I'm referring to several 1-liners and posts that doesn't help the discussion from several different members, i.e. it was a general reminder.

For what it's worth, yesterday in another thread Internos linked to this discussion of a series of NZ sightings that has always intrigued me.

I don't expect an appearance from my intelligent friend Phage on this thread, as I see that he has been posting quite diligently on a couple of other threads in the past few days.

I, too, enjoy his knowledge. Maybe his name in the Title put too much pressure on him

Have you ever came across vids and pics that had you completely stumped? If so, please share. We would love to see

As a skeptic who has bothered to look, I have seen many pictures and footage of UFOs most of which is explainable. I thought the Great Falls, Montana fottage of 1950 quite interesting however, but enough to conclude the ETH.

Well I sent him a 'nudge'

As to hours spent... this thread has saved me weeks digging through all of ATS for 'best case' files

Tough luck

Of course he's seen it!! Are you kidding me? We all know that guy only comes to a battle with his guns loaded and here there is no battle; he's being asked to come to us stumped and we know NOTHING stumps him!

all jokes aside this was still a fun thread containing a treasure trove of great cases that could give any so-called skeptic slash debunker a toughie.

a deserved bump.

He knows I asked him to come to the Mexican UFO thread that has over 500 flags already

Just a hunch

I don't have anything to say. But I'll say it anyway.

The OP asked if there are videos or images that have stumped me. My answer is that I can generally come up with a "mundane" explanation. When I can't, to my own satisfaction, I'll see what others think about it. As is seen, my (and others') explanations often don't satisfy everyone. I have to add that to my mind, "mundane" does not necessarily mean boring. I don't find ISS passes or planets transiting SOHO images boring in the least.

But there are also cases where there is just not enough information contained in the video (or image) or provided about it to make any sort of rational analysis or even an educated guess. It may be faked, it may be a perfectly ordinary occurrence viewed from an unusual aspect, it may be an unusual but natural phenomenon, it may even be a "genuine" UFO. In these cases there's not really any point. My opinion (or anyone's) would mean nothing. I don't consider that being stumped.

Thanks Phage, only popped back in to see your responce....and it was a Phageism to say the last
Which i thoroughly enjoy always

Can we make it a new ATS term?
Instead of rational thought processes....
"Phageism"

Ahh, there you go. Thanks for the response Phage.
I think though some would have loved to see a video that had made you rather puzzled.
But if there are none...then that is fine for me. You responded atleast.

Cheers.

I didn't say I haven't been puzzled. Did I?
The question used the word "stumped".

474 flags...not bad, not bad at all.

That video is definitely on of the most unique of any UFO videos I've seen. I'm not sure if it deserves the blue ribbon for number of flags on ATS, but it's very believable, unlike some others (like the Haiti UFO hoax video).
