sick to my stomach watching that video and picturing grey aliens weird moon guys it just made me sick, that it would be covered up... If there are structures on the Moon that aliens built. Can you imagine if there are just massive cities? How much different would your perspective of life be if you were born on the moon? I just picture alien art to be so fascinating and amazing.

But at the same time I don't see any evidence. If humanoids could evolve on the Moon, how would they create technology?

Also would that mean, Aliens from another planet, moon, or Star System came to the moon and built cities?

Or Ancient humans on Earth had a way to make it to the moon? Is there any evidence of this?

The whole moon thing is kind of debunked by astronomers all over the world, unless you're telling me there is something special about the photos in that youtube video?
