This is true.

It's not good if a rag-tag group or lone individuals do it, they'll just be carted off to prison, and have their houses repossessed.

If hundreds of thousands, if not millions do it, the country would grind to a halt, and the feds would be begging the people for forgiveness.

Watching the toobz of the protests was surreal. I felt like I was watching a low budget sci-fi flick when the LRAD with the robotic voice would pull up. The Republic is definitely in its death throes if not already dead.

This has glaringly exposed the heavy hand of the man behind the curtain and what the reality of life in the US is at this point.

If it is not clear that fed.gov (which continues regardless of current/future administrations) will go to any extreme necessary to crush opposition it won't be until the boot is on your neck. Most of America has sleepwalked into a country with a militarized police force that is better armed than the citizenry. A clear violation of the 2a.

Seat belts are recommended from this point forward.

If anybody thinks that the cops and armed forces will be on our side take a look around. Doesn't look to promising to me. Hopefully I'm wrong.

Unfortunately, I have to say that I believe you are absolutely right.

There was a video posted here a few days ago of National Guard troops controlling traffic, and they stated, on camera, that they will follow orders even if it is in direct conflict with the Constitution.

The media is controlled. The Internet is soon to be controlled (if Obama gets his way).
The majority of Americans are completely ignorant to what is going on.
They'll wake up one day and find everything belongs to the government, their rights no longer exist, the constitution is simply a legend occasionally whispered about by those who will quickly be gathered up and imprisoned should they be overheard.

Where is any fight coming from? Where is the voice of reason in all of this? Nowhere, the majority are too distracted by the Republican V Democrat petty arguments.

I'm sorry to say it, but you had your chance to fight back when Bush was in power, and you were all too lazy to do it.

I've never made comparisons like this before, and I find the Obama/Hitler thing a little too knee-jerk and OTT, but America is a Fascist nation, you are headed toward what Germany became in the Nazi years. If you cannot see that for yourself while ignoring the party BS, you are simply deluded.

I follow neither Democrat or Republican ideals, I'm traditionally left leaning, liberal, but Obama is no different to Bush in his actions and lack of action where it matters.

Unfortunately, the majority still do not see it.

The only way I can see any resolution, any way out of this, is the creation of a third party. But you have to consider that this in itself will be a fight. The corrupt complex that already exists will destroy it in any way they can, they'll use dirty tricks, slander and gossip at first (just as they do between them already to make the performance a little more real), but if that doesn't work, they'll resort to false-flag attacks to discredit any third party.

Quite frankly, I believe America is screwed. Expect to see more military uniforms, expect to see more "non lethal" weaponry being deployed across your country. I'll bet they're working on all of that already.

Most in the military are patriots?

Really?

Certainly not in the Marine corps though eh?

What's their motto again?

Corps, god THEN country isn't it? Seems to me, their first allegiance is to the Marines and their officer class, then to god, and finally to the people.

Guess that means if the officer class tells them to slaughter the people, they will...

Yea.. ok, I guess you haven't actually known any military. When I was in the service, I also at times hung out with marines, navy folks, air force, etc. They are typically normal people, with wives, kids, etc. They are not mindless, thoughtless automatons who will do anything without second thought. Are there some bad apples? Sure, all professions in the world have them. Would some obey an order to kill citizens, including women and children? Maybe. It would be few though, imo.

Most care just as much for their fellow American as you do. Stop painting the entire military (including all those jarheads) with the same broad brush. You are spreading ignorance, not denying it.

Agreed, many of the young in the military will do whatever they are ordered to do. They are hardened by the violence they've seen in Iraq and they can't find work anywhere else. Bottom line is it's probably going to be a blood bath when TSHTF in full force. We need really massive amounts of people to hit the streets, though. Not 300 rag-tag activists. If that is the best we can muster to stand against slaveryl, then indeed we are screwed. Give it up and learn to lick boots!

Can I take a moment to remind people of the

UNITED STATES CODE Title 28 3002 (15) (A) ?

(15) “United States” means—
(A) a Federal corporation;

Thanks to the Act of 1871,

We are employees of the District of Columbia.

Employees, or slaves?

I would call for a Revolt, but I might be arrested as a terrorist.

The military is simply there to protect corporate interests.

If the interests (us) learned the truth...well...that would be baaad for them.

Posse Comitatus does NOT apply since the LRAD (Long Range Acoustic Device) is owned by the local police dept, not the Feds.

The San Diego, CA Sheriff also owns one and deployed it at a recent TownHall meeting where Rep. Davis spoke.

These LRADs are make here in San Diego by
American Technology Corporation,
15378 Avenue of Science, Suite 100
San Diego, CA 92128 USA
Phone: 858.676.1112
Fax: 858.676.1120
www.atcsd.com
VP & US Sales Director: [email protected]
Thomas Brown, President and CEO: guessing his email is [email protected]

Contact them stating they should NOT SELL to domestic governments & join me for a protest at their offices first week of Oct/2009.

American Technology Corporation developed the LRAD after the attack on the USS Cole in 2000. Its original purpose was to help enforce the safe zones around United States military vessels. Using the LRAD's default settings, a ship's crew can warn a craft that it is approaching a military ship and must change course. This message can be up to 120 dB, so it's loud and clear but not usually painful. But if the craft doesn't change course, the ship's crew can override the LRAD's default settings. It can then produce a loud, irritating, potentially painful noise of up to 151 dB. Ideally, the craft would then leave the area without the ship having to use lethal force.
Police and land-based military units have found uses for the LRAD. Using the same principles, authorities can give warnings and instructions that are audible to a large group of people up to 300 meters away. Some police and other non-military personnel also use a smaller version of the LRAD, called the MRAD or the LRAD500.

However, human rights groups and hearing specialists alike have raised concerns about the LRAD. According to the National Institute on Deafness and Other Communication Disorders, any sound over 90 dB can damage a person's hearing [ref]. So the LRAD can threaten the hearing of anyone in its path, regardless of whether there is any wrongdoing, even when used only for communication.

Like stun guns, tear gas and less-lethal ammunition, LRAD can be used in crowd control and other situations as a non-lethal weapon. Non-lethal weapons are somewhat controversial. Human rights groups stress that even though they are less lethal, they are still weapons and have caused deaths in some circumstances. The LRAD in particular has drawn criticism since its effects can be permanent, and non-lethal weapons' effects are supposed to be temporary.

Simple hearing muff protection can only provide a 21db protection. If you add a custom fitted in the ear silicone piece, you can get another 26 db, so even at that level 156db output -21db-26db your at a theoretical 109db, still in the lower pain levels especially since the LRAD can put this sound out continuously.

Troubling days have come to call. The despots and tyrants have gathered in their masses while showing their collective utter contempt for the mass of humanity they claim to serve.

We are all too bound to our leaders through the manipulations of how they present their agendas and for what purpose and how it somehow serves and enriches and protects us beyond them.

We have become like long term hostages that all too often empathize and identify with the violent and destructive and selfish nature of our kidnappers.

Truly the nation has been hijacked and us as citizens along with it, by the schemes and machinations of a few powerful men and their sick and bitter minds and corrupted hearts as they laud and elevated themselves for greed and posterity justifying their crimes and methods in sweet ways far to many Americans have come to not just accept but even encourage.

I believe that the Rubicon has now been crossed and just as when Caesar crossed the Rubicon those who benefited from that in some paltry and petty way applauded him and lauded him for that effort and violation.

It is now up to each one of us as human beings first, citizens second to formulate our own conclusions as to what is acceptable and what has crossed that line and has gone too far.

I can only say that for me I feel the line as been crossed and now it is time for peace loving citizens who value the ideals that grant us liberty and freedom to form and draw a line that we will hold and push back from.

These actions have dissected us through the heart of our nation and psyche and it is time for every man and woman and child to choose a side for if you do not sides as always will be chosen for you.

I invite everyone to stand up and declare these actions to be criminal and a crime against the people and all of humanity. I invite everyone to demand and insist that they be prosecuted from the highest levels of government on down. I invite everyone to keep demanding that until that demand is met and law and peace is restored.

I have sworn an oath to my self to not rest until justice prevails. I invite everyone who feels that the laws of the land and of human dignity have been violated at their core to do the same.

We must demand and insist upon justice at any and all cost, or forever suffer the consequences and shame of having not seized this opportunity to do so.

Let voices ring out, let telephones ring, let pen be committed to paper, let the despots be put on notice, let us now draw a line we swear in our hearts to defend. Let us defend our liberty and our honor and our dignity or pass from this earth with noble spirit and deeds championing these very things, for it is far, far better than living in subjugated shame upon our knees fearful of our own laws and government, fearful to walk our own streets, fearful of what might come next.

The people must now respond, or the people will cease to be.

There is alot of confusion on the board that has to do with forces being military or police. It seems that many Americans lack the vernacular to describe what they are seeing having never seen anything like it before.

I refer to them as Paramilitaries.

The police are militarized now and so can be called paramilitaries.

Paramilitary can also be used to describe defense contractors.

Unfortunately when the G20 is in town all US laws go out the window since the G20 is a world body. They follow THEIR laws making ours obsolete. Then you think, well the G20 is on US property so they have to follow US laws. Nope. When the G20 is in town, whatever property they're on becomes theirs for the duration of their visit, thus empowering them to their laws and rules. Sucks eh?

Think of Pittsburgh as the color blue. When the G20 was in town it turns red and wherever those nice troops in riot gear are they make a perimeter around the summit, which widens the control and laws and the color red. Wherever a roving Humvee is it's red because they're acting on the G20 interests, not USA. All those protesters words and actions meant only 1 thing to them: a threat/ There was no sympathy. None.

How many of those troops were American? Can't really tell right? There's a reason for that. If you want to control American people can't put American troops in because there's the sympathetic emotions and love for one's own country. This is where those nice Velcro patches come in. The patches are replaced depending on the mission.

That's why the Guard in military garb was only there to lend in traffic support, while the troops in black riot gear were used for the heavy stuff --those are hired by the G20 themselves and flown in. If Marines were on the street doing that the country would be in uproar because of the uniform and the American faces. So you take away those things and there ya go.

You guys who fear Martial Law have to think bigger. Martial Law doesn't have to be declared. There was a very noticeable escalation in the security at this summit and one must wonder why. This is all very nice practice in crowd control, getting people used to that level of military presence, etc.

What those troops don't realize though is when TSHTF they're gonna die like you and I will, just they'll die for the wrong reasons.

I am sorry but if your police dept has an armored personnel carrier, or a humvee with an LRAD on it, I consider it to be a military force. A militarized police force is a military force in my opinion. And yes we have been seeing a lot of posse comitatus violations lately with Army and National Guard troops being used for police work.

It is a violation of the first amendment for cops to disperse a peaceful protest.

My warning stands.

Military and Law Enforcement, protect the constitution! You swore you would, and we believe you will. Unfortunately our faith is getting shaky with the stuff that has been going on lately.

Brother against brother, Father against son...Just as it was in 1775.

Although, this time around (IF there is another bloody civil war) i have a feeling it will be less brother against brother or father against son, and more of a bloodbath for everyone concerned...the Federal military, have much more sophisticated weaponry and equipment at their disposal (why can't they find terrorists in caves then?), satellites, IR, thermal imaging etc.

Also there are new devices most have not seen or heard of, such as a hand held imager capable of penetrating up to 8 meters through concrete, wood, plaster, and so on...in short, if you're in, under or around, they can see you.
Police and Army already have this available. (Not many places to hide) Whether or not a layer of thin lead sheet would prevent it seeing, i don't know.

Handguns and rifles against 21st century military and police tech would be a bit like a catapult against an stealth fighter.

Not trying to put anyone off anything they want to do, or NEED to do, but before talk of bloody revolution impresses the weak minded, they should be informed as to what they're going to be up against.
Direct conflict is probably not the way to go these days...everyone stopping working, stop paying taxes, stop paying mortgages would have more chance of success IMO.

I guess nobody told the Taliban, they seem to be doing quite well in Afganistan......you've convinced yourself its a lost cause....thats not the American spirit!!! Eisenhower said it best "It's not the size of the dog in the fight, its the size of the fight in the dog"

The day that I have to turn on US Citizens/residents is the day I go AWOL and turn against my brothers in the Army.

I am in the Army to uphold the US Constitution not to shred it.
