Nobody knows with certainty what that object is, therefore it IS a UFO.

Insect? No, too fast for any insect plus there are no white dragonflies or other flying insects that are both large, white and fast.

Sometimes you get the real deal while you're not looking for it. That could be the case here. Earth-based explanations fall short here.

Everyone who says it's too fast for a bird or an insect pls provide calculations on how exactly you calculate it's flying speed.

I see the stuff that everyone is commenting on regarding the object after 4:00 min mark, but what about the object flying upwards at 3:14 (top left) and then left to right (top) in and out of cloud at 3:24???

What's that then?

Its funny watching two sides of the same coin bickering with one another. "It's a bird!" "Its a UFO!". Any the bluntness of everyone's posts! Stating how you are "1000% sure" (direct quote) you know what it is. Really? So from a non-hd Youtube video of a yellow dot travelling across the screen for less then two seconds you can claim to understand what this object is, what it is not, and being so stubborn in your claims! This is not debate!

Deny Ignorance

I for one, cannot be 100% one way or another what it is. Too many variables are left for any concrete hypothesis to be laid. As such, I will watch the video, be entertained, then push it to the back of my mind where all the rest of the junk awaits recycling back into the void. I have no time to pursue debate on this topic, as it is clear from the beginning no complete answer is attainable. However my opinion for those who even bothered to read this far is that it is a Merkaba.

1 + 1 = 2

see? it isn't a bird.
maybe a Spheniscidae (Penguins), but definately not a bird.

I'm with you, ITS A BIRD!!!!

He was fired for making a huge deal about a BIRD

Who wants to pay a so called expert money when they have completely flipped out over a BIRD?

Yeah I'm sure it was those pesky Japanese tourist who outed his BIRD video to the world media. Why would Japanese tornado researchers come all the way to the U.S. and tornado alley just to buy footage from Lan who?

No credible back up reports and if that thing was as big as an air force jet and it went that fast, everyone would have been blown over by the shock wave from the sonic boom as the BOOM is caused by the air being pushed to hard creating a shock wave. Everything that flies in our sky would cause it at a fast enough speed, THERE IS NO WAY AROUND IT.

UFOs are fakes, Our government wants you all to believe in them so you wont believe in GOD!!!

Hmmm, I wonder when 'quick' pause/playing (over and over) a YouTube video became the equivalent of 'video analysis...???

That being said... A bird flying that fast? and I'm supposed to believe it's possible to see it's wee little wings FLAPPING by having a quick trigger finger on the ol' pause/play button of the video?

That's almost as believable as the object being a UFO!

Oh, wait... IT IS A UFO!

peace

Oh come on! How can that be a bird? It would have to be extremely close to the camera to cover that ground so quickly, and if that was the case then we would easily be able to identify it as a bird by simply pausing the tape.

Also, don't birds get the hell out of dodge when a tornado's around...? I know I would.

I don't know what it is, but it gives the impression of something traveling at ridiculous speed.

I love that so many people will either ignore or argue the speed estimate given by proffesionals whose job it is to know such things. I'd love to hear what qualifies you to argue with these proffesionals on their estimate, as well as where these mysterious wings are? I'm not saying you shouldn't question such things, but when you don't have a clue what you're talking about, it's pretty pointless. And let me just say, as impressed as I am that you managed to figure this out (trying it your way, I certainly couldn't) by punching play/pause, Im loathe to think that is the same rationale the experts have used.

Those that believe this is a bird do so in spite of the evidence, not because of it. I don't know wtf it is, but I'm fairly certain it isn't any sort of bird from earth. If you'd adapt your theory to include undiscovered birds from currently unknown earth-like planets that exist outside of our vision, maybe I'd laugh less at your ignorant insistance. Such a thing as just as credible as your bird stance.

No, I dont necessarily think its garbage that flew by. I just hate it when people are so oblivious. I'm a UFO believer myself, I think I might of seen one one time, but I cant say if it was really a UFO. I'm also very minded so I take everything in consideration, but this video just screams too me that certain people go beyond the boarder and try to make themselves believe.

It's not like the thing went from the right towards the tornado and stopped there. I'm sure it's safe to say that the object came from the right behind the camera, moving to the front left and onwards. I don't know how you see this thing going into it. It doesn't even cut close perspective wise. Some of you probably need to go to an eye doctor.

Professionals? Where is the evidence there really were professionals involved? As far as we are concerned, there is no evidence. Just someone's word.

And I
that people critize ME for spending time looking at the video and coming to a conclusion its a bird because I actually do see flapping wings yet will take the word of this guy as truth whilst he provides no evidence of his claim and has already been shown to not be completely truthful (see other thread about this)

Deny Ignorance for sure

Ok then.
Carry on.

"flapping wings"...? Are you serious?

Could you provide some shots, or slow-mo video, for those of us who don't have superhuman eyesight? Thanks.

this is a UFO. Period.

Some people here will go on saying that they even hear the "bird" flapping and performing the funky chicken.

There is no way a Bird can cover the angle of the camera in such a short time, if it did it should be very close to the film crew and then we could see clearly its a bird flapping and all... but hey ATS is full of "debunking experts" in ALL FIELDS.

I dont know what the heck it is, hence its a UFO.

Great video.

BTW if the original crew have the high res video and could not see what ATS experts can in 3 minutes, please tell them that:

1) they wasted money in the Chopper, and the airplane.
2) Wasted Time
3) Got fired for an effin dove with superflying abilities...

I have seen this before. It is interesting to say the least. Nonetheless, its safe to say that the object is not an airplane, helicopter, or an insect because the object is moving far too fast. I'm sure that there will be several people who will argue against my assessment for the sake of getting their keyboard time in, but, from my observation, this is in the truest sense, a UFO.

You evidently didn't watch the entire video where the expert calculates that the object is 30ft long, 18ft high in the centre and travelling between 9000-16,000mph.

I don't think he is correct, but you should as a all-knowing moderator at least watch the entire video before dismissing people's arguments.

It doesn't really matter what that person said, because there is no way to tell how close the object is to the camera -- and if you don't know how close the object is to the camera, than you can't estimate its speed.

It could be far away moving extremely fast, or close to the camera moving at bird speeds.

You know how in ATS it's possible to star and flag?

I whish there was a way to actually remove stars and flags. I wasted 4 minutes of my life just to see what I've been seeing in hundred other videos, a little white dot that appears to be flying really fast, nothing more.

Could have been a bug, could have been a bird, could have been a secret project, could have been the aliens, could have been an asteroid, simply no way to know and I, and a lot of people, just wasted 4 minutes for that. Is the rest of the video even worth it?

Yep... thats amazing alright...

Amazing a thread was created for it.

Amazing people see a UFO.

But still, its true:

I certainly AM amazed after watching it. And yes in full screen. And yes the whole thing.

Amazed at such pills.....
