Good point, but If I what if post say the famous picture of the Vietnamese guy getting shot in the head at the end of Vietnam by an American GI and then say 'You will end up like this BTW this is not a threat'. How is that not a threat? Why is that still protected under freedom of speech? Wouldn't I then get paid a visit by our men in blue?

It is not a good news update when it is not factual. Revolutionislam was not hacked, and I really doubt that revolutionmuslim ever redirected there. It would be very funny if it had, but I doubt it ever did. Why would you believe the guy anyway?

Yep this was predictable, you mess with freedom on a popular show like South Park and it will be all over the internet in moments, spread throughout the forums and image boards where bored hackers might be spending their time.

For those who call anonymous terrorists, or thugs, well anonymous were i think a key instrument in exposing the abuses of the church of scientology. Of course lots of things are attributed to anonymous because anyone can use the name, so after all the publicity following their attacks on scientology they started to have some nasty stuff tagged onto the name.

How can you be a thug when you're standing up for what's right? The British called the 13 Colonies thugs when they chose to stand up for our freedoms. Thank God they did because if they didn't we'd have King George's face plastered all over our money rather than our own presidents. America is a mixing pot of religions and races, therefore people are bound to get ridiculed for their religion. But what makes this country great is we have the right to ridicule people. If the Muslims don't like it then they don't have to live in America.

They threatened the creators of South Park because they made fun of them. Wow big deal! Those people are just acting like a bunch of whiney toddlers throwing a temper tantrum because they mentioned their precious Mohammed in an episode of South Park. Then Comedy Central bends over backwards for the Muslims (religion that supports murder). CC LOOKS WEAK TOO BY GIVING IN TO THEIR DEMANDS!!!
I am a Christian and South Park makes fun of Christians all the time, but you know what I do? I simply ignore it or don't watch that particular episode. The Muslims need to grow up. They do not deserve special treatment just because they're Muslim. And I'll be a monkey's uncle if I let those crazy people take away my God given right of Freedom of Speech!

I loved that episode of South Park and i couldn't agree with the creators more, It's ok to make fun of ANYONE or ANYTHING except him? no thanks.

Anonymous did not hack it was bunch of Israeli's most probably thejidf.org. I cannot link to their website where they planned and listed details (tools for hacking/ propaganda posters) because it is against ATS T&C to link or post anything related to hacking. They are using several different forums asking people to participate and posting Israeli flags in support for raiding.

Why is it petty to spend your time fighting for free speech? The very fact they got so much attention shows this was a very productive act.

I suppose then you would be knowing better than someone who uses those boards and forums. If mods permit I can link to the hacking website and other forums where they are demanding people to participate but let me make this clear I would not be responsible for any hate speech or porn being displayed on those links.

U2U me with it. I'm interested to know, and I hope the mods can allow it as the information seems pertinent to the discussion. I will say that anon was involved beyond a shadow of a doubt as I was watching a number of forums in a few irc channels and got a few emails about it from RL friends.

also aware this all started because of ebaums and I am trying to be mindful of those rules so as not to get cancer.

Freespeech?how is hacking a site and changing it to suit your views freespeech?that sounds to me like the opposite.It was productive in the fact that the site has more views this past few days as someone has stated. Beyond that i dont think it has helped eitherside.

When a group silences another with threats of violence then they are suppressing free speech and must be stopped. Free speech is the right to say whatever you like as long as you don't hurt, or threaten to hurt anyone. The extremeist website broke this code and so should be taken down by anyone who loves free speech.

If the website had simply said that they were disgusted with the show, it should not of been aired etc then i would be against the site being hacked.

This is bloody amazing! All the crap that they said about Americans being stupid and dumbed down might be true...but as they are on American soil, they deserve what has happened. Islam will take over the world...PFFT!
