Well said.

You've virtually mirrored my sentiments here.

The whole thread? Really? I think that "user" tried really hard to be civil up until he was insulted multiple times. I admit he was childish after that.

Sorry, but I disagree. You have been childish. Get over it! I agree with your stance, but just like the other NYC thread there were childish posts there too (not you) that made it un-bearable.

This thing has been solved either way. You helped. Kudos! Now, let's hope others can see it the same way. ATS should not be seen in the same light as these recent threads on UFO's has given it. It's pure nonsense.

Wow..I'm getting to the point almost where I can feel the *pain* some skeptics feel on this site everyday..

Let me point out, that I am a *real* believer of alien abductions, and I do believe we have been "visited". I have, on countlesss occasions defended "believers" because of some members around here that tend to hassle and insult members who assert this position.

My post here, is not to defend the tone of certain "skeptics" (you know who you are), but I'm finding, that from this thread and others recently, that the "believer" crowd is getting just as rediculous in their un-relenting desire to out the other position. When do facts, just become facts?? Why can't we realize what is *really* happening on a particular instance and just MOVE ON. This case has been solved.

We have exibit A, B, and C for starters. 3 videos that clearly show skydiving techniques which make the "skeptic" scenario plausible.

THEN, we have the news station (of which reported origionally) ADMITTING that these are skydivers were practicing for the event to happen on the 16th.

EL PASO, Texas -- ABC-7 received several calls into the newsroom Friday night after strange lights appeared over El Paso's skies.

Was it a meteor? No. Just the Amigo Airsho. Airsho officials said the lights were from a practice run for an exhibition called "The Flight of the Golden Knights."

www.kvia.com...

THEN, we have a user (who I personally think has been childish through the whole thread, however DID do this one thing to help the case...) CALL the "airsho" and ASK if the Golden knight operation was done at night and CONFIRMED it.

www.abovetopsecret.com...

Now... If anyone has any real SOLID evidence to dispute this....then TRY, but your efforts in listing the non-relevant will get us nowhere!! No-one has yet, and no-one WILL in the future IMO come up with SOLID proof of aliens here!! We (as in, seriously overly obsessed, I hate to say "believers*) are wasting our time here!!! Common, people, lets move on!! What else are you asking for??? I don't think you are going to get whatever_that_is.. ever.

Stop making truly interested people on this subject look bad.

edit on 17-10-2010 by Wookiep because: punctuation and clarity

THANK YOU! Like I've said many times before I personally am not a believer (i think aliens exist somewhere, I don't really believe we have proof they visit earth) but, I don't try to debunk really. If I see something I don't think I can explain I usually don't try. However lately I've taken the role of debunker often because the stuff I've been seeing is ridiculous. I don't see why people continue to deny what they are seeing has a legit explanation when it is put in front of them. This is pretty much case closed (after seeing this I also think this might have something to do with the brazil video up a couple weeks ago) time to move on.

I hate news reporters with a passion when it comes to covering anything to do with UFO's. They have really perfected the art of talking absolute BS.

But in all seriousness, this is very good footage indeed...I cant wait to see what is to come in the coming weeks, very interesting times we live in.

I am curious to know.

How about you being the bigger man and letting it go?

Seriously, there has been nothing but squabbling between yourself and One10 for pages upon pages and have gotten us no where.

How about cutting the crap and act like adults?

Aight??

Ok, I think all further posts between you and this user should be blocked. I'm sick of hearing it and I'll make a large wager that so is everyone else. Take your personal arguments elsewhere. This thread would be hella shorter if we didn't have to read this nonsense.

I just don't see how predictions intended to sell books, balloons, fireworks/skydivers,re-tweets, and tv shows constitute interesting times in regards to UFO's. The times to me are the same, sporadic sightings. All this disclosure nonsense has gotten everyone whipped up into this state where they believe every video they see is something special. I just don't see it. It would make life more interesting, but I don't see any thing has changed.
