This was a local story, Sanibel Beach, FL maybe. As I remember a dentist dying from leukemia, spent his own money on microwave equipment to find a cure. He microwaved his body looking to cook the cancer.
But he found out the micro waves were dissociating the water to H2 & O. Further research was being carried out in PA at a university. Sadly he died from the leukemia, and you guessed it story was never in the news again...

My favorite from that election was...
Watching CBS election coverage, JR comes out and say's dad has assured me there are operatives taking care of this. He was responding to the news he had lost Florida. Next time you see him on camera he has a big bandage on his face. Sr wolliped him for that! Would love it if someone could find that news clip?

Yes, I share a similar concern. Not only about the lack of coverage for the incident in texas, but also the way the Boston Bombing was covered. The MSM didn't seem to care as much about martial law taking place right before our eyes as they did about getting us all in fit that another terrorist attack had allegedly taken place.

What bugs me most about the latest string of shootings, bombs, etc... is a total lack of confession from the people accused of carrying out these events. In the past we got admissions of guilt, often accompanied by social/political views or confessions of a secret sordid past or child abuse or cult mentality -- something! These days, the perp is arrested and we never hear from them again.

Ariel Castro is the one instance where we actually got to hear about the perps motives, but that's likely because he was a real, legitimately disturbed person. The rest of these alleged terrorists don't appear to have a clear motive, and if they do have one they don't seem to want to share it. Why is that?

If a person is willing to go so far as to plan and execute a plot to kill and destroy in such a manner, wouldn't it be reasonable to assume there is a reason behind it? And, if so, wouldn't it also be reasonable to assume that the act itself was a conduit to send a message? So what's the message? Why?

It's odd to say the least.

Another possibility is that the Idiot thought he had lost Florida, thus the election, and took a few drinks. He may then have had a "choking on pretzel" moment (i.e. falling over drunk) and hit his face on something, requiring the bandage. They would have had to pump some coffee into him to sober him up enough to stumble and look stupid before the cameras.

I'm also leaning more towards the criminal recklessness too... BUT... I'm more concerned about the lack of media coverage, when the event happened! It almost happened with in a 24 hr window! The explosion was 100 times greater then Boston with more devastation... But the media mostly stayed with Boston, why? It's as if they knew that Texas was an accident, but the marathon attack wasn't!! How can they come to that conclusion, without any facts to back it up, so early after it happened? I would like to know how the media "KNEW", that Boston was more important to stick with! I mean... It's like 2 people, with 2 firecrackers, throwing them during a parade, but the very next day, on the other side of town, someone throws dynamite into a house... What would you be reporting on? Where would you send Anderson Cooper? It's almost like the media was "TOLD"... stay with Boston!

Was anyone killed or seriously injured in the fertilizer plant incident?

Also, unless I'm mistaken accidents/explosions happen relatively often re: fertilizer plants - correct?

I don't think marathons get bombed that often. Also the marathon by definition was a public spectacle, with many eyes around the world already paying attention to it.

I'm not saying the fertilizer explosion you linked to isn't important or newsworthy, but the MSM want ratings, and will follow whatever story they think will produce them.

That was reportedly to do with people taking a synthetic street drug called "Bath Salts". It's interesting that not much (if anything) has been said about that in the news for over a year; however, hopefully that just means that people are smart enough to have stopped using it after seeing what it can do. Not sure though. I'd still like to know more about where it came from, who created it, etc...

Now the "bath salts" stories disappearance I am firmly convinced was due to a conspiracy of sorts. I think they found that by reporting on it, it caused many people to "try" it that may not have heard about it before and sales of bath salts actually increased instead of decreased, so the word went out to the media organizations asking them to let this one die (in the public's best interest of course
) until law enforcement or somebody could get a handle on how best to tackle it.

Yeah, good luck with that...

Great thread Op! We need stories like these to be kept out in the open and questions need to be asked. Too often we get snips and pieces of a story only to find out shortly afterwards it's dropped by the media. I think the questionable death of Michael Hastings is another story that wasn't given enough of an investigation by the media. You would think when one of their own is subject to a questionable death, they would leave no stone unturned.

There are also a lot of political scandals I feel didn't receive enough attention by the media. The death of Vince Foster, the Enron scandal, the savings & loan scandal, the decision to accuse Iraq as being part of 9/11, the killing of Osama Bin Laden, NSA surveillance on US citizens and the government attack on whistle blowers like Snowden, missing gold at Fort Knox... and there is a lot more.

The media will devote weeks of coverage on a mass shooting, but will only give a sound piece on questionable actions by our government or corruption by our political leaders.

They reported anywhere between 15-35 people were killed, around 200 injured. Also, i totally understand them wanting ratings, but like i said before, how did they come to the conclusion, that Boston was more important to report on? It happened the very next day, and it was more devastating then Boston... If i wanted ratings, i would have left Boston and taken off to Texas the minute the video and the news broke of the explosion. Just by the look of what happened there, dwarfs Boston... Ok, basically what i'm saying here is, how long does it take to investigate an incident to know foul play was the cause? How does the media know or not know, that Texas wasn't related to Boston? After 36 hours, there's no way, they could have known if they were related or not! Think about 9/11.. the worse was the twin towers, not DC, and not PA... They focused on the most devastating area.. NY!! It doesn't add up, them deciding to stick with Boston, and not go and do their media circus thing in Texas, where things were 100 times worse... In my opinion, the media knew Boston was going to be the focal point, before it happened... That's why they knew they had to stick with it! Inside info, maybe? Media was part of it? Texas, was an accident that happened, and wasn't part of the Boston incident, and they knew that. They were told to stay with Boston... for whatever agenda. freedomoutpost.com...

Don't know if this counts but here it goes...

In late September of 2011 the BBC's Guardian conducted an interview with one Alessio Rastani who claimed that "Governments don't rule the world - Goldman Sachs rules the world." His shocking statements leave the two interviewers visibly shaken as you can see in this video:

www.youtube.com...

Almost immediately this story was branded as a hoax and Rastani's identity was in question. It was claimed by multiple news agencies and a collective of the internet that he was in fact not a day trader but a member of the group known as the "Yes Men" that are known viral hoaxers (at least at the time).

Within the same two days the BBC quietly returned to state that Rastani was in fact authentic and his claims honest. In their own words:

www.bbc.co.uk...

That was the last bit of information on this story and this individual since 2011 - no follow up interview - nothing.

I remember leaving a yahoo comment on a yahoo sourced article about it the day it was happening and checking it a year later - my comment was still the last ever left in chronological order.

It was all but scrubbed from the internet in a matter of hours and no one blinked an eye or even asked why.

Was anyone killed or seriously injured in the fertilizer plant incident?

Yes. 15 people were killed, and over 160 others were injured, 60–80 homes and one 50-unit Apartment building were destroyed, and 50–75 homes damaged by the blast.

Haven't really looked much into this but here's an interesting one about 911 and the National Reconnaissance Office.

James Bamford, the NRO, and 9/11

“The big motion covers the little motion.” That’s how the magicians put it when they’re among themselves, explaining how the audience is misdirected from what is actually happening on the stage. It’s where the “little motion” is that the really important things are going on. These days it seems that all we hear about among the government’s clandestine organizations is the National Security Agency, the NSA. At the other end of the spook spectrum, we hear next to nothing about the massive super-secret National Reconnaissance Office (NRO). Might that fact not suggest, considering the magicians’ dictum, that we ought to be directing our attention toward the NRO if we want to know where the really important action is?

The NRO did make the news in 2002. Roughly a year after the event, it came to light that they had been planning to conduct a drill on September 11, 2001, at their headquarters in Chantilly, Virginia, near Dulles Airport that was eerily similar to what actually took place in New York City at almost exactly the same time. In the drill, an airplane from Dulles Airport was to have been “flown” into one of the buildings of the NRO complex. When the actual incident happened, the drill was canceled, but nearly all the NRO employees were sent home for the day. According to Christopher Bollyn writing for the American Free Press, the story of the drill disappeared from most national news organs’ websites shortly after it appeared.

Thanks for the additional info - I didn't realize that many people were killed and hurt. And I'm a bit of a news junkie too. Guess that sorta proves your point, huh?

On a side note - any idea why they can only "estimate" 15-35 people killed?

Seems to be an important fact and one which they should be able to narrow down a helluva better than that...

I have looked through this entire thread and did not find this one mentioned yet. It may not be a "cover up" per se but it was quickly forgotton. A few years ago there was a story of a Chinease sub popping up off the coast of California right next to a Aircraft Carrier and surprising the pants off of them. Then, around that same time there was what appeared to be a missle launched from the ocean up into the sky. We are talking about within eye sight of the coast. There was video of the contrail. Military denied it was them at the time if I remember correctly. It was on the news but then I never heard about it again.

.

I remember both of these. I remember listening to a podcast years back stating both stories were related. If I can find it I will put a link up.

Good one. I do remember this.

I always wondered if the reason the story disappeared so fast was that it was a missile launch from a sub, but it was our sub, and it was accidental or a malfunction of some kind. I find it highly unlikely that a Chinese sub crew would have the stones to intrude so far into US territorial waters.

Excellent post
I have noticed this a lot over the years, the main one that comes to mind is the man that cured himself of AIDS without typical 'treatment' i seen him once on a talk show and never heard of it again...that would cost corporations a pretty penny if people knew it were at all possible..come to think of it i dont know how he slipped by and onto tv with that news in the first place!
