Do you feel better now that you have admitted this act in a public forum?

Did you also have a mullet and a belt buckle the size of Rhode Island at the time too?

Enquiring minds need to know.

On topic - I agree, disgusting but par for the course in the heady world of marketing to children these days. I've always felt that too about the beauty pageants for little girls that have them made up like a dogs dinner to be dribbled over by pedos and pushy parents.

i wonder how long till they start making lingerie for babies?

This is not lingerie. As Crakeur stated, the news story used that word to get people's interest. And man! Did it work!

This line is for newborn to 14-year-olds.

Great analogy. I wore some pretty crazy things as a child, too, trying to be more grown up. Kids have been doing it forever.

I'm still looking for clothing in this line that's actually sexually suggestive.

Yeah, I take back my post now. I thought it was lingerie - adult like ones.

But when I was a kid, I used to strut around in my mum's high heels because I saw her do it. If children see their parents buying lingerie or wearing them (which I hope they have not), they probably would want to copy them as to many, parents are their closest friends, the trend setters to them.

But still, I think this line, even though unappropriate, will encourage children to at a early age become interested into these doo-das. Haha.

I mean the designer shouldn't even be thinking about it at that age. Play with some Barbie dolls or something.

Alright! Did you see the pics of the girls wrapped around a stripper pole wearing skirts up to their crotches? WTF? No wonder why we have such a problem with pedophilia in this country.

If this is a sign of what is to come from this company, we are in deep snip as a culture. Girls this age should be wearing strawberry shortcake for God's sake.

My girls are 3 1/2 and they will certainly not be allowed to go anywhere near clothes like this until they turn 18.

This is disgusting!!

This is what happens when they allow kids to be bombarded with celebs like PAris Hilton and her sidekick Nicki or whatever her name is, They idolize these celeb skanks and want to emulate them. It's a sad sad sign of the times. This is why reality tv is just garbage, it should be banned from tv!

Lets be realistic here, the only way other children will get this stuff is if their parents buy it for them. There's no way a nine year old has the cash to pick this stuff up themselves.

Ultimately, its up to the parents to decide what is and is not appropriate for their kids.

I will say this, if i had a daughter, she probably wouldnt be getting this for her birthday.

So, it's a political issue now?
And it's all the liberals' fault?

Look, little girls have been wearing petticoats forever. That's all these are.

Tutus and Tiaras
Kaiya Eve
Pettiskirt Style

It's hard for me to understand the problem people have with this. But I guess I'll just let it go.

Enjoy your outrage.

Im pretty sure secular influence has been around for a long time. if anything, this is just a result of poor parenting, commercialism, and the desire to make a buck.

The clothes that are shown in the article are not for children and I think that most children would not feel comfortable wearing them anyway.

It is parents who make them put on these clothes and tell them that it is alright.

My overall impression is that such clothes do not match with such young children. The two (child and such clothes) give a confusing signal and that is not good and relaxed for people and the children who wear them.

And not forget to mention the whole make-up thing......not done.

i was just looking at this last night actually. I know that the stuff they're designing isnt like adult lingerie, but its still highly inappropriate...i've seen a few different things from noah and miley cyrus. i have no idea what is going on in the minds of their parents, but these girls are headed down the wrong road. and one day their parents are going to wonder where they went wrong...its sad really. i was reading last night that the older sister, miley, has pictures of her in her underwear on myspace. its just nuts...

No it hasn't been around for a long time.Even if we go back 20-30 years we didn't have this sort of sh*t being pumped into our heads. We grew up with proper family values and we had strong faith. In UK these things have led what we call a 'Broken Society' now.

Oh what's the use??

Hey it isn't the fact that in this one set of just 3 styles you can't see their their private parts (but just wait). It is the whole packaging idea, little girls, lingerie, stripper poles, the word Ooh la la, full makeup. But it's ok with a portion of you and that is why this company is doing this; they see some money to be made by people who will jump when their 7 year old demands clothes like Hollywood's youngest porno queen is now wearing.

You know it's very alarming to see how ATSers respond to topics like this and drugs. Those are two issues where ATsers totally surprise me. Two areas of society and culture where you'd expect a certain response from people that see the lies and evil in government yet fail to see the lies and evil on issues like this.

I agree wholeheartedly with you. No wonder America has such a problem with pedophilia. Look at some of the responses in this thread. And we wonder why homeschooling is so popular right now. I don't want to send my kids to school with other kids who's parents approve of this type of disgusting dress for their girls.

America's sexualization of their young people especially young girls is disgusting. But what do you expect from Hollywood? I mean afterall who was the guy that anally sodomized a young girl and escaped to another country only to have charges dropped against him and Hollywood came out in droves in support of him? LMAO! Why do you think Hollywood is such a mess........these people live in a bubble of materialism, sexualization, drugs, etc. Why do you think relationships never last........well when you can have sex with whoever you want whenever you want why would anyone take a marriage or relationship seriously.

I was born in the wrong century that's for sure.

hardly. Religious values have not dicated public policy for a while know. Blaming the lack of religion for a parents inability to say no to their kids stupid pet project is rediculous.

Besides, Mr Cyrus is relgious, protestant i believe.

Before I read the thread I was hoping it was just s fancy misnomer for what was once called, you know... underwear.

Apparently not.

And BTW, how does a child of nine even know the word dominatrix - not to mention about its "appeal"...?

P.S. I thought 9 year olds wore pajamas, or "pj's" --

NOT lingerie.
