I only have a few thoughts....

Why she would go willingly to the beach does seem pretty important.

I don't know much about the case. At the time I was thinking, Man, look at all these reporters jumping at the chance to go on a paid working trip to Aruba!

My first thought, strangely, was wondering what her educational background was, and if maybe she was going in deep cover herself and needed to be dead - but no, that would be way too public. lol So my first 'psychic' impressions were 'deep dark cover, human trafficking' which would actually fit with your scenerio, if she died. For what that is worth. I'm not psychic.

Was she there more than a few nights so that she'd be familiar with the beach? Who doesn't go down to the beach one of the first nights on vacation?

THEN
What was the beach there like? I've been on islands where the beach was so bloody dark that it was terrifying. You get lost - and the high dunes would make it worse, because if they are present, you can't see landmarks.
And was the moon out?

So, if she'd been there a few days and had went to the beach, and it was one of those dark beaches, especially if it were a darker moon - then I think you can just about bet any GUY wouldn't suggest it, and any GIRL wouldn't think of it either.

No, they'd go to an apartment for sex. Plus sex on the beach is very public - I don't think this girl would be that much of an exhibitionist to want to go have sex on the beach willingly. The only way she MIGHT go, is for a simple WALK on the beach. Then again, how that beach is at night would be very important - and it was late. Geez, most beaches that late are no good for walking. South Beach maybe is the only one I can think of. lol

Ya, because things like that never happen anywhere else. It must be some evil little island.

So many girls go missing right here in Florida that it is mind-boggling! And what is worse, is that I can't believe it doesn't happen more often.

I was once driving home from a bar in Tallahassee, and I saw a pair of feet sticking out of a bush. It was late and there was no traffic so I eased past real slow and saw pretty legs, a skirt and panties? I pulled over and there was a very cute unconscious 18 or 19 year old girl, ass-up in the bushes!!

I called the police and started trying to wake her up. Turns out she was perfectly fine, just very drunk and passed out walking home from the bar!

Aruba is probably not a bad place at all. There are naive people everywhere, and there are bad people willing to take advantage of them just about everywhere.

Don't nuke it just yet!

Sadly I also think that she has passed on. It must be so hard for her family to not have any answers. The wondering must be heart braking. My thoughts and prayers are with them! The joran guy is a piece of garbage and so is the government over there and the cops and all the other people playing a part in this. You are right, KARMA is a beotch and it will come back to bite all of them in their sorry A$$E$. What a truely sad story!

You people hear one side of the story.. We have never in our history put so much effort in finding one person before. All government workers where given days off to help look for her. F16's where brought over from the Netherlands to look for her. We have never done that even for our own people who have gone missing (recently an 84 year old black man with dimentia wandered away) Start thinking about that before you type anything about Karma... Posts like yours are an insult to me.

I appreciate the kind words and the continied support my friends! I know this case can be emotionally pulling, but we need to remember that not everyone is guilty on the island of Aruba. Wishing harm to go to others is not something that is acceptable, seriously now. Nuking an entire island? Probably not the best idea. Lets tone it down and think with our heads and our rationale, rather than our hearts and impulse. It is better to see things with your eyes open then halfway closed.

Now lets get back on track...

Again...thx for the care and cocern in keeping this alive, even if Natalie may be gone.

Does everyone remember, after the FOX whitewash with JVS, after which 3 of the 4 talking heads stated that they believed JVS was, indeed, innocent?

Then taco was invited on board to verbally threaten the internet and the world with lawsuits should anyone dare to so much as say the his man was still guilty?

Man, I will NEVER FORGET that montage...It is exactly the same way that good people are cemented as being evil, through lawyers and money, of course, and more importantly, through the writing of history....

I am thinking here of Jesus Christ. It's very simple. According to law, and jews, he was simply a heretic who stood trial and rec'd. standard punishment for being a heretic.

That's no small error, is it, to worship law and it's corrupt arts, and to stamp that corruption on the minds and memories for all time?

I'm so glad that Jesus forgives these bastards. Now we can live under their yoke all the days of our lives.

I do not forgive them. I am showing God my anger and disgust for having done so. Why must this perversion prevail???

How does JVS support himself? Who paid the lawyers? Did the kalpos benefit monetarily as well? That had to have been hush money, in case the threats they received were considered too risky in and of themselves.

Man, I love your posts. I have been reading them all and they are intriguing to me! Thanks for sharing. I wanted to throw something by you in response to your reply in this thread.

you'll find out from ats that we are going to nuke the island before hand so you can your loved ones can escape, but islands like that, everyone is on the same payroll, and from the interviews how the cops wannet money to give basic serivice, this is not just a deal between 2 - 3 people, most likely this was a entire group of people maybe 20 - 40 from the bar tender slippin in the drink, to the taxi driver, eaither you guys are to weak to speak against this corrupted people, or you guys are getting a good chuck of money to keep quiet

why don't you tell your dad to do something against this, or did he tell you to not get involed?

Please read this again:

Post above

Back on track--

Anyway, for those of you who u2u'ed me about Paulus Van Der Sloot you can find that he died here:

The chief suspect in the case is Joran van der Sloot. Yesterday Joran's father Paulus van der Sloot suddenly and unexpectedly died. Paulus was a huge part of this case. Joining us by phone in Aruba is Julia Renfro, editor and chief of "Aruba Today." Good evening, Julia, and tell me what happened with Paulus?
Paulus Van Der Sloot

I thought that half of the world knew about this news. I guess not, but it is a sad thing to have someone die like that. So please do not say it's a good thing that this man died, because it's not. Respect the fallen

Anyway, there is more investigation into Paulus being in the Excelsior Hotel the night that Holloway disappeared:

The possible involvement of Paulus with that could then be deducted from the file with the official reports of witnesses, amongst which two people suggested a contact existed between Paulus and Natalee Holloway the night of her disappearance, and a taped report (that was given by the Prosecutor in her final note 1 to the Court). The taped information and his declaration that he picked up Joran and Natalee by the McDonalds Palm Beach and brought them to the Holiday Inn, are clearly understood by the Dept. of Justice, and could in the judgement of this Superior Court, be considered as an indication of the involvement of Paulus in the disappearance of Natalee Holloway.”

BETH HOLLOWAY TWITTY: Oh -- oh, it`s a very critical detail. And the night that we arrived on the island -- you know, Jug does not misinterpret a 4:00 AM time pickup to 11:00 PM. I mean, Paulus Van Der Sloot stated that he picked them up up at 4:00 AM on May the 30th. Then -- we don`t know who they were, but then even as far as June 16 and June 17, Mr. Van Der Sloot was still stating this 4:00 AM pickup. Only until around -- maybe it was when he was picked up or arrested did he change it to 11:00 PM that I had knowledge of.

Roy Tromp - lead Investigator
Paulus van der Sloot's Interrogator
CBS NEWS
August 5, 2005

Tromp said investigators believe van der Sloot, who turns 18 on Saturday, is the prime suspect and that he had some assistance from his father, Paul, an apprentice judge on the island. "We believe something went wrong with the girl, and the first person you are going to call is your daddy," said Tromp. "In this case, daddy would know exactly what to do." Tromp, who declined to provide details about exactly what investigators believe happened to Holloway, said that Paul van der Sloot has also changed his account the night Holloway vanished. "Why should you do that if you are telling the truth?" he said.

While the sources are from a Blog, the quotes have been documented and are in video feeds from their respective persons.

It still makes many wonder and me included, what Paulus knew... Sadly, we will never know.

For what it's worth, I think everybody who has read "these" posts are offended. They are absurd and ignorant. You know it. We know it.

A girl was murdered or disappeared while on an Island. The laws are different there. The good people of Aruba did everything they could.

Most of us know that, well, all of us know that except for a couple of people.

I suspect that Aruba may be a victim as well as Natalie.

I'm not saying that human traffickers NEVER target Americans, but in my experience in the Carribean, Americans are generally afforded a bit of respect because OF the govt we have. Like, a lot of criminals, given the choice, would pick on a girl from some less developed nation vrs. the USA.

IF you wanted to get back at Aruba in the pocketbook, what a better way to do it? And if you picked a white, blonde, young pretty fairly well to do girl, well it would be bound to be high profile, and you could always say "Oh, she was blonde - the human traffickers really like the blondes."

Why Natalie?

Very Astute!

My experience in the Caribbean and in Mexico is similar. Even in Haiti and Jamaica, the Americans were given a lot of latitude by the locals and by the police. They thrive off American money, and they don't want any bad press.

Was this then a political move? A retribution? A warning? Was Natalie convenient, or was she the specific target?

Myth, I tried to find some stuff online and there is about a million different perspectives on how this played out. I even found a headline that said the case was solved only to find out that it was a ridiculous attempt at tying everything together. My hope is for her to be found one way or the other and that the perpetrators are served a double helping of justice. As for me looking into this any further, I cannot. My prayers are with her, wherever she may be.

Don't let your daughter go to Aruba especially if she is a slut, lesson learned. The best evidence there is, is the short segment with the two friends fighting shortly after detainment, and the truck video. Joran states that he trusts his friend whom he releases the evidence to as much as he trusts his friend who took the girl out to sea. He also states that he contacted that man via a payphone. Remember, he was only 17 at the time.

Let's lose the human trafficking accusations that's stupid. It may be what he is divulged into now, but it just wasn't the case back then. He was 17 for God sake. There was probably alot of liquor and E involved. The girl wanted to have sex, they went to the beach and she OD'd on E shortly after or during the sexual encounter.

His buddies were close by, he told them the news and concluded he must call his contact. Went to the payphone, and explained the situation to the contact. The man met up with them and disposed of the body. She is dead.

Human trafficking is not the case here even though he may be involved in it now. His friend (Shortly after detainment) said, "If they find her, you'll get 15 years for this." Somebody (Because I can't find the information online) Needs to find out how many years you get for murder in Aruba. (Check if underage cause he was 17) and all the ins and outs including accessory to murder. Either way, She died, was disposed of and now serves as an example for all the young sluts that plague today's society. Everyone takes the girl's side, how ignorant of you all. A good investigation will consider all possible angles.

I find it a bit odd that his friend would be aware of a 15 year sentence for anything. When you were 17 did you have a mental list of possible sentences for crimes or is 15 the max for murder in Aruba? Just seems like an odd thing to say.

Hey Myth, Great job mate as usual, one thing I would like to ask is: Does Natalee's Mother know that this has been posted on ATS and is she reading the posts by other members. If so I would like to say to her to stay strong and I hope her little girl is ok and that maybe some day soon she will return home. Also a friendly reminder to all the posters on this thread that if Natalee's Mum is keeping an eye on what's being written, please respect her feelings before you put your thoughts to paper, and I personally would like to think that maybe some good can come of this one, and just maybe there's a chance Natalee will be found healthy and returned.

Take care Myth, this ones leaves a lump in my throat mate.

Good Job

I was on vacation and staying at the Holiday Inn when this all happened and I think that the comment about the Holiday Inn staff having any idea what those kids were on or not is laughable. While I was there all of kids were acting like normal high school kids that landed in a country where they were now able to drink legally. My wife and I were laughing at the pool bars because you would hear guys ordering "sex on the beach" or other mixed drinks that they only knew by name. I don't even think they had a clue what kind of liquor they were drinking. They were getting drunk and in my opinion no one was keeping an eye on how much they were consuming (the staff at the Holiday Inn and the chaperones. I just don't see how anyone would have known if they were on drugs unless they were the ones supplying them.

The case was obviously mishandled from the very beginning. The police work made no sense at all. I mean as an outsider looking in, it seemed like they had no training or idea how to deal with this situation.
I honestly think that people thought this wouldn't blow up into a huge media storm and that it would just go away.

Now the people of Aruba themselves were great. There were a lot of people taking their own time to try and help out. Over the years I've seen a lot of people bashing the county and I think that they are way out of line. The citizens have no control over how their police operate. Aruba is a beautiful country and the people there have always been wonderful.

A few things that have always bothered me:

1. The fact that no one was really watching over these kids. I would have thought that they would have done head counts each night to make sure everyone was back safe.

2. I do not know a single female friend that would allow another female to leave a bar alone, let alone get in a car with a couple of guys.

3. Joran - This kid just comes across like a complete piece is Sh#@. His attitude, his little smiles and the countless lies.

Paulus death for me means one down, three to go. Joran and his two buddies will eventually run into karma.

How rediculous to side with a victim and her family, rather than a killer?

Yes, we must all be nuts.

And where the hell do you get off calling this girl a slut? This was a teenage girl on her high school graduation trip, trying to have a good time. Apparently this time it involved a flirtation with a guy in a bar with whom she made the mistake of leaving. It unfortunately turned out to be a fatal error.

She paid for drinking too much, and her very likely temporary poor judgment with her life. Unlike you, the great Paradox, who never made a mistake in his entire life.

Yet here you are.....dude.....continuing to blame her, persecute and accuse her. Someone of whom you have no knowlege.

And to now say she only "serves as an example of what happens to sluts".
Wow. You are one cold dude. Not that I believe for one minute that he didn't give a date rape drug, or knowingly leave her dying on the beach after he raped her.

He was only 17?

Please. Even a five year old knows to go get help when one of their playmates is injured on the playground. And this 17 year old boy didn't have the sense to call for help? Sure he did. He was too much of a coward to face what he had done.

Why don't you start up a Joran Van der Sloot fan club? Show the world how much you admire coward-killers.

Yes I can see how you have come to your conclusions. You certainly are a good investigator. I can sleep easy now knowing that you have bestowed upon us all your wisdom in this matter.

Being a good investigator, how have you come to the conclusion that she was what you say she was? Or was this simply a stereotype that resides in the deep recesses of your mind that was planted some time ago? Possibly by some young and pretty women that have jilted you?

Being a good investigator, I'm sure you have solid proof of the accusations that you have made. Unless of course, you are generalizing based on past experiences in your bitter life? You are right about thinking of every possible angle.

Remember, he was only 17 at the time.

Being supportive of a young, rich and aggressive male leads me to think that you are partial to this type of individual. Again, I'm sure you have evidence of this persons innocence in this matter, being a good investigator. Unless of course, you are partial to this type of individual for a reason. Something in the deep recesses of your mind that really draws you to that individual and makes you want to proclaim his innocence?

A good investigation will consider all possible angles.

You really should get a grip on who and what you are. It would make you an even better investigator. Unless of course you are fine with being a sadistic personality with identity problems.

how ignorant of you all

Again, thanks for letting us know how ignorant we were in this matter.
