I read your post and about fell over. Just today me and my wife were discussing what possible event could cover up the rapture. The only thing we could come up with is just what you posted. That just floored me m8. Thanks for posting this S&F for you my friend.

Yes...I have studied other religions and doctrines.... but the OP was talking about a deception concerning CHRISTIANS...not other religions.

My church believes in the pretrib rapture.I believe
the church will go through the tribulation.I have been
studying the jewish roots of the christian faith.
When God was proving His power to the egyptians,
through the 10 plagues.The hebrew slaves lived through
those plagues,but they were supernaturally protected.
The 10 plagues, mentioned in the old testament,are
a precursor to the tribulation.

Damn, quite a long read through this thread and a lot of valid points. Just one thing, people are mislead into thinking that the "rapture" is hush hush and we'll only know once thousands or millions of people suddenly disappear.......this is not true.

Every Eye will see Him coming on cloud and with the final trumpet (the 7th) all living and deceased righteous will go up and meet Him. Then the living non-righteous will join the rest of the deceased.

From there the righteous will be in the New Jerusalem and go through the Life Books of the non-righteous to see and rule that God's judgement is Just. This will last a 1000 years.

After the 1000 years, the New Jerusalem will descend and God will resurrect the non-righteous and then Satan (who cannot resurrect) will gather them all, which will be the final assault on Jerusalem and God and all will destroy them with fire from heaven. The ones that survive will be cast into the Lake of Fire.

This is how I can remember the study I did for the End Days and by reading more books, researching tablets from the ancients I should agree with the OP. Beings not of this world will have their final battle here on earth where we will witness the destructive and creative power of each.

So, my question is...How does God know who is righteous and who is not? Is it a telepathic ability from us which hidden that transmits into the Ether and God picks it up and thus knows who to take and who to reject?

Your theory crosses the Second coming event with the rapture. A secret rapture comes some where close to the beginning of the Great Tribulation The 7th trumpet falls within that 7 year window. The rapture precedes the trumps. Now there may be a secondary rapture to collect the trib. saints.

I had a deep and insightful dream where the governments (Elite, PTB, etc.) fulfilled the prophecies of the bible.

It just seems to me, pure speculation of course, that these forces are on a path... "trying" to wipe the islamic faith out, leaving the king james version "believers" as the last step....

So what makes your bible correct over the other various fictitious religious tomes around the world?

I'm curious to know why the bible takes precendence over the texts of say, islam, buddhism, judaism, hinduism, egyptian, sumerian, etc.

Why is the bible 'the text' to believe? Is it merely because you believe it to be? Are the billions who do not follow the bible now or previously all wrong?

I'm genuinely curious to know why the bible is "correct" in this aspect as opposed to the countless others who are much older.
