Personally, although I think the darker option looks cooler, I find it easier to read against a light background.

So I'm going to have to go with light.

Dark please.
Not only is it easier to read, but also uses less energy, and well even though global warming isn't entirely true, can't we all try and do our bit to put less strain on the planet!?

I'm easy guys, as long as I can read the page I'm happy.

The dark template is much better for me. I try to adjust all the sites I read to the dark background format due to my positive experience on ATS.

Dark is better. I've tried light and it hurts eyes.

I can read copy on most all colors (except blur on red and green) but I like light on dark...

Dark like my mother-in-laws heart. Well maybe not that dark!

I have a very strong preference for dark. I find it much easier on the eyes, especially for any extended period of time. It's a great design feature too, befitting the mysterious & the mystifying.

I much prefer black myself, though I can go either way. It's much easier on the eyes, and doesn't quite light up my surroundings as much. It is very much preferred to light.

Light - enlighten us. Lead us out of eternal darkness.

Thank you.

Definitely Dark!! It doesn't hurt my eyes as bad as the glare from the light does.
Do the Dark!

Dark ,although it would be neat to have the option to choose between.

Like a skin select. But Dark should be the default.

Screens are most often bright as opposed to paper which doesn't glow.

Gotta go with dark. It's easier on my eyes, and as many hours as I spend staring at this godforsaken website, I think my optometrist would approve.

The darker side seems to have better contrast for me.

Dark is easier on my eyes.

I vote dark meat (It's got more nutrients anyways, and better taste).

Dark Meat

Preferably a leg (chicken...not human).

Out of both presentations I prefer Dark.
