Glenn Beck uses a script for a living. Doubt he even takes any of what he says seriously. More power to him, his living the american dream.

A lot of people have mentioned John Holdren...Concerning Holdren, Beck said that Holdren proposed the idea of putting sterilants in drinking water. Which is true. Beck didn't say Holdren advocated for the use of sterilants in Drinking water.
Regarding the hanger door cost of repairs...Beck retracted and admitted to the mistake. 
And regarding liberalism and Naziism... Most people don't understand what is meant when one claims that Naziism is 'far right' .  Far right basically means supremacy is king (Aryan nation anyone?) news outlets use the terms right and left to describe liberals and conservatives. 

Okay, so the term right-wing has it's roots in France and traditionally a right-winger stands for the preservation of social orders and institutions....the term is also used to describe individuals such as conservatives that support free market capitalism.  Radical right and far right individuals do tend to favor segregation of different types of people and tend to hold themselves in a higher regard than people that are different from them (supremacy).  
The problem is, people on the right are mostly not far-right bigots but get painted as such, and people on the left are not all free live progressive hippies. Both far right and Far left want complete control Over you (except for libertarians and anarchists) What happens is that people get caught up in this stupid argument of right versus left. Under socialism or Marxism you lose individual rights and may be disposed of if you are not useful. Under Naziism you lose all individual rights and may be disposed of if you are not useful. Different motivations same outcome. They both suck and one can argue right versus left forever because both radical right and radical left are two different means to the same end.

The man is an actor and just another tool of the msm. He doesnt attack corporations because they pay some of his salary and keep him employed. Corporate government and the federal reserve are some of the bigger problems with the country, does he talk about these on his show?

He repeatedly tells his audience that he is an "entertainer" and a "rodeo clown". So I guess you can't blame him if people want to try to make him something else.

I think it speaks for itself when the man clearly describes and identifies himself and people insist on making him into something they want to "believe" that he is.

Obviously the problem is not so much Beck as it is his fans, but again, what do you expect when you consider that "fan" is simply a shorten version of a more accurately and descriptive word.

My faith in GB dropped drastically when he pronounced on TV that he was going to open up about the FEMA camps, only to retract that a few hours later.

I'd rather have someone like Alex Jones pointing people to the right direction with sensationalized theories, then a puppet like GB who just reads from a teleprompter.

He just tells you what he's allowed to, otherwise mr. Beck won't have any money to feed his family with at the end of the month.

The problem I have with Glenn is not so much that he lies but he doesn't concentrate on the global central banks and the Federal Reserve. It's always a side bar issue and he calls the people in greece fighting for their economic freedom "anti-capitalist". Well if allowing global central banks, mega-corporations and the Federal reserve to control our economy in a croney capitalist enviornment is a "free market". Then you can call me anti-capitalist. This is not a true free market. Plus he supported TARP bailouts on his CNN show. He hates Woodrow Wilson but never talks about the Federal Reserve Act that Wilson signed into law.

Also, when he did his segment on Che and the South American anit-imperialist movement he didn't give any context to the fact that South America was being manipulated by outside governments (including U.S.) putting dictators in power and meddeling in their business just like we always do. I'm not supporting Che I'm just saying Glenn never explained why there is an anit-american sentiment and why countries turn to communism in the face of Imperialism. Instead of an honest discussion about how the United States has played a part in creating this anit-imperialist movement...he just blames the progressives and the left.

Plus he quotes the founders:

“Question with boldness even the existence of a God; because, if there be one, he must more approve of the homage of reason, than that of blind-folded fear.”

Except for 9/11...don't question that because he'll make you out to be a moron. Just ask Debra Medina...www.youtube.com...

Glenn Beck is a scum bag!! He's a liar all the time, and a good example of this is his stance on net neutrality. This especially concerns us at ATS!!

Hey Lemon, NO Glenn Beck is not infallible, he is ONLY human.

What he did to Medina REALLY pissed me off!

Though, besides him and a couple others, who else in the MSM is putting the spotlight on our supposed representatives. Yes, he believes a couple of the things like the 9/11 things are conspiracies the other way.

Do you blame him? What is it we are supposed to believe? He initially got it into his head their was a conspiracy and then came to the conclusion that it went the other way, which is the way I went initially. I am still not convinced either way, I would like a second look.

No one can be right about everything, yet I think he made a VERY big error doing what he did to Medina.

So, what am I to believe? Everything hes says is incorrect? We are all truth seekers, that is what pissed me off the most about it. Maybe he is one of those that will vehemently deny something because he cannot except the fact that our government could be THAT evil?

He's going to run out of new things to freak out about someday, and when he does, his career will be over. He's like the bad guy in a professional wrestling soap opera drama. He has to keep amping the menace to new heights or the drama addicts will move on to someone else. If you want to get rid of him, invent someone else who's got more fear to peddle than he does. He knows exactly what he's doing. He's the bad guy pro wrestler, and he's banking as much as he can before his run is over.

He probably hates that he has to do "geek tent" shtick to compete with guys like Limbaugh who careved out a nice comfortable niche without getting cartoonishly bizarre. Whatever. No one that's vaguely average takes the guy seriously. He's a sideshow freak and he's got his carny fan base. God bless him and his geek tent act. Scares enough Progressive to keep some of them engaged.

I really wonder what happened to Beck. When he was on CNN, he seemed to fire at the Republicans just as much as the Democrats. But now, he seems to have lost his mind.

Oh yeah, because if there is anything we need is ANOTHER MSM outlet trashing Republicans constantly, while ignoring the people who are actually in control of the government.

I remember when the Republicans were in charge and anytime any of them tried to blame Democrats, the talking point from the media was, "you're the ones in charge". What ever happened to that?

In any case, Beck does go after Republicans all the time.

Beck himself admits that he is no journalist, that he is is just an entertainer. I fail to understand why we should give any more credit to his political musings than say, those of Paris Hilton, Lindsey Lohan, or any other celebritard.

How about this one: Beck uses the "I am Thomas Paine" schtick in his act, but Thomas Paine was an early supporter of a progressive agenda. Common sense, indeed.

The burden is on the OP to explain to us why we should take a celebrity-entertainer seriously as a political thinker.

It's not that he's making money, it's that people actually think he's real. You can say I'm confused and angry but the fact is beck is a tv personality that millions watch to try to fill the void of knowing it's all a damn joke.

Fine, haha go and think glenns a great man for "listening to the people" and "standing up for what's right" all the while he intones his show with pathetic acting that is supposed to show he's flabbergasted..

Ok. My worldview of things is the cause for my view of beck. I believe that all these things presented to us, are merely to lock us down into a mode of thought and then action, to further the master plan. Which seems to be control all through ideas, while those free from the ideas of others control themselves and the unthinking.

I may seem angry. You would be angry if you choose to let it sink in, that blood is merely a resource.

Maybe he has a mental block. I dunno.

I am just speaking my own mind on why I do not approve of him. Some people are find getting bits of truth mixed with a load of crap. I can't. It is the same reason that I can't stand Alex Jones, Jack Blood, etc.

I also lost faith in Beck. He used to be my go to source for info and entertainment. Until he betrayed me three times, each worse than the previous. Not to mention he can't follow his own advice.

That is why I would call for a NEW investigation. Maybe he is afraid to investigate it? Like I said, some people just cannot come to terms with that kind of evil.

All anyone here has to do is see where all the threads on the left wing propagandists in the media. You wont find any. All the people who complain about Beck, do so because propaganda sites like Media Matters puts out hit jobs on him. If these people actually cared about accuracy in media, you would see them complain about guys like Ed Schultz, Chris Matthews, Brian Williams and the plethora of government lap dogs in the MSM.

You don't, because they are fine with lies and spin, as long as its a means to their ends.

Wrong.

First off, review my post at the bottom of page 5. Tell me how that fits into your view of people against Beck.

Second, Beck gets more crap because he is bigger than those others (probably combined).

Third, everyone knows those others you mentioned are full of crap, which is why they do not have the viewership that Beck does.

He does give some truth, but it is mixed with a load of crap. There is no mixing in the others. It is just a load of crap.
