They can go ahead and send their blue helmets around. I guarantee that in the United States those blue helmets will have more than one hole in them. The armored vehicles will then become handy for local militias, and police forces.

I truly hope they are not that ignorant to come for the guns.

It will be very unpleasent if such a thing is ever attempted.

Time will tell tho,

What guns?
I don't own any guns.
Nor do any of my friends and neighbors.
My family members certainly do not own any guns.

Nor do I, or anyone else I know, have cases and cases of ammo, dozens of mags and stripper clips.

Yep, they'd just be wasting their time around here.

First and foremost, the United Nations has zero ability to take action upon American soil, unless invited in, through the President and Congress.

Secondly, if and when they try too mandate our policy, our President will have to answer to America, whether he wants to or not, for the most part.

Third, if and when the United Nations comes onto our soil, in order to take our arms, it will be because of the United States, using the National Emergencies Act.

Quote from : Wikipedia : National Emergencies Act

The National Emergencies Act (50 U.S.C. 1601-1651) is a United States federal law passed in 1976 to stop open-ended states of national emergency and formalize the power of Congress to provide certain checks and balances on the emergency powers of the President.

The act sets a limit of two years on states of national emergency.

It also imposes certain "procedural formalities" on the President when invoking such powers.

The perceived need for the law arose from the scope and number of laws granting special powers to the executive in times of national emergency (or public danger).

At least two constitutional rights are subject to revocation during a state of emergency:

The right of habeas corpus, under Article 1, Section 9;

The right to a grand jury for members of the National Guard when in actual service, under Fifth Amendment.

In addition, many provisions of statutory law are contingent on a state of national emergency, as many as 500 by one count.

It was due in part to concern that a declaration of "emergency" for one purpose should not invoke every possible executive emergency power that Congress in 1976 passed the National Emergencies Act. Among other provisions, this act requires the President to declare formally a national emergency and to specify the statutory authorities to be used under such a declaration.

There were 32 declared national emergencies between 1976 and 2001.

Most of these were for the purpose of restricting trade with certain foreign entities under the International Emergency Economic Powers Act (IEEPA) (50 U.S.C. 1701-1707).

Now, having said that, I fully encourage people to know ther Constitutional Law.

National Emergency Act : Know Your Law, When Law Is Suspended, and You May Be Arrested

I highly recommend anyone who wants to know just how corrupt the United Nations is, the video from the original post being made in 2006, watch the movie Lord of War.

Amazon Review :

The lethal business of arms dealers provides an electrifying context for the black-as-coal humor of Andrew Niccol's Lord of War.

Having proven his ingenuity as the writer of The Truman Show, and writer-director of Gattaca and the under-appreciated Simone, Niccol is clearly striving for Strangelovian relevance here as he chronicles the rise and inevitable fall of Yuri Orlov (Nicolas Cage), a Ukrainian immigrant to America who makes his fortune selling every kind of ordnance he can get his amoral hands on.

With a trophy wife (Bridget Moynahan) who's initially clueless about his hidden career, and a younger brother (Jared Leto) whose drug-addled sense of decency makes him an ill-chosen accomplice, Yuri traffics in death the way other salesman might push vacuum cleaners (he likes to say that alcohol and tobacco are deadlier products than his), but even he can't deny the sheer ruthlessness of the Liberian dictator (a scene-stealing Eamonn Walker) who purchases Orlov's "products" to expand his oppressive regime.

Niccol's themes are even bigger than Yuri's arms deals, and he drives them home with a blunt-force lack of subtlety, but Cage gives the film the kind of insanely dark humor it needs to have.

To understand this monster named Yuri, we have to see at least a glimpse of his humanity, which Cage provides as only he can. Otherwise, this epic tale of gunrunnng would be as morally unbearable as the black market trade it illuminates. --Jeff Shannon

And I highly recommend the following book about the United Nations.

Those countries that are permanent members of the United Nations Security Council, China, France, Russia, United Kingdom, and United States are the ones who violate any and all gun ban treaties the most, because they produce the most guns.

Quote from : Wikipedia : United Nations Securiy Council

The United Nations Security Council (UNSC) is one of the principal organs of the United Nations and is charged with the maintenance of international peace and security.

Its powers, outlined in the United Nations Charter, include the establishment of peacekeeping operations, the establishment of international sanctions, and the authorization of military action.

Its powers are exercised through United Nations Security Council Resolutions.

The Security Council held its first session on 17 January 1946 at Church House, London.

Since its first meeting, the Council, which exists in continuous session, has traveled widely, holding meetings in many cities, such as Paris and Addis Ababa, as well as at its current permanent home in the United Nations building in New York City.

There are 15 members of the Security Council, consisting of five veto-wielding permanent members (China, France, Russia, United Kingdom, and United States) and ten elected non-permanent members with two-year terms.

This basic structure is set out in Chapter V of the UN Charter. Security Council members must always be present at UN headquarters in New York so that the Security Council can meet at any time.

This requirement of the United Nations Charter was adopted to address a weakness of the League of Nations since that organization was often unable to respond quickly to a crisis.

For those that do not know it, Lord of War, is based upon real events.

And the man portrayed as "Colonel Southern", by three different actors, including the ever famous Donald Sutherland, was losely based upon Lieutenant Colonel Oliver North.

Quote from : Wikipedia : Oliver North : Other

North's role in the Contra scandal was echoed in the story of "Colonel Oliver Southern," in the 2005 film about Soviet arms dealer Yuri Orlov entitled Lord of War.

Who needs a drivers license? Millions of illegals drive our streets without them.

Most Americans are already terrorists, according to DHS.

Tax returns? Meh.

Your points are invalid.

Never underestimate the will, determination and anger of the masses. If you had ever lived in the USA or for that matter, the SOUTH USA, you'd understand that the last thing the Fed want to do is to ATTEMPT to take our guns.

God have mercy on the souls of those who TRY to take them. 'Nuff Said

Thats all talk Kozmo, and you know it!

Americans are typically known for over exagerating, the replies to this thread lend fruition to that remark.

All Talk? Obviously you don't know American History, allow me to provide your first lesson. This country was founded by a group of people that Brittan was sure was 'All Talk'. You know, that same country that created a penal colony called, what was it again? Oh yea.....AUSTRALIA.

But, I digress...your right, we're all talk. In fact we LOVE to talk, some of the best talkers in our countries history wrote a document that some of us have sworn to defend to the death. The bravest of us have done just that. But, since you are sure we're all talk and nothing else...let me provide one of the best pieces of 'talk' ever to be written by AMERICANS:

"But when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same Object evinces a design to reduce them under absolute Despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such Government, and to provide new Guards for their future security."

Here ended the lesson.

This may not stand up too well against the United Nations, but states are starting to draw the line!

From www.wnd.com...

By Bob Unruh
© 2010 WorldNetDaily

Wyoming has joined a growing list of states with self-declared exemptions from federal gun regulation of weapons made, bought and used inside state borders – but lawmakers in the Cowboy State have taken the issue one step further, adopting significant penalties for federal agents attempting to enforce Washington's rules.

According to a law signed into effect yesterday by Democratic Gov. Dave Freudenthal, any agent of the U.S. who "enforces or attempts to enforce" federal gun rules on a "personal firearm" in Wyoming faces a felony conviction and a penalty of up to two years in prison and up to $2,000 in fines.

WND reported just days ago when Utah became the third state, joining Montana and Tennessee, to adopt an exemption from federal regulations for weapons built, sold and kept within state borders.

A lawsuit is pending over the Montana law, which was the first to go into effect.

But Wyoming's law goes further, stating, "Any official, agent or employee of the United States government who enforces or attempts to enforce any act, order, law, statute, rule or regulation of the United States government upon a personal firearm, a firearm accessory or ammunition that is manufactured commercially or privately in Wyoming and that remains exclusively within the borders of Wyoming shall be guilty of a felony and, upon conviction, shall be subject to imprisonment for not more than two (2) years, a fine of not more than two thousand dollars ($2,000.00), or both."

And keep an eye on this!

From www.jonathanselby.com...(Please ignore the "rapture" stuff if you go to this site!)

The European Parliament is the parliamentary institution of the European Union (EU) and has been described as one of the most powerful legislatures in the world. "Recommendation 666" is an actual document of the Western European Union saying that it will be the "military muscle" of the EU. The WEU is made up of 10 full member nations (As is the anti-christ's one world government) and also establishes the senior ranking High Representative who has the power to call a council at any time, and to execute (quote) "emergency powers"

I really don't think that the US Government would let this ever happen, but then again, I wouldn't put anything past the current administration.

The UN Forces don't really realize what they would be up against if they ever tried this kind of action against America. IMO, it would be the bloodiest event in the History of the World.

In my fifty years in America, I know a lot of people that have a lot of guns and are heavily stocked up on ammunition. I've known them all my life and have enjoyed a many a day hunting with them.

The only way that these people would ever kill anyone is if their lives were in danger, or if TPTB ever tried to take away their Second Amendment Right and try to take their guns.

To the person in Australia: By reading your reply, I see that you really don't know how Americans are or what they would die for. It is hilarious that you would think we would just go along with something so incredibly ludicrous.

I think the World is wise enough to know that they should not mess with the Citizen's Right to own guns inside America, cause may God help them if they don't....

Far from over exaggeration. But of course an Australian would know more about Americans and what they think, right? No offense intended there honestly.
Come take my guns, please. One bullet at a time like was previously posted.
I genuinely look forward to the opportunity!

Hey, I'm Canadian, so i don't profess to know more about Americans that Americans do, but I have seen a lot of video on you tube showing the post Katrina door to door searches for guns, and you know what? I didn't see even one American shoot. All the cops have to say is you have child porn, or a record or that your a suspected "terrorist"....

Sorry to say, but my bet is that most Americans will roll over and take it up the tailpipe, then stand by as they watch it happen to others. I wish it were different, but it wont be.

The youtubes showing cops confiscating guns from old ladies and and such are a joke. That was propaganda. I guarantee you there were areas they did not even attempt to go to because they knew it would be a fight period. But of course that never made it to the news or youtube
