Oh, yeah. I saw that one about the wing too, and in fact, that same anomaly appears in another video, but in that one, the plane arrives in fram appearing to never had its right wing, much less disappear. I've worked in photog and video for over 20 years, and have seen this type of "trick" before, where something somewhat reflective seems to blend into the background at a given point. See, that jet comes from under the shadow of the smoke from the first attack, just before hitting the building. When the sunlight hits it, you got that "disappearing" wing effect.

Next time you watch a jet fly over, realize how white it appears against the blue sky. Yes, there are many many people here who act as disinfo.

To be honest, out here in the real world, if someone brings up UFOs, MJ-12, or whatever, I pretend I've never heard of mj-12, or that I don't believe in UFOs. I honestly don't know why, other than I just odn't trust people enough to actually discuss these topics "out here".

I think I'd actually faint if anyone ever mentioned UFOs, chemtrails or any conspiracy to me. I quit bringing up the subjects years ago. If you want to get rid of someone you met, just mention any ATS topic. They look at you like you're a nut case. I used to have friends, not anymore. It's hard to find anyone to talk to with these same interests. If someone mentioned UFOs to me, I'd jump at the chance, unless they're taking the other point of view which is usually the case. As for trusting people, I do know what you mean though. I live in Colorado Springs. Try talking to anyone here about 911...it's all military. No one can say anything they really think when it comes to their Commander in Chief. It's called freedom of speech. I'll never forget one day at the store deli counter a military guy was actually talking down on Obama. I couldn't believe what I was hearing. Never happens. Yeah, one has to be careful anymore about what they say. I'm about one mile from Homeland Security. And all the others are within five miles or so. If there's ever a lock down, I'm stuck with all these sleepers. Take care. Puzzle

disinfo? no misinfo? perhaps, although it would be cool to met an alien or be its test subject, it is very (very) highly unlikely, that we will ever live to see such events.

The reason the threads are debunked, because there are two types of people, 1) one intellgence with reasoning, the 2) other stupid and believeing everything they hear, guess who makes the most threads? the second type. lol

So obviously type 1's have to correct the type 2's or else, they get carried away with thier nonsence, eventaully others start to believe it, and no matter what you do or say, they never believe anything that suggests otherwise.

It is much like reilgion, much of it is based on faith, that aliens find us interseting (which they dont) we are ants on a sidewalk, nobody cares much about it, maybe a glance or two, then move on.

Face the fact we are too primtive and very "special" (not in the good way)

Those types of events are easy to dismiss as they lack the main elements that make up a good case. You're going after what amounts to *poop* to put it bluntly.

And you went exactly where I expected you to go, rationalizing to continue your appeal-to-silence (but, bravo on continuing on it unabated, you know exactly what you're doing). No matter what threads I participate in, it won't be the right threads for you. It is easier to attack skeptics than to have an actual discussion. Cripmeister had your number on this.

But then again, that is what this whole thread is premised on, so you have yourself in good company.

I must agree with you that it is very likely that ATS has many professional dis-info agents that spend their workday attemping to "squash"alternative thought.
Many of these dis-info agents post under several "handles" which makes it appear that the opinion that they are proposing is wide spread. DON'T be FOOLED by this TACTIC.

The easiest way to spot the professional dis-info agent is they are the ones that will post over and over again all day long, and never add anything new to the discussion. Normal ATS member will give their input on the subject and then post no more , because they actually have a life and have other intrest that require their attention. No normal person would spend hour upon hour saying the same old thing on the internet. We just must accept this fact as being part of the internet and IGNORE these drones of TPTB.

So, name names. Tell us who we should ignore. Tell us who has multiple handles; sock-puppets are against the T&C;

And how many posts is too many? How passionate is too passionate?

And you countered exactly the way I though you would; with more arrogance and witty comments just as you always do with everyone else on this board. Round and round we go Rexy

It is easier to attack skeptics than to have an actual discussion.

Like I said, it would be great to have a logical discussion with you if you actually took time from debunking the usual tripe that you do and focused on some real topics. Again, you are a no show.

To add, I was wondering the reason why you come across so arrogant and angry? Is it because you feel yourself to be better than the average "joe" on this forum? Do you get a kick out of leaving snide remarks and egotistical wit when there's no need for it?

disinfo is just like all the other schmucks who were smart enough to see a good money making scheme right before their eyes! Just like Project camelot (whom btw, can afford to go to egypt but cant afford to keep the website running without more donations for a mediocre website that could be run on simple HTML code.....just like Benjamin Fulford, just like every other sap who profits off of their misleading delusional self proclaimed prophecies while profiting off of those to unfortunate to wake up and realize whats really going on!

According to the site itself, ATS is "the Internet's largest and most popular discussion board community dedicated to the intelligent exchange of ideas and debate on a wide range of "alternative topics". The simple yet effective motto of our membership is 'deny ignorance'".

It was my impression that ATS members make an effort to look beyond the establishment mantras and main stream media headlines. I have found quite the opposite here. It seems as though many users are here with the specific intention of promoting the establishment's agendas.

Debunking is the opposite of that. It's applying rational thought to avoid disinfo infiltrating the site.

I would disagree with your definition of "debunking", at-least, as its generally used.

Its defined as:

"to expose or excoriate (a claim, assertion, sentiment, etc.) as being pretentious, false, or exaggerated"

dictionary.reference.com...

I would argue that the term "debunking" is most frequently used with regards to the 9/11 Truth Movement. Your definition implies that the "debunker" is using rational thought but those advancing the theory are not. Couldn't disagree more.

What I love about this site is the skeptics. Although sometimes they can be a little too skeptical, it is the only safeguard against real dis info and hoax's. I believe in aliens, I believe they are here but I do not believe every story that passes my attention. You need to sift through the bull crap and get to the good stuff.

Remember that faithful believers, in any form, are the most easy to manipulate and control. The only way to seek the truth is to question everything.

The Conspiracy Theorist Manifesto

Edited from the Hackers Manifesto by Krillsangelwings

Another one got caught today, it's all over the papers. "Home grown Terrorist arrested with large amounts of anti goverment materials ", "Activist arrested for refusing to stay in free speech zone."...

Damn tin foil hatters. They're all alike.

But did you, in your three-piece psychology and 1950's blind patriotisim, ever take a look behind the eyes of the Conspiracy Theorist? Did you ever wonder what made him tick, What forces shaped him, What may have molded him?

I am a Conspiracy Theorist, Enter my world...

Mine is a world that begins with school... I'm smarter than most of the other kids, This crap they teach us bores me...

Damn underachiever. They're all alike.

I'm in high school or college. I've listened to teachers explain for the fifteenth time how the revolutionary war was started over a tea tax. I understand it. "No, Ms. Smith, it acthualy started over the crown taking away our abbility to use colonial monetary scripts..."

Damn hatter. Probably copied it. They're all alike.

I made a discovery today. I found a book called "The Creature from Jeckyl Island". Wait a second, This is cool. It explains the truth about the bankers and the way they control us. It makes sense, It's backed up by proof and historical documents. Not because it doesn't follow a political partys ideoligy... Or feels it can make the writter wealthy.. But just because its the truth that doesn't get taught to people and instead is covered up and riddiculed...

Damn conspiracy nut. All he does is read. They're all alike.

And then it happened... a door opened to a world... rushing through the phone line like heroin through an addict's veins, An electronic pulse is sent out, A refuge from the day-to-day incompetencies is sought... A board is found. "This is it... This is where I belong..." I know everyone here... Even if I've never met them, Never talked to them, May never hear from them again... I know you all...

Damn conspiracy nut. Tying up the phone line again. They're all alike...

You bet your ass we're all alike... We've been spoon-fed baby food at school when we hungered for steak... The bits of meat that you did let slip through were pre-chewed and tasteless. We've been dominated by sadists, Or ignored by the apathetic. The few that had something to teach found us willing pupils, But those few are like drops of water in the desert.

This is our world now... The world of the true history and allternative thoughts , The beauty of research and the power of truth. We make connections and discover evidence of a world much larger and more amazing then the average person knows. A world they would know if it wasn't run by profiteering gluttons, And you call us criminals? We explore... And you call us criminals? We seek after knowledge... And you call us criminals? We exist without skin color, Without nationality, Without religious bias... And you call us criminals? You build atomic bombs, You wage wars, You murder, Cheat, You cover up the truth and lie to us and try to make us believe it's for our own good, Yet we're the criminals?

Yes, I am a criminal. My crime is that of curiosity. My crime is that of judging people by what they say and think, Not what they look like. My crime is that of outsmarting you, Something that you will never forgive me for.

I am a Conspiracy theorist, And this is my manifesto. You may stop this individual, but you can't stop us all... After all, We're all alike.

I welcome good debunking. I also believe that most sightings can be explained.

What bothers me in many of them is:

- Know-it-all, assinine attitude
- Lack of respect for people's beliefs
- How they ignore important facts, pick what suits their theories and push their own version of events
- How poor image quality is not evidence and good quality is CGI
- How they only join discussion to debunk, when topics with evidences so strong are created they simply are nowhere to be seen.
-How they will never even allow the possibility of something alien.

Those people are only here to derail our investigations.

Hey TheOracle, the door swings both ways. For example allow me to emulate your post with a different bias please.

I welcome good evidence based claims. I also believe that almost all sightings can be explained.

What bothers me is the lack of them. Also:

- Know-it-all, assinine attitude
- Lack of respect for people requiring evidence
- How they ignore important facts, pick what suits their theories and push their own version of events
- Poor quality images and good quality CGI
- How they only join discussion to try to prove ET's are visiting, when topics with evidence suggests otherwise they claim shill or disinfo agent.
-How they will never even allow the possibility of something explainable.

Those people are only here to derail our investigations.

I think from either position basic communication is a positive thing which we'd each welcome.

I don't think those who come here and debunk often really want to debunk. I think they'd love to find a story which was absolute proof of visiting ET or advanced technology. If any such story does exist it must be very rare and being able to see it explained proving the ET hypothesis would be the highlight to a lot of people's lives.

My favourite time here was the Norway Spiral. A genuine weird phenomena occurred, lots of photos existed and lots of really good ideas about what it could be came forward - from those who generally debunk.

It's from this what we got the answer before the MSM posted what occurred.

The wealth of resources here, when required, make this an excellent venue for genuine investigation.

I do agree that people with bad attitudes,on each side of the belief fence, spoil it for others. But sadly they do exist on each side and that doesn't make either side attractive to new members.

Starred cos I like your post a lot.

I have to say that im sure many agents or people with personal agendas do come and post on here. I cant how the percentage, but by reading some popular topics, you can see the rabid specialized agents jumping on there assigned topics, trowing out the big no nos, like ( anti semite, holocaust, nazy, fascist, uneducated, liberal, radical, socialist, rebelious, quack, nut job). But i still think we are more numerous, in behing curious, and wanting to know more, to read between the lines.

Just my 2 cents

Oh and they can only have real power, if we really let them

A few months ago, i would have said No, ATS is not an organized disinfo site, though lately i'm starting to think that it has become one.

Whether or not this is due to the obvious and blatant flooding of PTB 'agents', as they freely admitted they fully intended to do by infiltrating 'conspiracy websites' and placing posters that will confuse and disrupt debate and the flow of information.

This IS NOT conspiracy theory, it's conspiracy FACT...it has been admitted by the top echelons in government several times in the last 6 months or so. Search for yourselves, there is plenty of information on this site to confirm these comments from government circles.

I have noticed that just prior to and since the new site design, ATS hierarchy has become hypocritical, almost tyrannical in it's policy towards effectively gagging everyday members.

I can understand bad language filters and things of that nature, but it's gotten out of hand when you cannot tell another member that you disbelieve what he or she is telling us without having your post hacked to bits, or removed entirely, while they can directly post and tell the rest of us that we ARE mentally deficient for not thinking as they instruct us to!

Is this freedom of speech? No, it is not. This goes way beyond ordinary civility and manners, this is active and selective censorship, with a very unhealthy bias attached tilted firmly in TPTB favour.

It's hypocritical at the very least.

I say hypocritical, because 'ordinary' members like myself, will for example make a comment to the effect that in my opinion, a poster is telling lies...i will get either my post removed, or warned (TWICE in the last week, note; I have had NO prior warning at all for over two YEARS!), fined points, and have the post removed.

Conversely, using the example above, the person i called a liar (an 'establishment favorite' of the ATS ownership people by the looks of it) was freely calling anyone who saw UFO's captured in official NASA videos 'real crazies'...and for his sweepingly offensive and insulting statements, he get's...stars.

He gets NO censorship by moderators or other staff getting on their patronizing high horses, but is just blithely allowed to insult every member who doesn't agree with his OBVIOUS lies and disinformation regarding what is and what isn't shown on these NASA videos. (which, as if by magic he is almost the first to post a reply on any thread that is posted that references NASA videos)

So, how does that work on an impartial ATS?

It doesn't.

The average ATS member, is now censored and 'ruled' by ATS staff almost to the point of being gagged, while 'friends' or other 'favored members' are left to insult who they wish with impunity.

Now, whether or not the actual site ownership or a number of moderators have been compromised is open for debate, but i feel it has probably been put to them, in no uncertain terms, that their advertisers (who pay the owners), *may* (will) go elsewhere, with a little help from the government of course. And like most capitalists, the owners would probably swap principles for dollars.

This is increasingly looking to be the case around here, especially in the 'sensitive' areas such as 9/11 and UFO/ET forums.

I've had enough of it and will now move along. I refuse to be censored by hypocrites who think nothing of pulling me up for a *judgment* (i think, in my opinion, i feel that, etc.) against a member that i instinctively know is working against us here, while the member can make sweeping *statements* (not judgments) such as UFO believers 'are real crazies' with absolutely ZERO comeback.

There's the hypocrisy for any mods wondering why i'm pissed off about this.

I've had good times here over the last couple of years, but this site is finished as an unbiased entity.

Anyone know how i delete my account, if that's even possible?

Can anyone reading this suggest another website similar to how ATS used to be, a year or so ago, before it became infiltrated with goons and patronising, hypocritical staff. (not all of them, i have to say...but there's enough that are)

My last word on the subject would be this; Be careful what you write on this site, and be mindful that if the owners and other minions have been compromised by TPTB, everything and anything you write that could be construed as being against their masters, will be passed right along for the 'special' attention of those pulling the strings.

Take care, and definitely don't be under any illusions that this is an impartial, and *free* thinkers website any longer, because it is not..unless your thoughts happen to coincide with those of the owners or their lackeys.

Good luck all, and keep watching the skies. Someday, these arsewipe disinfo agents will be exposed for who and what they are...i only hope the damage they manage to cause to humanity between now and then, (yes, it's that serious) will be reversible.

Not long ago, some new neighbors moved in next door. They had a friend visiting them, and I was working on my old car. So this guy comes up and starts talking to me about alternative fuel sources, pulse detonation engines, ever they're even still called that, and how nine eleven was an inside job. Of course, I wasn't rude or anything, I just stood there looking at him like he was a nut. Clearly he knew tons of stuff, and was obviously interested in the same topics.

If I have already shared this story, I'm sorry, at any rate, I just pretended I didn't know what he was talking about.

We've all heard of people complaining about the government then getting interviewed by FBI or relevant agency. Luckily, you've come across ATS, and for the time being, are able to discuss these issues here.

I Wouldnt go as far to say Disinfo,

What I believe, having been lurking here for a good year before I registered is that some "Debunkers" have been made into minor "celebrities" and regardless of how awake you think you are, "everybody wants to be a celebrity!!"

We've all seen it, "oh I cant wait until [insert name here] debunks this" or something to that effect, alot of this "Reflex Debunking" I believe comes from that. Everybody want to be the guy that can come and know the answer at the click of a finger.

On the other hand there is nothing more annoying the seeing "PROOF" only to see an image that is obvsiouly a bird or a base on mars that is nothing more than distortion and this "debunking to gain celebrity" may actually prevent alot of the more obvious garbage from floating to the surface.

Anyway, thats my toughts on the matter,

Cheers,

I'm still struggling to see the whole disinfo thing.

As far as i can see, as long as you post within the T & C's, which basicaly break down to you being courteous, respectfull to others, polite, no trolling, and no repeated threads except the couple of rules where this is allowed etc etc....threads do not get deleted for nefarious reasons.

Its usualy the ones that break T & C's that shout disinfo first. Fair enough, lashing out is a common human response, but IMO thats usualy what this is...people lashing out.

I mean come on, take a look at some of the threads we have on our forums, if this really was a disinfo site do you think half of the content would still be here?
