what event opened your eyes?

my wake-up to reality started young during the OPEC oil drought in the 70's and water gate. (america's first "oh my")

then i enlisted in the US armed services which showed me a whole entire different angle of what was going on. (our uppers used to say back in the mid 80's that terrorism was the next big thing)

then 911 happened, then the information revolution happened and its just exploded since then.

I don't know what it was for me.. i just had a dream in mid 2008 to check out a classification known as "Above Top Secret" i typed it in and lo and behold this site existed been interested in it since, i was getting headaches,nausea and upset stomachs for about 2 months after reading then it went away like soemthing had changed in me.. the dream happened as i began to feel like i'm meant for something more or that something is coming and i want to go home.

My opening event was the EME that sat in my room. Although it was not my first paranormal incident it was the first where i experienced a entity so dark that it was its own shadow. if the NWO exists it is about to get played like a fiddle and they wont even realize it. the EME's want the space and the NWO is not going to be immune.

The JFK assassination/magic bullet theory was my turning point. I was very young, a teenager, and when the "magic bullet" theory came out, it was absurdly ridiculous, no one believed it, at least no one I knew. We thought it was funny, as at the time, I was a big hunter, anyone who had been around guns, knew how absurd it was, that was my turning point.

Around the same time, I saw a movie called "Soldier Blue", with Candice Bergen. It was about the Sand Creek Massacre in revenge to "Little Big Horn" (read the real story of "Little Big Horn" and General Custer) outside of Denver, explicitly showing what we did these innocent women and children. At that point, I began reading and researching what really happened to the Native Americans here (genocide), as well as the Spanish Inquisition, visiting and working on reservations and traveling to Peru and other Latin American Countries.

And then we had new neighbors move in (Denver) and they told us they worked for the CIA at the Denver Federal Center, would not say what their jobs were, they would not discuss it. I always had been told the CIA only works outside the US. Ha, ha, I found since they are everywhere, no doubt reading this post.

And my UFO, flying saucer sighting, in 1977 while fishing, was certainly awakening, and unforgettable. The criminal IRS came after me in the 80's, for no reason, and of course Oklahoma City bombing, Waco and 911 pretty much consummated my suspicions leading to continual research on the aforementioned topics and current events.

Also, when I stopped watching television 4 years ago, I found myself living in a different reality, I suppose outside the "matrix". I can not have an intelligent conversation with a TV watcher, amazing, but true. Unless we are talking about the weather or some stupid sports team or event.

It took me a long, long time to wake up. I believed the lies and believed in the system. I first started to wake up when I re-read about JFK's assassination - but still I was in doubt. Then I watched "The men who killed Kennedy". I woke up... partially. I believed their lies about 9-11 until I watched Aaron Russo, watched 9-11 videos, and read Tarpley on synthetic terrorism. So, my world of illusion was then completely shattered. I read books by Des Griffin and understood I had been lied to since the day I was born - more than 50 yrs. ago.

So, I woke up about 3 1/2 yrs. ago- it is hard to know your world is a fabrication, set up by those interested in controlling the earth for their nefarious purposes. I now question everything - I used to subscribe to Alex Jones - but he is too overboard and I began to question him as well as others. I am not interested in digesting more bs from the "agencies". I cannot really talk to most people - so many are still asleep. I do read books about all this and listen to a few internet folks - like J. Spirko of Survival Podcast. I canceled tv - but talk radio seems to have some info. So far, I visit ATS pretty regularly.

I realize:

This system is so corrupt, it is overwhelming-

I must Pull out of the system to the degree possible.

Debt is enslavement.

The 2 parties are the same party - both want war.

Organized religion is a shill for the system (tax exemptions you know)

Fear is the most effective means of controlling humans and they are constantly pumping up the fear factor through scams - real and imagined.

Do not hate others (such as Muslims or Jews or gays or illegal immigrants or ...take your pick)- that is their game plan - divide and conquer and order out of chaos.

War must end - the US is in the Middle East to kill those people - it is wrong.
I will not display the flag as long as the criminal rats run the system.

Drugs both legal and illegal are a favorite ploy for control of people and to make profits.

I think the govt is not the country.

If there is a solution it is for humans world-wide to wake up and stop killing one another - stop participating in the carnage.

For me I was in my teens when Ronald reagan was shot, my grandfather came home feeling good from a few drinks I told him The president was shot and he said "NO" then shed a tear and passed out....
I watched and learned until I seen Reagan at Bohemian grove then I knew we had been scammed.
Alex Jones confirmed everything else IMO I know alot of people have different opinions of him but I see a man overwhelmed with all theinfo that he recieves that is 100% real not too mention all the Bull*h$t he must recieve, I dont see what all the fuss about him is, if you like OBAMA dont listen to what he says about him...right? Or anything else for that matter..
Hes waking people up and thats the bottom line.
Ive woken many people up and continue to do so best I can.
One thing I will never understand is someone who works 9-5 who says" who cares"???????? I don't think I will ever understand why there is people who could care less. With this knowledge I feel like I'm partially to blame, do you suppose by tossing your head in another direction these people feel like its none of there concern so long as I don't pay attention? In the end its these "Sheep" and there actions that will decide our(the minority's ) fate.
We need to start over. Clean the board. Seems to be the way things are heading.

I awoke in a fashion similar to Argentus. First it was watching both the Kennedys and MLK getting shot, the uselessness of Vietnam, Watergate, Church committee hearing, iran/contra, Waco, 9/11 - all pointed to someting rotten going on and someone covering it up.

I think it's important to add that I felt hopeless to do anything about it until punk rock came along and showed me that everyone had a voice if they were brave enough to use it. I haven't shut up since. lol

i'm not a complete believer in the numbers, but i can relate a family story.
come to think of it,this got me thinking at a very young age. my family, moms side, was from parts of europe. my grandparents and mother were rounded up by the nazis and sent to the warsaw ghetto. when the stormtroopers started rounding everyone up for shipment to the camps, my grandfather hid my grandmother and mom with sympathetic polish and escaped the ghetto. he traveled on foot across a good bit of europe, through the underground railroad, very similar to the one here in the states that helped slaves get north. and hid in the cargo hold of a freight ship heading to new york. once he arrived he established himself, rented a place to live and found a number jobs. it took him about 6 months of wheeling and dealing to get the money together to go back and get my grandmother and mom out of warsaw. he says he paid some resistance fighters to go in and get her out. they all made it back to the states unharmed. when i was about 7-8 i was visiting my grandparent when they received a call out of the blue. it was one of the resistance fighters who helped him, he had kept a list of names of those he had helped and was traveling around the states visiting. it was an incredible reunion, neither of them really knew each other, but spent a couple days just enjoying each others company and telling stories.

edit to change from sympathetic germans, to sympathetic polish. many polish families were still in warsaw when the nazis created the ghetto to hold gews and others they wanted to keep an eye on. many of these families risked their lives to hide people.

Thank you for your credible story. I lived for more than 8 years in Germany and it is a wonderful country with wonderful people and I've always had the question how the holocaust really could have taken place. But Germany is worn and torn as the USA or any other nation on this planet because of the NWO aka Zionists. True Jews suffer just as much.

The Germans weren't the only ones that would become "Übermenschen", from my perspective will every one with a pure heart become an "Übermensch" in the end. Perhaps in 2012.

What opened my eyes- in high school when Kennedy was shot, I guess it made me believe that like my father that knocked the beans out of his kids ,that there really where bad people out there..I didn't vote until Ross Perio(spelling-sorry) ran for office. Didn't know anything but I wanted to have a government which would be of my making and not those bad people out there. Sat on my butt until 4/5 years ago and just by chance happened onto a web site- Who really owns the federal reserve. Haven't been able to stop reading since.

respect to you for standing by your beliefs. i do have a problem with the heil hitler, as you can now understand. i have no problem with the german people, but things get out of control at times, and people just follow, like sheep, as the saying goes. this is why i questioned you, as a jew, anyone who comes forward with a nazi like attitude, in general does so to be hip or cool with a group of people they want to be part of. hence my story about prison and the aryan brotherhood, they tried to indoctrinate me as soon as i got into prison, but the thought of hanging out with a bunch of skinheads with swastikas tattooed all over them was far more than i could handle.
as long as you stick to your beliefs in non-violence i have no problem, just realize that many like me will want you to explain what these things mean to you because they can be very offensive.
most of the rest of my family on my moms side never made it, all went to their deaths in dochau[sp?] and auswitz.

For me, I think it was "loose change", not that I believed everything in it, but it changed the way I thought, seen the world, processed information. Now, no matter what I consume in the lines of media, I always have an inititial ATS approach to it.

I was going to start writing what opened my eyes, read this post and it sent a chill down my spine because of how eerily similar it is to what I was going to write.

Finally watching Zietgiest after some time of hearing it on the Internet.

But before that, a video by some guy on 9/11 I downloaded but didn't know what it was truly about so I ignored it, but after Zietgiest I rewatched it and BAM, I knew.

my folks tell me that i was independant and rebellious from day one... but i suppose if i had to narrow it down to a single event or place in time it would have to be the transition from private to public school.

private school taught me how to hate. i became more educated in elitism than anything else. i was a 'have-not' going to a school for the 'haves', and i was made completely aware of this by the student body and faculty.
my parents worked very hard to afford tuition that offered no real education. the school was a factory for churning out bigots and zealots. the faculty placed a much greater emphasis on athleticism than education. the athletics booster club had bake sales to raise money for steroids.

i saw the wealthier kids enjoying special treatment. they never had to finish homework, always disrupted class with personal drama, and merely had to show up in order to get a passing grade. this may be common in any school, but at this one is was there for all to see. hell, one day in a history class the teacher handed out grades based on how well students could kiss his ass. it was sickening. i hated going to school in general, and realised that this was oppertunity to have it easy until graduation, if i played along. i couldn't stand it though. so i informed my parents of what was really going down & how they were wasting thier money. they didn't believe me at first, but a year later when other kids from other families were struggling throuh freshman college and dropping out because they were so uneducated, it became obvious. my parents were livid. they began speaking with other parents...

soon after kids began leaving that school in droves. it closed down by the time i graduated from the public school system.

that last year of private school, my only two friends there helped me launch a campaign of dissent, disruption, and sabotage. it was awesome. (one of those guys is now a famous record producer.)

later on some of the kids i went to private school with came to the same public school, they were completely lost... and came to the misfit to guide them to back their cliques.

as bad as the public school system may be it was heaven on earth compared to the scholastic hell that i had come from.

the stark contrasts made me question everything.

Am I the only person that thinks this might be a thread to gather information?

I disapprove Violence in every way, Violence is never necessary, I stand to Hitler because I think that he did more good than evil. It is hard to believe but many Ideas and Solutions the Third Reich came up with are still policy in several countries like Holland.

State Health Care, Financial Child Support, Animal Rights etcetera, etcetera.
Hitler wanted a loving, self-aware, healthy, decent and intelligent Society free from smudge.

Recently I visited the War Museum in Overloon and they have a collection of wartime propaganda including billboards. On one of them were the American, British and French flag depicted as curtains and looking through from behind was a Jew/Zionist. Tht didn't change after WW2.
