So what makes your bible correct over the other various fictitious religious tomes around the world?
I'm curious to know why the bible takes precendence over the texts of say, islam, buddhism, judaism, hinduism, egyptian, sumerian, etc.
Why is the bible 'the text' to believe? Is it merely because you believe it to be? Are the billions who do not follow the bible now or previously all wrong?
I'm genuinely curious to know why the bible is "correct" in this aspect as opposed to the countless others who are much older.

If you would bother to compare the Bible to anything else it's obvious.
66 books by 44 authors over a period of more than sixteen hundred
years on three different continents and in ancient times?. Yet they compliment each other without a single contrast, when brought together to form the canon?
When has that occurred before?
Then surely Scientology or Dudeism is more plausible.

No ... There not. There really just not. Tell me about the actual comparisons you've made. Instead of sitting as some judge which you havn't the slightest right.
Compare them yourself.

HAHAHA!
How old are you?
I've been reading your posts lately and I get the feeling
you're 16, 17 yrs old, trying to hype up the conspiracy world
in your own demonic way.
BTW: You're just as "special as I am."

You can't Judge because no one listens to your blasting off at the mouth.
Your just a puny pathetic little man. Not an insult. A fact.
Why would any one listen to your intellectualism? Mankind I'm pretty sure has just about popped a cap in his own ass with recent events.
Go judge that. Do'in real good without the creators guidence that's for sure.
"Popped a cap in his own ass" with recent events? Explain how mankind has sealed its fate. If you want to debate world events in regards to mankind acting on its own accord or with the influence of religion, I'm happy to do so. And expect the outcome of the argument would either be 50/50 or slightly more in your favour of religion being the cause of our supposed ass-cap-popping.
Ok, that's not the sort of vindictive, bitter statement I expected to hear from someone who's had the wonderful spirit of Jesus and God in their heart

What makes you think the rapture is going to take place at all? Seems to me the verse usually used as the basis for the rapture wasn't even written by the same author and definitely isn't in the book of Revelations.
So this thread is already based on vague Biblical prophecies and scriptures and now you're gonna bring aliens in to it?
I just don't see the connection.
