Glenn beck is tavistock imagineer scum, crafted to represent the neocon you wish was the president.

open your eyes, not the tv guide.

Hilarious, you're rallying for a tv show. You think he's a normal man, a normal man isn't in his shoes. Pathetic, all this disgusting pandering to the almighty idols.

he uses some truth in order to hypnotize into a state of absolute trust, then, like a viper injects poisonous meme into your mind that you then feel you must spread.

Never trust the enemy, never trust the screen. Just a screen, to cover your mind.

He get's you worked up! Woah I got the glenn beck truth, I now have the tools to discern the situation of america! I care, I'm listening glenn what should I do!?

Just get angry, emotional and confused, that's what. Dazed and confused/

You're sick if you think this scum is sincere.

There's a reason no one has to attack Glenn Beck's actual message - he's obviously crazy. Its the same reason no one has to go up to the crazy guy on the street corner ranting about the end-times or the coming alien invasion (whilst wearing his tinfoil hat
), we already know that guy is crazy, just walk away and leave him in peace.

Not to pick you out, but I will. How often do you watch Beck? Does your knowledge of him come from his haters or do you actually watch his show and research what he says?

That will tell us whether your opinion is based on fact or on ideology and perhaps hatred for anyone not of your ideology.

Be kind, I'm not taking sides here. I have noticed though that often those with the most venomous opinions don't bother to do research; instead they simply hate anyone that their peers tell them to hate. They often don't even know if their venom is based on fact.

Exactly, Beck is a brand. That's all he is. He's just a little pen for people of a certain scene to hang out in.

The OP will never be convinced, so why even ask OP? Why bother? What do you have so invested in Beck that you cannot accept others think he's a douchebag. There's no point to this at all.

I'll ask you the same? Is your opinion because you have watched many of his shows, in their entirety and in context and researched what he says to see if it is true?

How many of his shows have you watched and what did you do to determine if he was being honest in the things he says.

Again not taking sides but I find this interesting.

OP if you would have looked for yourself you could have found many things to possibly make you rethink your position, but it seems you enjoy being told things instead searching for the answers to the questions you seek, yourself.

I'm not being mean or inconsiderate, just telling you what I think, I used to like beck until he urinated all over the things which spur me to self actualization of this world stage.

OK, you too.

How many of his shows have you watched?

How did you research what he said to determine if it was factual?

What exactly is it he has said that makes you call him a "douche-bag"?

But he didn't actually say those things. I posted a link with the exact wording Holdren used.

Several, I can't count em on my hands.

How did you research what he said to determine if it was factual?

I went and looked the crap up myself on the internet or went to the book he proclaimed it came from. Most of it doesn't need to be researched as it's his opinion. He states it as such. I take opinions at face value as they are subjective. You cannot prove an opinion right or wrong. It's not a fact.

What exactly is it he has said that makes you call him a "douche-bag"?

I didn't call him a douchbag. I said some people think he is a douchebag. Personally, I think douchebage is too nice for him.

Now let's turn this train around-Why are you even asking any of this? What does it matter to you what anyone on this site thinks of Gleen freaking Beck?

No. As I said in my analogy Beck is like the crazy guy on the street corner. You don't have to stop and listen to his long-winded sermons to know he's crazy. It's kind of like David Icke, once you learn about the Reptilian theory you know to stop listening and walk away because that guy is nuts. Once you hear Beck making absurd connections between Hitler and some decision out of the Obama administration you can stop listening and shut off the TV - that guy is nuts.

I personally stay away from TV news if I can help it, whether that be Fox, CNN, or MSNBC, too much spin going on for it to actually be informative.

You know, one of the ways we find ourselves, is by listening to others, gleaning the truth from the fiction and growing from what we learn.

I'm curious, do have any say authors, leaders or even opinion show hosts you follow and defend yourself?

Again, I'm neutral, just interested in the process here. If you have people you follow unquestioningly based on your ideology, you in fact are identical to the OP. If you follow nobody other than yourself, you have a point.

Seriously? Whoopie is the best you have? Have you been keeping up with Lohan, to make sure she's safe?

It's interesting what you did here.
Do you even realize it?

If I lied about Lohan would that be acceptable because of who she is or simply be indicative of who I am?

Very elitist point of view you have there but not much of a sidestep from the fact that he lied.

I guess this thread is a joke.

When I watch the tv electronic image and noise box, I understand that everything therein is detrimental to a human being.

Books are different, public speakers are different.

When you have A box with a wire leading to a facility, that broadcasts things only if paid large sums of money, you realize you're switching channels but watching the same programming.

All channels and all shows are the tv program, designed to rob you of your time, and your mind.

Dirty jobs and bizarre eats, maybe a nature show, how about a motorcycle building show, that's neat! .. yea really helping out the evolution of our consciousness, really helping to change this mess.

You may ask what am I doing, I'm trying to help people assert their reality, not allow it to be cordoned off.

I'm interested in why people hate the people they hate and why. I find its often based on peers, ideology or in some cases unfounded anger at others for simply having a different opinion than they do.

For instance if a person who never watched Beck or any other commentator and they made venomous remarks about them, its raw emotion not based even remotely on fact. If they hate someone simply because their ideology is different, its also not based on any kind of fact.

What I see with Beck is an entertaining show, filled with opinion yes, but also containing interesting information and I glean what I want from him. He seems to be a fairly decent person who simply has an ideology not in line with mine, so I'd probably never call him childish names or use profanity to describe him because that is just slander.

So you believe that the TV can not ever be used as a tool to teach or learn from? We are not that far apart I think.

I only watch news, documentaries (about which I'm very picky), other non-fiction and I admit I enjoy and occasional good movie.

Is it not the content that bothers you rather than the tool?

You never did answer. Have you ever watched Beck and checked out what he says for yourself to see what is true and what is not true? That was really my original question.

I used to be a die hard Beck fan. I was a subscriber to his website, forums, and to his magazine, Fusion.

I started listening to him back when he first moved to Philadelphia. He used to be awesome. Telling things straight, and was not politically correct (sick twisted freak intro, Moron trivia, etc.).

It all went downhill when he got on CNN. Then he moved to FOX, and took a nose dive.

My first issue, was his take on the women of The View. He was lifted hard on that one.

My second issue was his abnormal flip flop on FEMA camps.

The final straw was when he through Debra Medina under the bus, and affiliated her with Communists. Research that one. Especially the communications with Pat Gray .While you are at it, research Gray's ties with Dan Patrick and Rick Perry. That will tie the whole mess up.

That is why I refuse to listen to him. He lost a loyal paying customer/fan because of what he has become.
