I know this is a little off topic but have you noticed that it seems to be a rotating wheel of hatred in which someone shows up and rants about this or that group? Seems a lot of conspiracies advocate a lot of the stuff at one time or another. I remember here recently it was anti-semitism, now it's homosexuality.

I agree, it's a cycle thing, people get all up in their panties with certain groups. I mean granted I started this one, it's not like I didn't know it would evolve into somewhat of a poo flinging match.

Mind you it's gone better than expected. I wonder what it will be next week?

Besides controversy breeds good conversation for the most part.

Luckily, there are 7 billion of us and the available energy reserves are hardly enough to keep us going another 70 years. so it can hardly be considered a defect, at least in the big picture of our current socioeconomic climate.

i read in one of the ancient texts, coulda been the bible, need to go find the reference, that there was a natural population control mechanism created specifically for that purpose and not by a human but by some god or council of gods or something. that's why i don't think it's devolution, but deliberate modification. unfortunately, if it is an over abundance of estrogen producing chemicals, it's also leading to many many female deaths from estrogen-based cancers. every one of the original charlie's angels, had breast cancer.

No, I am not comparing homosexuality with murder. As I think I stated very clearly in my earlier post ( read it, please), I am saying they are unnatural acts. Not equal, certainly, but unnatural and therefore unnacceptable.

reminds me a bit of the old argument about gays not making good parents too.

right because how many kids grow up in homes with a mum and a dad who get a rubbish upbringing from one, the other or both?

how many kids did we all go to school with who have been raised by single parents?

every person is different and some people have the 'motherly and fatherly qualities' whether they are gay or straight. similarly many REAL mothers and fathers have neither quality so which is worse, a gay couple raising a child or a straight couple who don't care about their child and treat it badly? well maybe the gay couple will be bad parents, but then that would be no worse than the straight couple. and maybe they will be good parents, in which case they are actually better.

it's almost impossible to know how good a parent will be until their child is born and raised to be an adult and there will be bad gay parents just like bad straight parents. iof there is however one quality which is likely to be common place in the gay community, it is likely to be that of teaching respect and tollerance to their children because they themselves know what it is like to be discriminated against.

also not only do gay people generally not have their own kids (i mean like have a woman impregnated as you see in tv shows lol) so not only do they not increase our already too large population, but their likely source of a child is foster homes and orphanages so they are taking some of the neediest forgotten kids out of care and giving them a place they can call home. straight people are often preocuppied by the selfish wanting of a kid they can call their own that they are generally won't even seriously consider adopting a child who needs it more and instead bring another mouth into the world to please themselves.

does that make straight people evil, NO, it is a very natural urge for people to wish to have truly their own kids. but practically speaking it's more of a disservice to humanity by producing more than it is to help the needy ones already here who are forgotten, which for obvious reasons is something gay people would be more inclined to do.

It will be ugly because everyone else will still blame whitey for all of their problems. Demand the continuation of affirmitave action, sue white people for racist actions. And it will still be impossible for whites to get government assistance in any way shap or form.

Nothing will change! The whites will still be persecuted for actions that took place over 200 years ago. The labels will not go away, and the current minorities which will be majorities will just have the power to treat the white people as unequally as they want.

I agree, I wasn't thinking of that metric when I initially put it in. My reasoning was that most southern states aren't as progressive as the northern ones, there was no intent to make it sound like I was singling out blacks or anything.

The chemical poison argument actually makes sense to me in that way. I agree that homosexuality is a thing of chemicals and hormones and obviously the more that we consume, the more likely we are to gravitate towards those sorts of ideals.

IMO it's also a genetic thing, but I have no proof of that.

Not sure it's conversation or even good. Case in point, there is nothing you could have said to that other gentleman that was going to make him change your mind that you weren't some evil whatever and stuff like this does stir the pot so to speak to do little more than work people up into a frenzy. But that is my opinion and I don't think anyone need listen to me.

It does belong on this site. Allegations of a gay agenda are allegations of a conspiracy. It's very simple.

Also: White people are not a minority in this country. Perhaps we are a minority by the numbers -- I'm not sure about that. But a minority in the relevant sense is a group that wields less power than the ruling group. So, in South Africa, even though they made up 90% of the population (or some such wild number), black people were a minority up until the end of Apartheid, and probably still are.
