Vatican believes Bush may be the Anti-Christ

I give up. He won't give me straight answer. Which to me means that he has something to hide and he has no basis for calling everyone else "repugnant" and excluding himself. As for "Bush bashing", I see no signs that he thinks republicans are any better. Does anyone know anything about this guy that he isn't telling us? (history, reasons for being chosen for a mod, physcological problems?)

Okay, firstly... Gotta love the Pope, he's quite a cool guy, and yes, Bush was technically brought back from the dead (pretzel incident), and remember the Anti-Christ reference to a "head" wound (which could either be explained by the cut on his face or his severe mental problems).
Still, though... religion is, in the end, superstition, and the book of Revelations was intended to predict 1st century AD happenings. The Anti-Christ is presumably a reference to the Roman Emperor, and the religion known loosely as the Imperial Cult. The mark of the beast is numerical code for the name of a Roman Emperor. The final nail in the coffin is the apocalypse - end of the Roman Empire. The descriptions of the Horsemen are contemporary, and the Armaggedon alludes to an anciet battlefield (in Israel or Jordan, I believe) called "Magedo". In short... I'm saying this is absolute tosh.

Also, the word "repugnant" has been used far too much in this thread, mainly (and erroneously) as a noun, rather than in its true adjective form.

For example: "The Colonel has gone absolutely f***ing wacko, thereby spouting horrendously repugnant arguments."

Or "this repugnant speel has gone too far".

Consider yourselves owned by the All-Father. So, let's put this topic to rest.

Oh, and just to add for doubly-powerful effect: "Harrmagedo" is translatable to something like "Mount Magedo" or "Magedo's Hill" or something like that in english.

Just to get back to the topic, I am pretty sure that if the Vatican did in fact believe he was the anti-christ they would mention it to the world. I think they would want to ensure that the leader of the free world is somone other than the anti-christ.

As an unrivalled intellectual and inquisitive mind... I have come up with what I call the definitive Theory of Colonelspeak. I conjecture that the Colonel is an exploratory Assnaut, from a universe wholly apart and fundamentally different from our own, where nonsensical words can be made up willy-nilly, where established words can have their meanings and forms completely altered and poisoned with casual fluidity, where grammar is something to be tangled up until it makes one appear as if they're trying to raise some intellectually-charged point.

Why Col. seems to think only white "repugnants" are worth taking down, rather than being an equal oppurtunities liberal. Is it really in our hands for that? I think not, after all this is a privately owned board. What it might come down to is someone higher than you reading all of these posts and making a decision. We can complain all we want and write whomever we want, but the decision to remove you will come from above.

It isn't like Survivor, as much as we dislike your rhetoric we cannot vote you out of the board.
