They're a fact when they happen to you. You see, I don't need a committee to validate what I already know however, it'll take a committee and an announcement for most of you to know it's true. *sigh*

Because when alien-presence is acknowledged (and it will be) will people STILL need proof that they're capable of abducting and/or contacting Humans or will their presence be good enough?

And if it's not, will you need further confirmation (by perhaps having an alien debut on the Oprah Show) to show you how they 'take' people?

What will it take for you to realize it's factual? An alien? An alien performing the act? The 'science' ? If the latter then you'll be waiting a long time because our science doesn't understand the universal laws and the rate they're going, they never will.

The UN certainly has a high opinion of itself. Why would anyone pay attention to this good-for-nothing organization? The UN has no authority. I have a feeling if the aliens did land this woman would be standing alone on the White House lawn with her hand out while the aliens were landing in Wyoming. Remember the scene in Close Encounters. It was very brief, but when the ship had landed and the door started to open, several man in business suits were rushed out of the VIP room putting on their jackets to "greet" the aliens---who paid absolutely no attenion to them and welcomed Richard Dreyfuss aboard instead.

Okay I just SEARCHED the entire United Nations website (www.un.org...), using the name Mazlan Othman, then the following as search terms: extraterrestrial, alien, ET, first contact, NOTHING comes up as she is the First contact Ambassador, so put this into the HOAX column.

You all can do the search too and see for yourself, Ms Othman is the Director of the Office of Outer Space, nothing more.

The first news story I could find of this was the Herald Sun from Australia, posted 22 hours ago. Then all the other papers and wire services around the world started picking up on it. I have posted links to some of these, and I don't think it's a hoax.

If this is a reputable newspaper (like many are claimung) then isn't itup to THEM to do their research in order to deem this news-worthy? I don't think a newspaper will publish just any random story if it wasn't thoroughly authenticated. Just a hunch...................

I just had to get my troll fix for today actually. Although UN policy is about as evil and even anti-human as it can possibly be. For this reason I don't trust anyone they appoint to anything. I still view them as a vehicle for a one world tyrannical government and for the extermination of 95% of the human race.

The notion of appointing a spokesperson to greet E.T.s in ridiculous. We, as humans, in general, have no idea of the E.T. presence that has been on our planet for millennia. One must get over ones arrogance/ego in accepting that we are living with E.T.s, in power, society and even underground. Many 'alien' lifeforms reside on this planet and have for a long time. The truth is that other types of being from other planets or galaxies are well aware of the the way that humans have been manipulated into believing the doctrines forced upon them, so why would they want to contact the 'foolish' humans?

A few hundred years ago, It was accepted as fact that the earth was flat, yet a few thousand years ago, ancient cultures knew as much about the cosmos as we do today. You are being fooled and have been all your life, your fore farther's life and if you're still ignorant, your children's life.

I have reason to believe that the gradual introduction of the reality of E.T. life in the media is to fuel the false 'alien invasion' that would warrant a N.W.O. .

The very point of this news story is to introduce the idea of a welcoming party, a united front, a global representative, a power that represents the planet = A N.W.O. . It is, as much of the media is, there to galvanize you.

If you still don't believe in E.T.s then you are an excellent servant. Well done you. The proof is out there!

I do not want the U.N. involved in making contact or appointing anyone to make contact with aliens on behalf of mankind. I would rather see We The people vote on a referendum on who we want as a spokesperson or persons for mankind.

The U.N. would take advantage of the situation and want to have total control of the people and cut deals with the aliens in other words WIIFT- What's IN It For Them. ^Y^

I feel sorry for Dr. Othman now. The skeptics, debunkers and disinfo agents are really going to pour it on, let her have it with both barrels. That's the way it's always been, and I hope she can take it. There are elements at work behind the scenes that simply do not want to have anything about this subject in the public domain except in the form of ridicule, and they're powerful. So if the UN declared war on the United States you wouldn't take that seriously? Almost 200 nations declaring they will go to war against us doesn't concern you one bit?
