A time machine hahaha how naive are you!? A time machine...

..
...

It's a stargate, obviously.

The black holes are just a side effect of the flux capacitors reaching one point twenty-one jiggawatts before the dilithium matrix kicks in, it's nothing to worry about.

Here's the webcam of missing black hole, going missing (so to speak !)

www.cyriak.co.uk...

However, it has now been alleged that the reported helium leak was actually a cover story for a containment breach, after an artificially created micro black hole was reported as missing.

The problem I have with this is... they lied. Now, how can we ever trust what they say again?

Besides, I thought the first time it broke down was because of a busted magnet, and the second time was because of the bread crust falling through a vent.

so they all went to look for it with magnifying glasses and fishing nets.

It is in my mums washing machine. Keeps stealing my socks, but only 1 of them. ( It must be able to only absorb 50% of the surrounding mass. )

Hawkings eat your heart out.

Well its twin has been following me around for the last 15 years nicking all my plectrums. What a strange place that must be full of picks and socks.

Maybe all of your lost socks are at my place because I seem to have only one of all my socks

But seriously !
For a black hole to suck in anything it relies on gravity, right ?

For gravity you need alot of mass, right ?

I don't believe a mini black hole to be a massive object. This must mean it can't suck up anything because everything is more massive then the mini black hole. right ?

What!??!?! ok, you can't just throw a statement like that out there wihtout some kind of backing...c'mon cough up a link.

Hard to believe there are still peeps who haven't heard of John Titor, the alleged time traveler from 2036. But if so, Click Here

@UberL33t: Maybe the other side is simply our negative, although I'm sure they'd think we were.

Anyway all...doesn't everything from Universal size to molecular size display characteristics of black holes - this would include you and me...or maybe just me, lol?

Behold exhibit 1

Now behold suspect 1

Now you Sherlock Holmes out there you work out how and who committed this heinous crime

Did they look between the cushions of the couch in the lounge? Maybe it got stuck on the hooks in the Black Hole Vending Machine in the break room; someone got two for their dollar and didn't notice.

Seriously, I don't think black holes quite work this way. Not even miniature ones.

The LHC wasn't even accelerating particles when the break happened, they were just running diagnostic tests.

So, it's impossible for the LHC to have made a black hole during that time.

That being said, you all know that the LHC is actually a time machine, right?

And this is why I have a hard time coming back to ATS.

Which part? The reasoned skepticism, or the probable joke which could be interpreted as other madness?

Assuming that, as alleged, it was possible in 1967 to determine exactly how many holes it takes to fill the Albert Hall, don't you think it would be possible to notice one missing with today's more sophisticated technology, even if it WAS just a small one?

And with all those scientists just waiting for the collider to be fixed, saying to it in a massive chorus, "I'd love to turn you on...." Coincidence? I think not.

(In all seriousness, however, CERN scares me. A lot.)

So what you're suggesting is that what is actually inside black holes (www.abovetopsecret.com...) are an eternity of fields of strawberry? Above it floats Lucy, with Diamonds, the glittering remnants of stars...

Didn't the Beatles write a song out of discarded lyrics from other songs simply to make fun of people who analyzed their songs too deeply?

Well, perhaps that, or perhaps it really IS a time machine. After all, tomorrow never knows....

Sorry, I couldn't resist.

A missing black hole....I'll have to check and see if my mother-in-law was nearby.

Not saying there was a micro black hole, but, if one was created, it would sink to the center of the earth where it would eat quarks for about ten thousand years. Then it could catch electrons for another million years, then atoms until it had enough mass where it could swallow mass whole. From there the planet. So if a micro black hole was created don't even worry about it. By the time it eats the planet mankind will be living on some other world, or worlds.

Mmmmwwwaaahahahahaaaaa!

I have the other side of that (and many other) black hole! I have a vast collection of socks and unmentionables!

I'm holding them ransom for

1 MEEEEELLION DOLLARS!

There's no Balck Hole Missing...

They thought there were more Black Holes than there actually were because one Scientist was bending over at the time. The error occured once the Scientist stood back up.

Seriously though, How the hell does a Black Hole go missing? Does it turn White?

Where can it go?
What can it do?
What happens if you get it wet?

Is that a Black Hole in your pants or are you just happy to see me>?
