You are not going to Hell.

I admit I am a Christian; however you will not go to Hell, unless you have killed someone. You still wouldnt go to Hell if you did and asked for forgiveness. Sounds weird but true.

Repeat you will not go to Hell. I dont know what Valhall thinks. Just my opinion.

Ok I'll make it simple. Yes or No, am I going to hell?

I have no idea. What is hell?

Sorry, not one of the options. I don't buy it that you do not know what hell is. Yes or No am I going to hell?

From a Christian perspective, yes, if you haven't accepted Christ.

Wow, ok so... as a christian does it not disturb them that a super being they pray to is going to condemn millions up millions of people to eternal torture? Is that not proof enough that there is mental illness at work here?

The motto of this site is "Deny Ignorance."
I like it.

To be closed to other's ideas is a form of ignorance.
To be intent on completely dismantling another's ideas is ignorance.
If we can openly, and civilly discuss various religious topics and have input from both side without being disrespectful is incredibly powerful.

Sadly some of the threads can spiral out of control as one side or another gets too emotional.

I will argue the validity of some of the stories that some christians throw out there as fact. They in turn may eventually find something within their faith that counters my thoughts on the matter. It's all good. So long as it's real discussion and not just throwing barbs.

I'll keep listening/reading and maybe one day I'll learn something to my advantage. In the meantime, I'll actively argue the validity of some of the magical stuff in the books that just can't be real but is sold a truth.

No, it isn't disturbing because God doesn't send people to Hell, people do by not repenting. God wants everyone to receive salvation but can't give it to people who reject Him.

I took a lot of Philosophy of Religion and Theology courses in College. All my professors said Atheism is not a religion. A fool can figure that much.

Maybe you mistaking Atheists with Satanism. They are different. Atheists dont believe in either.

I'd like to respond to this. In a couple of ways:

1. What is hell?
2. Why did you just ask that guy who shared his BELIEF with you (not fact but HIS belief - i.e. it is a fact to him because he has accepted it as a fact based on belief, but if you have stated you reject it based on unbelief then it has no factual basis in your life) if his BELIEF points to condemnation of millions when, in fact, his belief is that the millions have exercised their free moral agency and CHOSEN a final outcome???

Why would you turn the tables of your decision (based solely in HIS belief, not yours) on him and his God?

That's pretty confusing.

p.s. What is hell?

I have not nor ever will accept Jesus as my savior. If no one in the church can determine from that if I am going to hell or not, well.. seems odd

No, I'm not confusing them. lol I'm glad your professors agree. Apparently they don't constitute the whole of humanity.

The irony! You're bending over backwards to turn this thread into a religious discussion by asking theological questions. Even YOU want to discuss religion. Your thread is moot.

I assume your pastor brings it up frequently, the new question is now how can you not know what hell is? Still not buying it. Grow a pair already and tell me I am going to hell.

Well if you haven't accepted Jesus then from a Christian perspective you are going to Hell. There's nothing more to it.

Not quite, I went of on a tangent. Vauxhill or whatever the name is took offense to being told he is 'epic fail', I thought that funny as he believes we're all going to burn in hell. I was trying to make him admit this but he chickened out. he knows I'm going to hell but will not say it.

I wish to point some things out in order for you to understand my posts. The world on what we live on is full of a lot of things.. and yes religion is one of them but were did it come from what started it? was it "biblical" god? in the books people read around the world? was it just, oh well we are here and the universe is divine and created humans? What about history? aliens ? masons? so many questions

But what i find interesting is all the questions are about humans not about life it self

why is that? what is life? what is its job? why would god(s) or "creation" of life it self? be needed?

I know many people think or want to know why but look at nature?

was YOU me and YOU here be for that 100 year old tree? what reason is needed for that tree? or that butterfly? because of humans?

correct me if im wrong here but did we not get made AFTER the planet? or was that my entire education was in correct to someone who thinks of God as being the all knowing ?

what would that mean? we argue over the same thing? WHY is the problem not the answers but the very reason to ARGUE and HOLD views would require what?

LIFE

this is the common denominator of it all ..

and life has bugger all to do with HUMANS but the very reason WHY life? what is its function?

to answer a question you did not ask
and you will never know it

Sorry to just put that out here but i find it important to understand why people hold views they do

questions is why, its how your brain works and your universe

have a nice day

A RELIGIOUS Tangent asking a RELIGIOUS question about a RELIGIOUS belief. Even you can't resist.

I don't care what inspired your RELIGIOUS tangent. All I saw was that you went off on one. As the champion for this new policy I would think you would fly your banner and be an example.

Now THAT is an EPIC FAIL.

I'm sure hell has a special place set aside for angry trolls who attempt online to make themselves superior to anyone of faith.

Some people are on a mission to defame religion, though they do not understand that it only strengthens that faith when they do.

No matter what side of this argument you may be on, the true path that all should follow is that of respect of others views and faiths, or lack thereof.

Those who only want to stomp on a person of faith are simply lost souls lashing out at what they do not have the ability to understand.

Saying that a religion is a mental illness is as logical as saying that the lack of religion is a mental illness.

It is the same game played out with believers in aliens and UFOs, and it gets just as personal.

When will the goddamned people (religious and non) of this world learn the most important thing of all?

Respect!

I'll ignore your pair business. I have a concept of hell. That concept is personal to me. It is part of my belief system. I doubt seriously that many people agree with it, but that's beside the point. What is the point is that you have asked an ambiguous question about whether you are going to hell (a question I wonder why you think any of us can actually answer, btw). How in the hell (pun not intended) can we even proffer a response if we don't know what "hell" means to you? I'm not assuming for a minute your asking about my hell, his hell or anybody else's hell...what the hell hell are you asking about?

If you can't dedicate enough energy to clarifying that, then why do you think any of can even respond? (Although, I already have and said "I have no idea." and you still didn't give me the courtesy of answering my question that has been asked several times now.)

Wait a minute, not only do you want to ban all people who don't believe like you, but now you're lying! I never said anyone was going to burn in hell. WTF are you up to now?

You pretend to not know what Hell is. O.K

Theological Hell is not receiving life after death. The Literal projection is fire and brimstone.

Now you know.

very well said !!

this is the main problem!! people just cant say OK well your right and i am right and you are wrong and i am wrong

NO ONE KNOWS

this is the point is it not? so respect each others NOT knowing

Unless 2 things happen

it changes the question OR we all go to hell / void, whatever your view is

It will happen
