Rare First Responder pics from Ground Zero

I am new to this site but it does bring up some nteresting questions and I think a little paranoia at the same time.

I used to take the Path trains from Hoboken to the World Trade Center and back every work day for 7 years when I worked in the Battery in the Financial district.

I have to tell you those token booths are the real thing as are the turnstiles, the signage, tracks etc. You have to realize that there was a huge bank of escalators (maybe 15) from the first main sub level of the Trade Center down to the PATH trains and they had to take you at least 300 feet under street level. Man these were long escalators. More would be switched to up escalators in the morning rush and vice versa in the evening,

Being approx 300 feet underground, I did not see anything that would look out of the ordinary with the buildings collpasing. I have seen shops down there that remained in tact except for dust and minimal debris. The beams looked like they just punched through and / or lost thier mountings along the rivets. The workers seem to be cutting through from one section of tracks to another parallel track section which is normal.

Once, I had to climb about six stories up old metal laders out of a subway that welded itself to the traks around 80th and Lexington and we are talking they are planted real deep in places.

Don't see anything our of the ordinary given the circumstances. What am I missing?

Looking at these and Sonnefield pictures, I am no longer as skeptical of the offcial story of the collapse. The big factor for me is that I cannot see any evidence of cutting by expolosives in any of the beams, and there is a bunch of beams. The one beam people point at looks like it was probably cut by man and torch. Perhaps the biggest debunker of this theory is that all of the still standing beams are dead square on the top. They would be the logical ones to show some blast cutting.

So I wasted everyone's time with Sonnenfields pics, huh?

Only reason I decided to put them out was because he put his out. Figured I'd sat on them long enough.

.....We have front row seats to this theater of mass destruction...in two minutes primary charges will blow base charges and few square blocks will be reduced to smouldering rubber....I know this...

Well maybe you guys got something else in the bit torrent of the Sonnenfeld pics than was in the zip file of the same. While there may be some pictures that are the same because they were taken by FEMA, and supplied in both pic sets, none of the underground (NY transit) photos were supplied in the Sonnenfeld zip file that I received. There was no directory called Disk1 in the zip file.

And it seems that both of these sets of pics contained accumulated photos from the day, and from many different sources. In the zip file of Sonnenfeld pics, there was a folder specifically for his pics, and two other folders. In the pic set for this thread, we got two separate folders called WTC1 and WTC2- and in both of these folders the pics were all mixed in together.

Basically it appears to me after having seen both sets, that some are the same, others are different, and who really gives a flying crap? Together they make one serious collection for anyone interested in 9/11 photos. In years of researching 9/11 I had never seen the transit subway photos though- so to me they are rare... And judging from the response to this thread, it seems not many here have seen them either.

But great, if they are already in the public domain, then no one's got anything to worry about.

OK, thanks for that.

As TrueAmerican said, those photos do not exist on the zip file that I downloaded, it looks like there may be two different versions of that file or two different files.

The one I have has only 3 folders, FEMA_photos, Misc_photogs and Sonnenfeld_photos.

Could this be a new conspiracy?

I'm glad you posted them.. I could care less where they came from. I mean.. gee... eventually they have to come from somewhere

Wow.. i only posted the other day we hadnt seen any pics of what was bellow the WTC towers and here they are

You can clearly see girders bent without being buckled. Thats only possible during massive temperatures. People might like to argue about the melting point of the steal etc but you have to realize the girders in these pics would have had to have been at the bottom of the towers where there was no fire.

So, these pictures are going to prove some cover up? How the heck is that? I don't understand the big deal here...... These are pictures from the crash site that makes sense to me. Why are so many people trying to find "stuff" in plain examples?

You can clearly see girders bent without being buckled. Thats only possible during massive temperatures. People might like to argue about the melting point of the steal etc but you have to realize the girders in these pics would have had to have been at the bottom of the towers where there was no fire.

Are from upper stories which as building broke up crashed down like
giant spears and embedded themselves in ground - crashing through
the roof of the subway tunnel


Pictures were in the 1 & 9 subway tunnel which is fairly shallow only
about 2 stories under ground

So your saying soft steal smashed though the ground without buckling?

Its quite obvious that girder didnt fall from anywhere.. it was holding up the roof.

These guys haven`t quite grasped the rather complex pattern needed to initiate a pancake collapse.... 80% of the debris was ejected away from the towers thus displacing the weight needed,and most of it was dust, this also completely negates the compressed air outlets that people with an IQ above 0 call squibs - dust is not a very good element for producing a compressed air scenario as it would - believe it or not - blow away if any pressure were formed, did I mention the centre core?, would love to know how these bad boys collapsed in on themselves? .

this puts you on the Fed radar then I hope they put me on their
list too. The truth is too important, America is too important to

Loony, you should've known prior to posting these pics that the
ensuing debate would bring out the best and worst in people - that
was a given, even on such a great site as ATS.

As for NOT posting pictures with people falling etc, there may
be valuable clues in those. Could you not just blot out the people
or get someome else to in Photoshop? We need all the evidence
we can get to finally nail down some answers and get to the truth. I
beg you to consider that idea please.

Its always been my theory that the bulk of what happened to the WTC came from those tunnels or bellow.

Yeah, I did not see any sign of two brightly glowing 2000 degree masses sinking into the earth behind all the pulverized concrete dust. Why didn't all the office furniture in the lower 80-90 floors burst into flames when suddenly hit with 2000 degrees? None of the huge pieces of steel hurled out 600 feet from the towers in all directions, seemed to be glowing with 2000 degrees of heat.

Nice intro, makes people feel like these are not just pictures of damage, but of something much more sinister. Adding "send a link to a few people" implies that these images are secret somehow and would be summarilly destroyed or removed from ATS (which by the way, I have never seen happen)

Adding "TPTB" gets the tin hats all riled up.

Funny, I certainly remember seeing some of these or some very similar to these on numerous occasions. There are one or two similar right on the first page of google images if you do a search. I am not exactly sure what TheLoony is trying to impart on these images, but it is clear, VERY CLEAR, that the hand wringing and worriesome talk, is all for show.

What trouble could you possibly get in posting (mostly) underground subway damage? These are not classified photos. You can find this type of photo all over the web.

I think your motive here is clear.

Some people will look at things and put red circles around them and say "whats this?" Like destruction on this scale is supposed to be somehow orderly with nothing "out of place" or "oddly shaped".
I am sure a dozen or so "experts" will point to things (like a crushed boiler, or torn truss) to say that a building falling down couldn't cause "this amount of damage" in a substation.. only "thermite" or a "holographic plane" or other such nonsense.

Obviously, I will refrain from what I would like to say to you. Go ahead and pat yourself on the back though it was one heck of a performance.

Regardless, of what "thought" you put into the OP's first post the fact is there are literally thousands of photos that are unseen of the disaster. Of course you have seen some of these photos, its a ridiculous assumption, I don't even know why I'm responding.(I think I'm suffering from a 9/11 madness attack)

Anyways, The fact that it clearly states in one of the photos that all photo/video equipment is not permitted beyond this point, followed by hundreds of photos in the site. I think would be evidence enough of the importance of them. I for one have been through every piece of 9/11 information I could get my hands on since 05 and I have never seen anything like them.

Now if we could only get the photos from the pentagon site, maybe we could finally put to rest all these no plane hit the pentagon theories.
