I'm doing some checking to try to find out what that stuff was...it has to be a chemical, because nothing I know of in nature looks like that. So far I did come across an industrial chemical which is pink and it's a degreaser/cleaner....but I'm not saying that's what it is....I think whatever it was, it's related somehow to the "fishing" they are doing. Maybe there is oil or residue in there and they were cleaning it with the pink stuff? I'm still looking....I HAVE to know what it is....maybe some of the guys at the oil drum would know?

Well that is something I did not expect from BP. That camera view of the inside of the downhole pipe is just interesting. I will have some video up soon for you. I guess I was really proven wrong from what I thought yesterday.

Yeah whatever is on Sub C ROV 1 is weird. Definitely leaking steady blobs of oil. Sometimes it is pretty intense. I think that feed is looking into the well cal where they are doing the fishing, but I really don't know. Regardless though that IS oil leaking at a pretty good rate.

I read yesterday tat the pipe had a malfunction and something would not close. I have tried to find that info from yesterday but can't locate it.I would guess that pipe we are looking at is the same one from yesterday. I wonder what their plans are concerning the malfunction in the pipe. I am just glad they are showing that feed from the pipe.

Hi Dragon apparently it's a shot of inside the well where one of the blades in the ram is stuck

In this case they have to show it...only way to get a visual on it. And with the reporters asking about the feeds again, it's in their best interest. Notice how all the feeds that are usually supposed to be working have been near perfect? Not a coincidence.

I am going to guess that whatever valve closes off the cap from the well and the cap from the Gulf is either stuck or won't close all the way. They did open it because we saw all the oil come gushing out...they then closed it because it went to a trickle and has been ever since, unless its spewing pink or green or brown stuff.

Thanks
Something ins't right because I think they are not even supposed to be fishing. I think something serious happened and now they are just trying to stall until they figure out what to do next. I wonder what their next "successful" failure might be

Here is another one that really shows some action from down below. Watch at 0:40 sec, then 2:00 min, and 3:00 its worth the viewing.

WTH could that be? Methane?

It leaks out like dry ice...

I'm thinking the odd coloring is them futzing with filters or lighting, although the surrounding parts dont seem to change as the 'dry ice' does.
