Maybe he is afraid to come out.

I know I would be.

The speaker on the live feed just said no one was in the balloon?

They said 'we have to leave' like they were not being allowed to record anymore. I was panicked because I thought maybe the boy had passed and they didn't want that filmed. But then said 'Oh we can stay?' No one is inside the balloon?

Everyone take note of this. Homemade vids of this will no doubt be circulating the web for the next x number of years, claiming "I FILMED A UFO"...look out youtube!

Now, on a serious note, I hope the boy is OK.

Now on a conspiracy note...i'll just jump right in and say that this could be a govt. attempt to put homemade aircraft in the public spotlight, so they can create more laws to stop us from doing such activities...I personally don't believe this...but, no doubt, someone will create a thread on this.

Just my 2-cents

We've heard of the "Terrible" Twos, and the "Tantrum" Threes. Well, they should call it the "Surprising" Sixes. I know when my child was 6 she was doing all sorts of things that anyone in their right mind would never have considered doing, and she had the ingenuity to figure out ways to do them after watching it done in a cartoon. I couldn't even keep her locked in the house for her safety as she figured out ways to either circumvent or defeat the array of locks on the door. I'm honestly surprised she survived her "Surprising" Sixes.

So, don't be so rash to blame the parents on this one.

Hopefully though it will have a happy ending and the child will be returned to his parents when the ordeal is over.

(I'm keeping my fingers crossed that only having Helium to breathe isn't accurate)

Perhaps we should find out if the kid fell out and died before we turn it into a conspiracy theory. geez

Was this a hoax????????

I hope they kept the actual track of this balloon so they can backtrack and find him if he did fall out.

That post will be deleted if ATS is still a bastion of decency. (And I think it is.)
