Man, djusdjus, your post is so easy to pick apart:
I do believe that there has not been a fairly elected president since Eisenhower left office. Well, ok Kennedy, but look what happened to him.
------------
JFK??? Really???? The Mafia got the teamsters to stuff the ballot for JFK & he was fairly elected. Don't rewrite history, read up on it.
---------
Clinton was gonna cut funding to the military too, but then whoops!
---------------
Yeah, he cut the military budget that's how we got a balanced budget to hand over to GWB. Well, we know what HE did with the surplus! hahahaha
----------
If Obama slashed military spending, he'd get the Kennedy treatment as well.
-------------
Obama cut it too but it still has grown. Look it up You don't get to make up your own facts!

I may not agree what you say, but will defend your right to say it etc etc etc etc. Obama is to me just another in a long line of puppets, he talked a big game and has (thus far) failed to follow through on his typically ambitious campaign promises. He's a schmuck, but not yet worthy of the vitriol that dwells in my heart for the Bush administration.

We know what/who you are against. My question is this.

What or (more relevant to your original post) who are you for?

Our country is set up in such a way that we are required to have a president. Who would you like to see in the position and why?

Addressing the OP: I support your right, your conviction and standing up for what you think. Do I agree? Not with all of it, but then again that was not the point of the thread. To me, some people failed to realize it was a good thread for a rant. Some discussion could certainly be had, but overall, more like a room where you can just yell off all the stress and negativity.

I find some here funny. The ones that are not moderators (maybe they are passively aggressively applying for the position) and start claiming this is an invalid thread or this is stupid; I would assume, if given the vested power to shut a thread down, those people would have done so in a minute.

Some of the best reading here is the engagement of discussion into the deeper issues of why some people dislike President Obama. Nixie, Iamsuperman, Common, Empire, and some others that I failed to mention have done a good job on focusing the discussion to valid points and thoughts about why.

Given that, I feel the OP didnt really have the intention for this to become that, it is wonderful to see a thread grow and evolve into a debate! Bravo -- Just too bad this reply couldnt be placed at the front

I'm sure there used to be more intelligent discussion at one point.

You can cry and cry and cry about someone but it won't change a damn thing.

If you really think this is a site for Obama bashing, you need to read back a few years. Bush took some MAJOR bashing on this site.

Your qoute, not mine.

So, true.

But sadly, those on the left only think this applies to them. You'll notice on this thread how they often attack the person that posted the thread and not the message.

Exactly how is that not being attacked "simply for who they are"?

Posting in all caps makes you appear to be a juvenile.
Bush was not the worst American President ever, Roosevelt is the worst, most despicable person to ever hold the office.
And by the way, your post is stupid.

Which Roosevelt? The one that saved the economy and mobilized us to victory in the most horrific war in the history of humanity? Now that's what I call despicable.

That being said, you have got to be kidding with your statement that there was no media beast out for Bush? are you joking?? The msm were on his butt 24/7, in a relentless manner that continues to this day, as he gets blamed for all the problems that face Obama, from Obama's own hands. Give me a break. You must never watch the MSM or read the NY Times, or any number of MSM media outlets. They never let up on Bush#2.

Remember the media beast that went after Bush in the run-up to the Iraq war? No? That's because IT DIDN'T HAPPEN! The entirety of U.S. media had not a whisper of dissent before or after the Iraq war for quite some time. That alone is enough to disprove your assertion that the media was after Bush all the time. The New York Times even posted a mea culpa from the editors some years after the Iraq war was found to be a non-defensive war.

I don't watch broadcast (CBS, ABC, NBC) news, but I can surely tell you Obama has gotten no such help from the media. CNN has birther Loony Lou Dobbs attacking him on a daily basis with a new conspiracy theory every day. MSNBC has Joe Scarborough on for three hours a day and Pat Buchanan most days tearing into Obama. The New York Times ran a story about the "9/12" protest on their front page. During the Bush years the New York Times ran a story about the big anti-war protest from October 2002 on page EIGHT of their paper.

You're going to ignore the content of this reply of mine anyway. You and most of the USA are too far gone to communicate with.

What makes you think I have any interest in trivial pop garbage? Specifically what did FDR do that put our nation on a destructive path? The war I was referring to as being horrific happened to claim more lives than in any war in history. That trumps whatever war you were in. And frankly I don't care what war that is because I don't respect you any more for taking part in one. Who is this WE? There is no monolothic WE. The majortiy will not be overrun my a minority fringe movement.

I've always liked the title assigned to him by Tarpley:

Poverty Pimp

He's doing his job of destroying America. We need more American business, especially production and that production should be technology and green, alternative energy and new, sustainable products and processes for living.

The trillions he wants to hand to the bankers we could spend on a new energy "Manhattan Project" but no, rather than build something he's just another seller of doom and economic destruction, taking America down for his real bosses.

By the time he's finished his program of fascism by having the government absorb every remaining US industry there will be no jobs left in the country for the middle class.

Take out the middle class and you take out the soul of America.

Keep pimping that poverty, poor people vote for the left like its automatic. Pass the amnesty program too, lets get those votes too while we're at it.

Roosevelt had to come up with the new deal to stave off a revolution, I wonder what the poverty pimp or his replacement are going to have to do?

A question for Common Good-Is an" indepedant" something you wear around your neck? Really, lack of basic spelling ability usually gives a person away. You say that your unhappiness about Obama is not about "race", it's about "hate." Boy, I'm glad you cleared that up for us. Your qualifier about being involved in hip-hop is the typical "I'm not a racist" comment we have all been hearing from the radical right in recent days. So, I guess, in your mind, hate is more acceptable than racism. And you say that Obama is "tearing this country apart." Do you mean by proposing healthcare for everyone, or by doing what was necessary to bail out the country from the huge financial mess that your hero Bush dumped on all of us? I guess I don't understand why trying to help people and turning around disastrous policies of the previous administration equates to all this "socialism" that you right-wingers love to espouse. Seriously, the conservative right is coming unglued over all this "government" interference in their lives, all because they lost an election that they couldn't fix, as in the past. Just be honest and say that you hate Obama because he is black. Don't couch it in all this other rhetoric. But, I'm sure you'll just go on "bashing away."

Explains alot of it right there!
So does 80 flags for this hate thread! Congrats!
I picked the right name alright.
This country doesn't stand a chance.

BTW, You should hear all the "'n-word'" jokes I do in this blood red state!
Appalling. Nuff said.
Whats real funny is how blacks always seem to have to clean up the mess left by whites!

Don`t you understand yet? The Presidents in western countries
HAVE NO POWER! i`m a shamed that i have to explain this to you.

So you are barking up the wrong tree dawg. Im so tired of hearing all u blaming Obama for this Bush for that. A long time ago maybe one of your Presidents initially had some power but after the forming of the Fed-Res and the movement of resources from UK first bank, NO.
