From what I'd read this bill was passed in hopes of curbing their crime rates. Property crimes are huge there and place a heavy burden on state resources and sky rocketing insurance rates...
While no, not all Illegal’s commit all crimes there, Illegal’s are responsible for a large proportion of said crime... I can’t say as I blame AZ for doing what they can to protect their citizens, can you?

You have no Idea how economics works do you...

All the money each person gets whether is by leaching or hard work go right into all the shops and businesses in Arizona.

What you honestly think those doctors don't get paid for the work they do?

What about the money from bail, or traffic infractions, parking?

1. There will be no special bilingual programs in the schools, no special ballots for elections, and all government business will be conducted in our language.

4. Foreigners will not be a burden to the taxpayers. No welfare, no food stamps, no health care, nor any other government assistance programs.

5. Foreigners can invest in this country, but it must be an amount equal to 40,000 times the daily minimum wage.

6. If foreigners do come and want to buy land that will be okay, BUT options will be restricted. You are not allowed to own waterfront property. That property is reserved for citizens naturally born into this country.

7. Foreigners may not protest; no demonstrations, no waving a foreign flag, no political organizing, no "bad-mouthing" our president or his policies. If you do you will be sent home.

8. If you do come to this country illegally, you will be hunted down and sent straight to jail.

The above laws happen to be the immigration laws of MEXICO!

Our laws in the states are not this harsh but if we would enforce them, there would be no illegal immigration. That is what Arizona and possible Ohio is doing. Making legal for them to enforce OUR laws.

And how are they getting these homes and mortgages? Identity theft is a huge problem in Arizona. I know, because it happened to me while I lived there for over 7 years. Crime is a huge problem in Arizona. If it isn't because of illegal drugs, it is because of illegal immigrants! Or both!

The estimated Illegal Immigrant population of Arizona is at 475,000....

I'd say each illegal immigrant generates around 2 dollars a day in Taxes, sales and such.

and around 1 dollar in federal income take under a fake social number a day.

So 3 X 675,000 (because estimates are always under when it comes to these thing) = a loss of around $2,025,000 dollars day in one month that will be $60,750,000 dollars completely lost from the State of Arizona.....Each month.

Those laws are not harsh at all.

It's called protecting your people from foreigners dude.

Look at those laws, look at them and tell me you do not wish your country did not do the same.

I have nothing against the Arizona law buddy, I'm just trying to point out that the time for enforcing immigration is long gone. Your screwed.

If you really want every Mexican out of America pass a law saying that every iligal immigrant gets payed 3X more than an American does. and if a company is found to have illegal immigrants working the company must pay each illegal worker 3 million dollars.

No company in America would find it profitable to employ Illegal immigrants and they would be forced to go home.

Thank you for that post, yes here in Ga you can buy yourself an identity for 500 dollars in one littler town.

I am Latina and have no problem voicing my displeasure with illegal immigration and that is the way is going to be.

I have the education, experience (with illegals through public schools and working with a migrant worker lawyer) and I have done my research, illegal immigration is hurting our nation plain and simple.

And for the poster that is calling others Ignorant for( not knowing economics) I also have education in that subject. . .

You keep saying our government isn't doing anything about it yet we now have one state that has passed the law and two more approaching similar laws and Im sure the rest of the States will follow.

You do realize that our Federal Government is not supposed to regulate our State laws according to our Constitution? Yeah, we have ben complacent but now we are doing something about it and people like you just want to scream and kick and cry about it because now we ARE doing something about it. the federal income tax goes to nothing but interest to a private Bank.

Illegals try to stay on the down low, they do their best to stay under the radar and work where they can.

Legal Mexicans are the ones you should be worried about. they are the ones with rights and mooch of your prison system, get spit right back out after a crime and do it all over again.

I live in Kentucky. Do you have any idea where that is in the US? Just about right down the center line of the country. Almost equidistance from either the north or south border. In the City I live in, we have BORDER PATROL STATIONED AT OUR POLICE HEAD END STATION! Why? Because there are four apartment complexes in a two square mile radius that have been overrun by illegal Mexicans and illegal Cubans that have brought with the prostitution, Crack, Coke, Marijuana and Gangs.

Is this your own personal opinion, or have you got any statistics to back it up?

Now go ahead and try to prove this one, because the crimes commited by illegals can't be proven, because if they are involved in something really bad, that is when they will move back home to avoid being brought to justice, or they go back and forth commiting crimes with ease. THAT IS part of the problem with illegals!
