What does me being annoyed to the point of having a bad attitude have anything to do with this? My first posts were completely civil. After being called a disinfo agent, writing well thought out posts only to be replied to with one liners, my points being ignored, and words manipulated to mean something I didn't say, and me having to repeat myself over and over, there comes a time where you get a bad attitude. Forgive me for being annoyed by the annoying actions of others.

I did indeed read most of the thread. The golden knights explanation fits for the most part, but I still don't know why they would be practicing at night for an event that occurs during the day. I did see one member state that it is not uncommon for them to put in a special show the night before an event for invited guests. But anyway, regarding the lights "moving in a strange pattern" here is a video also of the golden knights that may help explain that part:

This is one day after the siting in New York. At a S x SW wind speed of 30 knots the balloons from New York could clearly make their way to El Paso.

Rich has posted a photo of two different balloon launches in New York. Since these lights behaved similar to the NY phenomena then clearly the source is the same - balloons.

What happens after they traveled from Ny at a high altitude is the warm air cools so they begin to descend. The higher air being cold causes a mass of condensation similar to a comet. The trails from this condensation mimic meteor friction and the atmosphere. Once the air pressure increases again the balloons become bouyant. Some of the photos you can see the yellow and silver balloons

As far as formations if you put monkeys in a room with typewriters they will type the works of shakespear so too is the wind and balloons. Film long enough and any set of three balloons will form a triangle.

Now these balloons have been aloft for days so the likelihood they will form the triangle is greater.

Didnt you see the photos of the balloon releases in NY? You mustve missed them b/c then you would realize it would clearly be the balloons. Maybe I will repost the pic of the balloons so you can see that they are round just like the objects in the video. Round balloons round dots. Same formation in NY same formation in El Paso.

That sounds familiar...

How do you know that they were not practicing all day and when the sun set they just kept practicing into the night?

They do preform night shows, so how do you know they were not just practicing for another show too?

There are many "counter questions/points" to explain why they were practicing at night.

I grew up in El Paso and used to attend The Amigo Airsho regularly. The Golden Knights are always there. I also worked for a beer distributor in EP and worked the Airsho for several years. I don't know if they do it every year, but I know that they sometimes have events on Friday night even though the actual show is only advertised and open to the public for Saturday and Sunday. Friday night is usually a night to have a party for the volunteers, the performers, local big-wigs, etc.. The year I worked Friday night they had the jet powered truck "Shockwave" that looked very impressive at night and a balloon glow with lots of hot air balloons. I'm 99% sure that the Golden Knights jumped that night also, but I was inside working at that time and can't swear to it.

I would bet that it is the Golden Knights jumping and that the 4th Golden Knight's ankle flare malfunctioned. The biggest question here is why the local news station couldn't figure this out on their own instead of freaking the whole city (and countless others via the internet) out. Lazy journalism if you ask me.

No one doubts that they parachute there. Watch the video at the beginning of the thread, the video here at the end from your memory describe whether you think the first vid is the Golden knights show.

And also please consider whether you think the balloons from NY traveled to El Paso for Cabrito.

(Most all ufo's are actually balloons-balloons are ornery like that)

The simplest answer is usually the correct answer. You explanation is quite complicated and ridiculously improbable. I respect your effort, but this was some parachuting fools with pyrotechnics strapped to their ankles.
The video that made the news is a bit blurry and not in color, but it's clearly very very similar to the other golden knights night jump videos.

Maybe they were maybe they weren't. But they were obviously jumping at night for some reason. I'm not into speculation. What I'm into is looking at a video and pricing together the most likely explanation. And if there isn't a likely explanation, then it's truly an unknown. This thread is based on a video that depicts skydivers utilizing pyrotechnics to acheive a really cool effect (most likely )

I reviewed both videos again. Notice how the first one the lights never go up. They move at a constant rate down. I thought the solid round lights would be impossible if it were the jumpers. However the later video shows solid round lights as well. The later video the lights move at the same rate. The later video they appear to circle and even go up but this is b/c the video is made directly under the jumpers.

Jumpers regularly hold on to each other at first and then separate.

The first video shows almost at all times a trail just as the jumper video does. More likely than not its the jumpers practicing. Surely someone can ask them.

It would seem that simply asking these jumpers may reveal the truth. Maybe someone will lol! Sure seems like the smart thing to do

Wow..I'm getting to the point almost where I can feel the *pain* some skeptics feel on this site everyday..

Let me point out, that I am a *real* believer of alien abductions, and I do believe we have been "visited". I have, on countlesss occasions defended "believers" because of some members around here that tend to hassle and insult members who assert this position.

My post here, is not to defend the tone of certain "skeptics" (you know who you are), but I'm finding, that from this thread and others recently, that the "believer" crowd is getting just as rediculous in their un-relenting desire to out the other position. When do facts, just become facts?? Why can't we realize what is *really* happening on a particular instance and just MOVE ON. This case has been solved.

We have exibit A, B, and C for starters. 3 videos that clearly show skydiving techniques which make the "skeptic" scenario plausible.







THEN, we have the news station (of which reported origionally) ADMITTING that these are skydivers were practicing for the event to happen on the 16th.

EL PASO, Texas -- ABC-7 received several calls into the newsroom Friday night after strange lights appeared over El Paso's skies.

Was it a meteor? No. Just the Amigo Airsho. Airsho officials said the lights were from a practice run for an exhibition called "The Flight of the Golden Knights."

The whole thread? Really? I think that "user" tried really hard to be civil up until he was insulted multiple times. I admit he was childish after that. A lot of the same members get on bad terms in other topics and it starts up again in new topics...
