i know for my tour in Germany, i had an APO address 09696 (Furth)
and mail came & went thru that delivery system...but once it got to NY the mail entered the USA postal system, and that was both its origin and/or termination point.
So technically for 3 years my legal address was a NY mailing address.



so too with the children's legal filing address, it would not have been Japan but rather SanFrancisco,
~but their birth place would still be the actual facility in that overseas place.

I was born in N. Carolina in 1953. I got my first job, and SS number in Indiana in 1968. the first 3 digits are 313, corresponding to Indiana.

Not too bad Miss Marples. I guess it would all depend on the data entry method of the era. In 10 key number pads the 0 and the 9 are on opposite ends of the board. In a straight Dvorak layout the 9 and 0 are adjacent.

Data storage systems were not widely standardized back in the late 70's. So you raise one possible explanation. Just like many others have raised. More than likely SSA was using the IBM 3740 back then in larger branch offices and something much smaller in a local office.

I have to agree with the one posting about people who worked for years and not on the books.

Mostly the few I know are a family business or below min wage help (clearning ladies, babysitting/child caring, baking ops, does piece work from homes and janitors types that work for small businesses). It is possible. But I don't think the higher paying jobs and bigger companies could get away with it but...

I am sure the MSM blew right past this one, eveidently, so it is up to the little guy again to wage battle--that they most likely will never see an acceptable ending.

It is my firm belief the likelihood for human error coupled with many first hand inconsistencies voiced by other members could EASILY explain the ambiguity.

I tried using the sloppy handwriting excuse my Freshman year of college when I landed on academic probation. It was definitely the teacher's fault or the person entering the data.

I did do some Google searches. It appears that Google fixed its snippet issue.

Now, it didn't put the WND story first but it did have this one from Western Jouralism titled (NoteL no date could be ascertained as to when put out):

To me the question isn't so much about the Connecticut SS# (although I agree it is an interesting rabbit hole to dig into), but more why does our President have so MANY different SS#'s?

I would suspect that 99.9999% of US citizens only have 1 SS#. To have 2 SS#'s is questionable, but to have many is a serious cause for law enforcement concern.

How on earth did he get a paying job at 12/13? He was born in 1961. The year is 1974 that would make him like 12/13. Isn't that like a violation of child labour laws somehow?

Also, since when does Social Security Admin reserve a select list of numbers for a particular state? Typically you are assigned the next availible number.
