Sorry, did you miss the relevant statute that I quoted right above the section of my post you say is not true? You know, the part that says:

Upon application of an adult or the legal parents of a minor child, the director of health shall issue a birth certificate for such adult or minor, provided that proof has been submitted to the director of health that the legal parents of such individual while living without the Territory or State of Hawaii had declared the Territory or State of Hawaii as their legal residence for at least one year immediately preceding the birth or adoption of such child.

The part that all I did was restate in simpler terms, that you then claimed was not true? I bolded it for you. It's exactly what I said, and thus true no matter how much you rail against it.

What radio show did you hear this from? A lot of radio talk show hosts say a lot of things taken out of context or with no source what so ever. Example; Rush Limbaugh.

You realize the certificate would still say his original birthplace, whether it was Kenya or Mars right.

You just cant request them. Hawaii will not issue anyone their original birth certificate, or a direct copy. Under state laws, the only birth record you can obtain is a Certificate of Live Birth. This is the document Obama released, and it is the only one he can release. It doesn't matter how many times you say you want to see the original, because he cannot get it. Nobody in Hawaii can.

Vital records (birth, death, marriage, and divorce certificates) for events that occurred in Hawaii are received and preserved by the Office of Health Status Monitoring, a unit of the Department of Health. In Hawaii, access to vital records is restricted by statute (HRS §338-18).

It's really very simple when you put the pieces together. Absolutely no conspiracy here. Nothing is being hidden, except things that cannot be released anyway under Hawaii State Law.

I'd like to see the statute that says that. I've read all of them from Hawaii that I can find that pertain to birth certificates and have yet to see that anywhere.

It's right on the birth certificate.

You can see right on the certificate, it says where the person was born. Island (a feature probably unique to Hawaii Certs), County and City.

Images of two 1961 Hawaii birth certificates similar to the one President Obama purportedly has on file have now been unveiled.

The Honolulu Advertiser published photostats of the original long-form birth certificates of twin daughters born to Eleanor Nordyke at Kapi'olani Maternity and Gynecological Hospital Aug. 5, 1961, one day after Obama was supposedly born at the same facility.

The Nordykes' certificates include information missing from the short-form document for Obama published online, including the name of the hospital, the name of the attending physician, name and address of the parents, the race of the parents and the race of the baby.

As WND reported yesterday, Hawaii's director of health responded to the growing controversy over the White House's refusal to release Obama's original long-form birth certificate by issuing a statement about the document in apparent contravention of Hawaiian law.

A close examination of the birth certificates issued by Kapi'olani to the Nordyke twins shows the registration number precedes the number given Obama, even though the future president was born a day earlier.

Susan Nordyke was born at 2:12 p.m. Hawaii time and was given No. 151 – 61 – 10637, which was filed with the Hawaii registrar Aug. 11, 1961.

Gretchen Nordyke followed at 2:17 p.m. and was given No. 151 – 61 – 10638, which was also filed with the Hawaii registrar Aug. 11, 1961.

According to a version of Obama's purported short-form certificate available from FactCheck.org, Obama was given a higher registration number than the Nordyke twins. The online image indicates the number is No. 151 – 1961 – 10641, even though he was born Aug. 4, 1961, the day before the twins, and his birth was registered with the Hawaii registrar three days earlier, Aug. 8, 1961.

The middle figure in Obama's purported registration also is different than the Nordykes'. Obama's is 1961, indicating the year, while the Nordykes' is merely 61.

One explanation for the out-of-order serial numbers might be that several serialized stacks of birth certificates were made available at different hospitals.

Another possibility is that Obama's number is not a genuine registration number created in 1961 but was issued when the short-form document was generated during the 2008 presidential campaign.

This is odd indeed. Hawaii is a state! lot still view it as a US territory though. Youde think hawaiian law would be relatively the same jsut as in here mainland USA. Excample...in the lower 48 states, im pretty sure a backgroudn check would have been VERY thourough with obama. Being its form haiwaii, it hides the paper work better, being the laws are differnt. so! it would seem, Hawaii is helping 'ol barry hide this from us all...and congress knows about it!!!

Ok I keep reading this stuff about these birth certificates and Obama wasn't born in Hawaii. My question is Who hatched this plan 48 years ago to get a Kenyan elected to the arguably the highest office in all the world? I mean you would think after 48 years someone would have slipped up and the plan would have fallen apart. This birther stuff is absolutely the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard. How would you know that someone born 48 years ago would grow up with all the traits that someone in his position would need to have to become president? I mean if there was a plan hatched 48 years ago to make this happen I think the more important issue is what powers orchestrated this plan? So instead of wasting your time trying to find Obama's original birth certificate, which you have no legal right to see anyway, find the organization that hatched this plan all those years ago.

Actually, genius, not a single lawsuit filed against Obama has been dismissed as "frivolous"...in fact, not a single one has been heard on the merits...those that have been dismissed have been on grounds of "lack of standing", which is a simple way for the judge to cop out, rather than face the music...all "lack of standing" means is that, even if the plaintiff's allegations have merit, since the plaintiff is not being harmed by the act in question, there is no reason to hear the case...which is a ridiculous assertion; a President can raise taxes, order us off to war, take away our private healthcare, etc., and according to these judges his being in office does not harm us???

the people that are suing Obama over this are barking up the wrong tree. they should be suing the DNC for having Obama run for president without properly vetting him. THEY (the DNC) can't pass laws to protect themselves, THEY wiould have to provide proof that Obama is a citizen, They would have a more difficult time defending themselves, THEY do not have the influence Obama does. THEY would have to do something to cover their own butts...

Sorry guys, I hate to break it to you guys but Arnold is not a natural born citizen so he can never be President. Unlike Barry Obama he doesn't have a Hawaiian COLB that his mommy lied got for him a week after he was born.

If this thing with the sister pans out - it shows a pattern of dishonest behavior in the mother. It should be enough to finally catapult the case into court. Its obvious that he's lying or he would have revealed the long form a long time ago.

Here is another interesting conficting point regarding Obama's released certificate of live birth.

The link here pulls up a .pdf document of "Vital Statistics of the United States -- Volume I -- Nativity." In 1961, the Public Health Services, U. S Department of Health, Education and Welfare, National Center for Health Statistics, National Vital Statistics Division published this document.

Page 231 contains the requirements for "Race and color."

"Births in the United States in 1961 are classified for vital statistics into white, Negro, American Indian, Chinese, Japanese, Aleut, Eskimo, Hawaiian and Part-Hawaiian (combined), and "other nonwhite."

I don't see a classification of "African" as presented on Obama's certification of live birth he released. Hmmm.....
