I think that if the U.S. built a secret underground base in the Nevada desert, it would look like this at the surface:

Oh way Kewl
You found that hidden runway I was looking for

If you look real close.... at the ground you will see this..

Comes in grass too

Now if you look at this from Google you will never see anything

but up close... well...

But disguised as Art we would never look there

Very good point. That is almost enough logic to completely toss the subject.

Edited to add: No offense kyleplatinum - not singling you out, i think the whole thread is hilarious, if a little disturbing in a 'witch-hunt' kind of way.

There has gtta be something under it all...

And how it all that ARt work? SEriously. I could blow my nose on a tissue and the end result could get called art.

Yes, you could, if you present it in the right way it can be accepted as art, art is not something that is "carved in stone" (unless it's a sculpture
), its definition is almost on a case by case basis.

Some people are reading way too much into this. It's an elaborate work of art. Some artists like to create extraordinary work on a grand scale and something like this generates interest. I don't see a connection to secret bases or aliens, lol. However, it's an interesting looking structure.

Being a conspiracy site I guess it doesn't hurt to let our imaginations run wild sometimes.

Here's hoping!

To paraphrase StevesResearch, "[I hope] it doesn't hurt [any unsuspecting artists that are highly likely to be completely innocent of malevolent activity] to let our imaginations run wild sometimes."

I guess what I really want to know is if the artist was working with Federal grant money, like some of them do. If he was, then I say we as the bankrollers of the federal government should have access to it. hes been working on it for just about 40 years now. thats all fine and jim dandy, but who in their right mind would sink and untold ammount of money into something like this and NOT want to show it off?

ok, its not finished, and knowing the usual artist mentality, i doubt it will ever be "finished".

I just have a hard time understanding the personal devotion versus the self imposed obscurity of certain "artists".

seems a little selfish to me.
