One4all, I agree with your statements.

I know I was invited, but I also know I had to agree. I think I "agreed" when I listened to the instructions being given. The instructions have actually helped me. I agreed to listen as long as they weren't harmful.

Now, there might have been times when I have been asleep, and I agree that you can't get permission from someone who is asleep. But, that grey room time was when I was fully awake and aware of what was going on. I CHOSE to listen and follow directions.

I later heard of other family members who did not listen, or did not follow the instructions fully. I agree that being awake, you had to choose.

Like you, I know I can disagree. I have not felt injured or hurt by this experience, but after such a long time I am annoyed because I have been in a "waiting" state for so long. I'm tired of waiting and I'm not even sure what I'm waiting for fully (actually, I know why but not "when"). I never have been overly fond of waiting.

I have always thought that they didn't expect me to see them. They seemed surprised/shocked that I could. I heard them speaking to each other telepathically but I don't know if they knew that. Until I saw them, I would have thought this was a spiritual thing...but seeing those beings made me realize this was something completely different.

I know we have free will, otherwise NotThat wouldn't have been able to leave the state and move near me.

I'd still say this was an overall positive experience. However, that woman in the book who said she thought they were nice but then again, wasn't sure she should believe them fully....she stated my feelings exactly.

How odd! I was just recently perusing a world map and was surprised that New Zealand was NOT on the NW side of Australia. I've always remembered it being there too!

Sometimes I wonder if what Waiting2, NotThat and others of us are waiting for has actually happened - perhaps many times - and we have either residual memories or instinctive, inherited knowledge (like migrating birds or spawning fish).

Numerous people waking at odd hours and set times. A growing number believing New Zealand is 'in the wrong place' (perhaps NZ really is somewhere else in a very similar reality?) Non-religious people coming forward to say they too are waiting for something.
Normally straightforward people like me driven to study the universe and research quantum mechanics while emptying my brain of all 'useless' info?

What if exceptionally close human-based realities naturally merge (or are deliberately merged) at times of universal crisis or fracture? What if this involves some kind of grey room transference - which you are not supposed to remember (Waiting2 speaks of the suspected aliens' surprise that she could see them).

And why do some of us have this sense of utter calm while at the same time feeling we are hiding from something?

I have also wondered about the connections. I tried to figure out connections in another thread but no one really responded.

The map differences thread spurred this thread and made me come out of "hiding."

When I think back on why I was hiding, I had a fear that I would be taken away and studied because I can hear the voice. Because I can "hear", I knew that other people were trying to fake the connection I had with the voice. I have a sense that government entities/someone powerful knows about the voice because every now and then there would be "tests" pretending to be the voice. (It's a pretty unique voice.)

I was also aware the something about my aura or my energy was different....heightened, I'd say. Stronger maybe??? Purer???? Cleaner??? I don't know. Different.

I was afraid that "bad guys" would want to fight me. This isn't fight in the literal sense like a fistfight. Like a magnet with two poles, my energy was on one side and "bad guys" were on another. When someone with strong energy was near, I would feel them long before I saw them, as if our energies clashed somehow. There's something about my energy that they want. I don't know how, but I was able to mask it so "they" would be confused and not know it was me even when I was right there. I needed to keep myself safe. It wasn't that I couldn't fight them, it was just that it wasn't time yet. (Besides, I really don't want to fight.)

I know this all sounds strange and doesn't make much sense, but I'm sure there are others besides NotThat who know exactly what I'm talking about.

So I stayed under the radar. NotThat was more open.

That map thread somehow told me it was safe for me to start this thread and begin looking for others. I don't know WHY it was suddenly safe. I just knew it was "time."

Hiding keeps you safe until the time is right. Exactly why you feel the need to hide and when that safe time will be I have no idea. If you look deep into yourself, you may find the answer, at least "why."

In one of my "knowings," I have seen that there will be a time when cars, Internet, electricity won't work. Communication world-wide will cease. I couldn't fathom WHY this would happen, I just "knew" it would. I also don't know exactly when except for "soon."

On CNN today, a physicist talked about solar storms. The last one happened in 1850s sometime. They happen about every 100 years so we're overdue for another. When it happens, it'll wipe out all satellites and communication all over the planet. The scientist said that when the solar storm hits, food production will cease causing world-wide panic (no electricity=no processed food for example).

I find it significant/odd that the mass media/government is starting to talk about scenarios that I have "known/seen" since 1994.

The gaps are getting filled in. I guess this means the time is getting closer.

Waiting2, I find it really odd that we both saw the Australia thread as an indicator that it was suddenly more "safe" to come out of hiding, as an experiencer of unexplainable things. Though I may not feel as safe as you do, it was a big step for me to actually create an account here and post truthfully as myself, instead of divulging things solely in the guise of fiction. That Oz thread made me feel how I imagine a person snapped out of hypnosis would feel, though never having been hypnotized (to my knowledge), I can't really confirm that it's anything like that.

Yes, yes, yes! The feeling of "snapping out of it" was the same thing I felt, or like a switch had turned off. It was like something was "over" so it was suddenly okay.

I know this is all vague (What is "it"? What was "over"?). I honestly have no idea. It drives me crazy when I talk like this.....It all makes sense to me and yet none of it makes sense. Perhaps you can relate as someone who is "an experiencer of unexplainable things."

This is way out there (so bear with me), but your post made me wonder if there isn't more to your idea. I was immediately attracted to the words "Australia in the wrong place" but I had to see it to believe it. Once I saw the map, I was in shock. NotThat felt the same way. I even went as far as to double and triple and quadruple check maps on the Internet and maps at home. Although I had been reading ATS for a while, that thread let me know it was somehow finally safe enough to sign up and post my own thread about our experiences.

...Back to your idea. What if that Australia thread or those key words or that change in the map was an "awakening" of sorts? Like some sort of message (or mistake?) to let us know our reality is a bit different than we thought.

I tried figuring out what we all had in common (those of us who knew the map was wrong), but my comments/questions kept getting lost amongst the angry naysayers. So, I have no real idea except that some people thoughout the world, including Australia, KNEW that the world map was different.

When you talked about safety, I know exactly what you mean. For me, it was just time to stop hiding....as much. I knew there were others out there hiding, others with similar stories to my own. I was tired of "waiting" and knew there were others waiting, too. I decided to risk it and post my experience. I wanted answers.

I have received some answers, but I find myself having even more questions. Is the map change related to my experience in the grey room? I have no idea. Oh, and to my knowledge, I've never been hypnotized, either.

I have had a similar incidence like yours but different. This came to me like a dream but I do not remember actually sleeping that night that and nothing in the dream felt dream like. In mine it wasn't a happy when the "dream" began I remember a voice telling me that i am going away for a couple of weeks because I had no choice and it would not explain as far to what I had done. As it started i remember walking through a bright hallway with my father who looked as if he were in a daze (like he was there but not ) into a door my father was told he had to stay behind as i entered. Through the door I entered a large room with two smaller rooms separated by glass like screens (I say glass like because it was very tough but thin and had a glowing crystal like reflectivity). in the center of the room was a small stone like circle in the middle. When I looked back toward the door I entered trough there was nothing there. Including me there must have been at least a hundred+ people in there but we were all the same age (17 I'm now 24). As the days passed food would appear on the circle table and as soon as it appeared the food would disappear as a mad rush of us would try to get our hands on it. This would quickly turn into a huge brutal fight for food and the whole incident reminded me of what it must be like to be an animal. We were literally killing each other over food it was horrible. I believe it was a dream but it seemed so real, like i was really there trying to survive. In the dream the two weeks went by like an eternity, and I felt like my past life was of no consequence and I was simply just surviving. When the time ended the door reappeared but no one else seemed to notice a man in a suit came out and told me my time is up and I can leave (nobody seemed to notice him either). He then escorted me through the door where my father was waiting on the other side still looking as if he were in a daze. Then all I remember was being in a parking lot during the day (this was in az so i can remember feeling the the heat from the sun as it were if I were awake) and getting into his car and going home.

if anyone had a similar incident pleeeeaaassseee tell me this has bothered me for quite some time now.

I think the best thing to do would be to copy what you wrote to me and create your own thread. You, too, are looking for answers. If you create a thread, I think you may find them. There has to be someone out there who knows something.

lol I gotta wait on that it isn't like the classic albino blacksheep forums from back in the day RIP. I do find your story very interesting. A lot of it sounds to me like an inside of a ship and how it would be if people first started to move to the extrasolar planets. Like a futuristic mayflower. Perhaps you are being experimented on to see if maybe one of your decedents came fair the journey? Call it the Mayflower Experiment?

I have no idea. We "knew" we were "special," but I have read other accounts from people who have had contact with aliens that they were told they were "special," too. I wasn't involuntarily taken. I have no idea what all of it meant. I do believe I was on a ship....or on another planet. The place I was in was other-worldly.

As for your own story, I still suggest you create your own thread and write about it. It may help you find answers. Although no one has yet come forward talking about being there the same time I was, I have found people who have been to a similar room. I have heard from other people who are hearing a particular voice or are doing similar things. In other words, this thread has been EXTREMELY helpful.

Creating your own thread may help you find others like yourself since you know there were others there with you. Good luck!

This is very interesting, thanks for sharing your account. I have a few questions if I may.....

1, You mentioned that everyone was holding something, you won't tell us what it was, why not?
It may give a clue as to why you were there.
2, You had to pass several tests to get there, what were these tests and who administered them?
3, Was this facility run by humans or were there other entities there?
4, How did you get back from the facility?
5, Since you were concsious, was the friend that accompanied you, with you before you went to the facility, and again with you when you'd returned?
6, How much time had passed?
7, Hundreds of people were there and they were all excited. How did you feel while there?

Quite a few questions! I hope you don't mind. This is really interesting and I hope you find the answers you are looking for. I have never been to the "Grey room" but for some reason what you have described resonates with me alot. Your description really captivated me in kind of the same way that deja vu does, as if I have seen what you have described but forgotten it. Perhaps I'm recalling something from a dream or a movie that had similar surroundings. I look forward to your answers and hope that I am able to help you shed some light on the subject.

One thing I might suggest for now would be to keep a phone with you that has a camera on it just incase the next time it happens you could get a picture or video. That I would LOVE to see

I don't think so. We were mostly too old to eat. Older people are too full of chemicals and toxic stuff. Old meat is too tough.

Um, no. Didn't see reptilians. Saw tall beings, looked more like greys except way taller.

Sterilization chamber? No. It was a huge meeting hall. A gathering place. I know for a fact that I was not sterilized. If you mean "cleaned", there was no spray, no washing, no mist, nothing like that. This was definitely NOT a sterilization chamber.

As for waiting to be eaten, no again. Wasn't eaten.

From what you are suggesting, your knowledge/experience is quite different from my own experience. Perhaps there are such chambers out there. In our case, though, that's not what the grey room was.

I still keep hoping we'll run across someone else who has been to the same room at the same time we were there, but I honestly don't think we will.

You're right. The thread is pretty lenghy. I'm glad you understood that I meant it kindly when I said you should read the posts first.

You said the thread strikes a cord with you. In my own experience, I find that someone will make a comment and it's as if a light is suddenly turned on in my head, a light I never even knew existed. Perhaps something I said did that for you. I don't know why it happens, but when it does I'm grateful for it because it's one more tiny piece of a huge puzzle that I'm trying to solve.

What amazed me was hearing about other people who have seen "people" who weren't human. People who disappeared in the middle of the street.

When I mentioned the yellow guy on page 14 of this thread (I think), no one really responded to that at all. I thought that was a unique experience. Now I'm realizing that other people have experienced an unusual looking person wearing the wrong clothes and disappearing. I wonder exactly what part they play in all of this??
