The Emergence of President Obama's Muslim Roots

As many already know, I am no Obama fan. Indeed, I am soundly the opposite.

Yet in this case, I fail to understand what new information this article reveals?

Could someone point it out, because I'm totally missing it?

In the absence of anything material, using THIS ARTICLE as the basis of support for how Obama is such a liar seems nuts to me.

Trust me, this doesn't help the cause. It just makes legitimate suspicion and distrust appear wacky and fanatical.

Its part of a disinformation and deflection campaign. Create distrust, throw in misinformation, and divide the people against each other to distort the real issues.

The lies, cover-ups and out right scandels are all just designed to make you take your eye off the real deal. Get over all this bullcrap and start blogging real issues.....This country we all love is dying people, if not all ready DOA.....The fight is drawing near and you have to decide if your willing to fight and possably die to breath life back into this nation.

I truely hope there are as many patriots here as claimed, we are gonna need ya!

Ah, Obama is such a chameleon. You can't just tell what he really is. Some people thinks he's a muslim, some thinks he's a liberal, others think he's a communist. Have you ever heard a liberal communist muslim? Obama is indeed very good.. at confusing people.

Of course the situation does bear the question: Which do you think the Islamic extremists will find more offensive a Christian President or a President that having grown up learning the teachings of Muhammad ends up rejecting them for Christianity?

Religion is not a race. Religions encompass many races.

I saw this story when it broke on Drudge, but refrained from using it or commenting until now.

It reminds me of when I first joined ATS last year.

Obama had revealed his disdain for U.S. troops, following his callous use of their mementos during his campaign. I had just finished the second of his books and was disgusted by the public face he presented in contrast to the revelations in the 2 books.

So, one of my first threads had to do with the F.O.B.s, "Friends of Barack."

The incident with Stephanopoulos and the host's correction of Obama's "gaffe"/slip was the impetus for me to offer my $0.02.

In part, here's what I said last year:

Fear is selling this country down the river.

They propitiate fear and ignorance in this culture, they brainwash the masses into feeding from two sides of the same trough.

They are blinding you to the real issues, this isn't one of them. This is propaganda. Please see it for what it is and think for yourselves.

If religion is an issue with a politician this country as a whole has failed.

That is what our founding fathers fought against. They fought against oppression they fought against tyranny, they fought against the very same things we today see. The exception is that today we are distracted by the media who tell us what to believe.

Every President has had a religious leaning, This leaning tells them what they should do is right or wrong. Does it matter what religion it is that the president abides by? After all the dogma of all these religions are primarily the same.

And for the poster that propagated that Obama would incite Shara Law? Oh my god how ignorant is that? Obama signs laws, he does not make them.

to people saying so what if he is a muslim, lets hold hands and sing together. How can you not see the potential danger in that. A man in a position of power such as this with sympathetic leanings could strip away our protection and embolden our enemies. After all it is Muslims that seem to of declared war on the world, I don't know why it's followers become so radical, but they do, not all, but enough do that they are a threat to the well being of this world. Not saying BO has nefarious intentions, but damnit, what if he did, we shouldn't be so stupid to put our self in a situation like this.

If he does have faith in Islam, even if he shares faith in both christianity and islam then he should of been up front about it and won or lost with that in mind. There is no excuse for decieving people. But we are still assuming at this point, we have a right to see his college records, that is when people are most true to themselves, we would be able to tell just who this man is, I hate that we still don't even know who are president is. It infuriates me!

But even if he calls himself Christian, he does not have a Christian name and under Sharia law anyone born to a Muslim father is a Muslim, no if's and's or but's about that, so to a Muslim he is a Muslim. So whether or not he considers himself Muslim and/or Christian, we most definately have a Muslim/Christian president. Add that to the fact that their are so many kept secrets about him and we have our self's uncertainty and legitimate reason to worry.

That's how I feel. Lots of people are looking to prove that Obama is a musllim.. But if he's a muslim, I don't care. I understand why someone would hide that fact, since there's obviously a trend towards assuming Islam is bad, and that Muslims are just blood thirsty freedom haters.

Hm, I don't see where it say's, If your Muslim, Buddhist, Judaism, Shinto, etc you cannot step foot here. How intolerant some of you are. Lets dig a bit into your backgrounds and see if you come from 100% christian backgrounds.

Lets take just one Non-Christian religion and see how many have served in our White House, in our American Government under the Bush administration, Lets Take the Jewish for instance:

- Chief of Staff
- Press Secretary
- Speech Writer
- Attorney General
- Deputy secretary of Defense
- 7 Ambassadors
- and more

One of those people could very easily have run for President and won! How would you feel if a person of Judaic faith was running this country? Its certainly not Christianity. How would you feel then?


What is so hypocritical is a huge majority of ATS'ers flame one for saying anything about the bible truths, or Christian beliefs, but wow if it can be used as fodder against Obama, then hey were all Christians and will use that title to justify our hatred.

As far as a President telling lies.. well he is a politician it sort of goes along with the job, but Oh NO, obama must be above that.,

Yes, they all have lied. However, it looks like Obama might be the biggest deceiver of all. These allegations against him are pretty damning when you look at the consequences that would arise if they turned out true.

Does the name Barry Soetoro mean anything to anyone here? Strangely, when you wiki the name it redirects to the current President of the USA.

That's a piss poor reason to let Obama get away with telling lies ... because he's popular and he's a politician so it should be expected.

Next time a popular non-democrat comes along, wonder if you all will let him or her get away with lies simply because 'it's to be expected'? Somehow, I highly doubt it.

Newsflash - he ran on 'change, hope, unity, transparency'. He ran on - 'i'm not like everyone else'. He lied. Exposing lies isn't being 'intolerant' of his religion or his skin color .. it's just being intolerant of lies.
