Yes, but that is exactly why I am suspicious in this case. He usually uses drugs to sedate the victim, then apparently let Natalee die of an overdose. He said she had fallen off a balcony, that she had been buried in a swamp, and that she had been buried at sea, so all his stories are so farfetched that he cannot be believed at all.

There was blood spattered over the room, she was found in his room, and in a way it all sounds as though he was set up for a fall. Anything could have happened so that he was the easy victim and fall guy for another crime for another reason.

I am not sure what I believe right now. I believe he is a pimp of a kind, a liar, and a basically unhappy spoiled rotten child who has never grown up.

He is decidedly antisocial and should be locked up. But with a murder rap like that in Peru, his chances are nil, and he would be better off dead to be honest.

I feel sorry for the young woman who was found in his room. I hope that more will be revealed about how and why they were brought together.

At this point, I am convinced that he is dead. A report said that his body had been found, and that it appears to be suicide. Daily world Trends...coming from Twitter also.

Who is this kid really? There has been something strange about him since 05, this kid is connected to something or someone. He allegedly murdered 2 girls, was almost arrested on sex trafficking.

It doesn't add up.....

Okay, here is what I think. Joran is used as bait to get the girls for the big boss ring leader of the sex slave industry. Many powerful people are involved.

He may not be the one who actually kills them but he lures them in for the kill.
He is well protected and knows it. If he screws up which apparently he did he's not going down for it. Probably tied to the Mob!

Because of the anniversary date, I believe that he was lured into a poker game especially set up as a vendetta to get even with him. The choice of the victim (girl) is something that is speculative, but there is little doubt in my mind that he was set up and the date gets the message through. Someone did it! Who? Who knows? It reminds me too much of the Geoffrey Dahmar case, and we know from the sounds of people sounding off on ATS and Twitter that everybody was out to see him go down.

His true guilt or innocent is questionable, but you could be right...it is all a part of a mobster related gang sex slavery trade issue.

I wonder why the victim of the murder in his hotel room. He would not have ever left a victim of his own in his own room if you think about it.

Could very well be the case. My personal belief is that he drugged Natalee Holloway and that she died accidentally upon which he called his dad with whom he dumped the body somewhere.

Joran van der Sloot is a smart psychopath, but something smells fishy about this case. I don't believe he's the kind of person who would kill a girl like this in cold blood and especially not in a room that he booked in his own name. He would have known that he'd come after him immediately. Apparently, he paid two brothers €500,- to get him past the border with Chile.

This is a conspiracy site and South America would be the perfect place for such a set-up. Like you said, especially the anniversary dates makes it weird.

Remember that this happened in Peru, and Holloway's murder wasn't news in a lot of countries.

Not really, is supposed to be quite good at poker and that's how he is earning his money. When he lived in Thailand he had a pretty big house for himself.

I think I was some type of hidden camera thing were he seemed to also be part of recruiting girs for prostitution.

Very big part of Chilean and Argentinean people are white, descendants of the Italian and German inmigrants besides other europeans. He probably knows that too.....an smart move, if he doesn't open his mouth, he can walk in the streets without a problem. He might be able to cross the border with Uruguay (also predominant white race), to get access to the atlantic coast.

I wonder why you feel the need to claim he admitted to murder on a hidden camera show every time, when he did not do this. I'm English but was brough up in the Netherlands so I speak fluent Dutch.

In the hidden camera show and other shows where he was paid to speak about the case, he has only claimed to have known what happened to Natalie.

First version, she died of overdose, and he freaked out now knowing what to do, so he called a friend who took over and dumped the body. So, in version one he's more or less an idiot that panics and others take over and he than had to misslead the authorities

Second version, she took coc aine and while they were at a friends place they were on the balcony. She then proceded to climb the balcony railing(if you see pictures it's really impossible) to dance, but fell off and died. He and his friends were so afraid about the coc aine use so they decided to dump the body in a swamp that was near to his friend's house.

I'm not sure what he claimed on American tv. But what keeps happening, and what he claims himself, is that he'll tell anybody a story for money since that's what the media is paying him for. There were also reports that the hidden camera show was a fix, where the Patrick that deceived him... was actually fooling the hidden camera show WITH Joran van der Sloot.

Facts are... he never admitted to murder on Dutch tv. He keeps changing the story, when he says a possibility to make some money. He always seems involved with human trafficing around the world.

Conclusion? Too many people created a messy situation for him to profit from. And when it comes down to it... he's entertained the public because they love a good sensational story.

Don't blame Americans only. I wrongly described in my opening that he confessed the murder, whereas he only confessed to have been involved in her disappearance, like I stated in my reply a few posts above yours. I am partly to blame for the misinformation.

I hope whatever country he is jailed in has either the death penalty or the worst jails.

But with the kind of contacts he has by now, in his line of work. He could disappear for a while.

Well, I disagree with the idea of us regular guys as Natalee Holloway and her class did more than most high school seniors ever do, and that is that they went to Aruba to casinos for an after school excursion. That is in itself more than being one of us regular guys...very elitist and unusual. In California, it is big deal to go to Disneyland...but in Alabama, it has to be Aruba...some regular class...HA!

Some kids save and save for their spring break.
Some parents are willing to spend hard earned money to send their kids to a nice place for spring break.

Ultimately, does it really matter if she was rich or poor ?
She was just looking to have a fun spring break and she was murdered.
Her parents just wanted her to enjoy her life and now their daughter is gone.

I want more than anything for this guy to be taken alive. I want to find out the truth about the Holloway case and the cover up and corruption that will unfold in Aruba afterwards. I am willing to bet that Aruba is hoping he will blow his brains out before Interpol finds him to avoid the inevitable embarassment and scrutiny. I will not be surprised if we find out about more murders he has committed during this country hopping he has been doing. Also, I am interested in knowing the name of this 3rd party that contacted his attorney in the U.S. Could it be his mommy? What type of parenting skills must one have to breed a monster such as this?

Van der Sloot went "On the Record" with us in 2006, claiming he had left Natalee alone on a beach.

in February of '08, Van der Sloot was shown on hidden tape saying that Natalee had collapsed on the beach and that he had disposed of her body.

Well, now his story changes again. Joran contacted us, claiming he wanted to tell us the truth about what happened that night. He produced as evidence three telephone conversations saved on a digital chip. Joran claims the recordings are conversations between his father and him. If authentic, the recording suggest that Joran told his father what happened to Natalee.

Then I saw a guy and he came, and he just handed me a bag, grabbed the girl by the arm and he went to the boat that he had in the water.

She said nothing, nothing until she was on the boat. And then she was, like, Hey, you know, what's going on? You're not coming with me, or -- I don't know. She wasn't -- wasn't panicking or anything. The Holloways are doomed, won't be long before they got Peter R. de Vries on their back. These folks are the true cold blooded snakes here. An innocent girl, who didn't have a thing to do with anything, had to die just for them to have their revenge? These Alabamians have just sealed their faith bydoing so. Ummm... actually, I'm in South America all of the time because I am a tour director and conduct quite a few archaeological tours to Peru each year.

A tall, lanky, American in a small South American town will stick out like a sore thumb. Once you get away from the big cities in Peru, you encounter small towns where very few tourists venture. You'll be noticed, especially if your face has been plastered all over the country. If you're taking the bus, it's not like you're traveling through thriving metropolosises.

I said that Van Der Slut was "blondish" meaning that he's not a dark South American who will fit in with the population. He's a pale, white, European.

As for traveling more? These days, I wish I were home more.

Also....

Van Der Slut's father died a few months ago. I'm sure he had a good life insurance policy. Since they were fairly wealthy, I'm willing to say he was insured for at least a million.

And Joran, who was a spoiled kid, was probably a recipient of some that dough....I'm sure his mother is still sporting him cash when he needs it.
