Terrorism crap is pumped out by the media over and over. People who have difficulty thinking for themselves soak this up like a sponge.

This type of media "garbage-spreading" applies to many subjects, like health, health care, and other things.

In the end some people end up being patriotic to the media, not to the country they seek to be patriotic to.

This is why I have found that before engaging in these kinds of topics, in any environment it may be...one must make absolutely sure the conversation is at the right angle to approach. If not, after much observation, there is no entrance on such a topic. Wear the mask is what I say. And that may be the one best way we can be assured we will survive what is to come.

What do you want a bunch of “red necks” to think when they are being exposed to “controversial” ideas, by a 28 year old guy …. with a Russian name ?  The only logical conclusion in that bar was that you were either a “commie” or…. a “terrorist”. :-)
Now, CONGRATULATIONS for speaking up and “educating” people who can’t tell their head from their ass. At the same time keep in mind that in psychology there is something called “cognitive dissonance” .
It represents the unpleasant emotion/feeling someone may experience when “confronted” ( because “confronting” is… what you did that night)… WITH IDEAS THEY DISAGREE WITH . You confronted a group ( not a good idea in itself ) and…. ( here comes the second mistake),… YOU GAVE THEM MORE THAN THEY WERE ABLE TO CHEW OR SWALLOW. In other words you forced them to experience ….”cognitive dissonance” , a feeling rather unpleasant at times.
As a result they reacted in the only possible manner. They ganged up against you !
While I appreciate your desire to share info with them and “educate them”, and while the intention was great, next time you may chose to do things … a bit differently.
1. Present the material in small pieces… “one at the time”.
2. Make sure people have accepted “your info” before you “hit them” with the next piece.
3. Use “questions” instead of “statements” . It is much better to ask questions ( to which you know already what the answer could be ) and have the other person either give you the answer, or profess their ignorance and… ASK YOU ….WHAT YOU ARE TALKING ABOUT ?
4. At that point… THEY ASKED YOU FOR INFORMATION and as such WILL ACCEPT WHAT YOU TELL THEM ….DIFFERENTLY.
5. Again at all times … GAUGE THEIR ABILITY TO “ACCEPT “ ….WHAT YOU’RE TELLING THEM.
6. Feed them “small pieces” and ….leave them with a “cliffhanger” by telling them that if they want to know more you may meet again the next evening except ( and smile  here ) … THEY WILL HAVE TO BUY YOU THE DRINKS.
7. Next night you will appear already ….AS SOMEONE THEY KNOW ALREADY and as such you’ll find them more inclined to listen to your story.

Before 911, Osama remarked on how the fuel or something would melt the support beams of the tower, so he obviously had something to do with it. We can't expect to right all wrongs in our lifetime, that is a job for someone else. All I know is, nobody is taking my guns without a fight, and very soon there is about to be another big fight over energy, fuel, land, and religion as the world's population grows too big to feed itself, and corruption enslaves too many. People need something(anything)to believe in, bottom line.
They substitute nationalism for patriotism and cannot imagine the ptb
ever having their own agenda. They need to feel important.
This need to belong to a group and to be told what to believe, is a
powerfull, overriding force to those who are lazy minded anyway.
They imagine subconsciously that their whole belief system will break down if they even look into it. These are touchy subjects.
If you threaten this "belief system" they react, sometimes violently.
People have been conditioned into this for years,
it shouldn't be a surprise to us now!

All you ever need to do is mention just one word anyway: bailouts!
Or..if they are older, watergate or iran/contra or japanese american internments.
Pearl harbor is not a good one to bring up, trust me!
Then sit back and let them tell YOU how the country's goin' to h***!

On 9/11 the television station I watched had live coverage flipping back and forth between the WTC and the Pentagon.

The second I saw the Pentagon I realized that it was impossible that a Jetliner had crashed there for all the reasons that Truthers now know.

From that moment until this I have talked about 911 events with hundreds and perhaps more than a thousand people.

These encounters have run the gauntlet of responses and over the years I've learned a little about people's responses to the Truth.

I've learned that it's best to talk about these things in small pieces in order for the unawakened to absorb and perhaps retain the smallest glimmer of Truth for later recall.

Anyone that has tried to talk to people about 9/11 will realize the tough going this has been especially from the early days when nobody had figured it out and I was a "terrorist" to them.

I have seen people literally rush to the nearest telephone and presumably report me to whoever, and thus, my file has grown with TPTB.

For many years in the beginning I could expect to find myself sitting on a airplane with an FBI agent sitting next to me (or Sky Marshall) and I would be questioned and then followed through the airport to bathroom and baggage etc. etc.

And also, have come to expect lost baggage and extensive Customs searches of my luggage (and my computer) in the rudest possible manner.

Fortunately for me, I was a twice wounded War Hero and somehow I got the idea that I paid my dues and I was entitled to expressions of Free Speech. A right that many of my friends actually died for.

I also well remember the Oath I took to "protect and defend" and as with any Oath, I took it seriously when I was shooting and being shot at, and still take it seriously today.

In my opinion, the Truthers are the truest of Patriots and I know will be telling people about 911 until the day I die, or until we get an honest investigation.

Basically I've given up on telling people anything beyond what I know for sure to be truth and I never mention the government inside job or the many many specifics... which we all know now.

Therefore, what I know for sure is there's no Jetliner wreckage at the Pentagon and the photos prove it; and I know that WTC 7 didn't fall down by itself, and that's pretty obvious from the videos also.

That's as much as I'll say to anyone while pumping gas or standing in line at some store. And it's my "small talk" whenever a stranger passes off my nose for a minute.

If the person has an open mind I'll write out a few internet addresses for them to check out, and maybe a few more facts if they're interested.

Clearly, these two events are easy to research and once a person sees the obvious it likely an easy downhill search from there for them.

I've learned the hard way that that most sheeple are ignorant fools
and probably always will be and I don't waste much energy on them.

I also feel that the imbeciles among us are not worth saving and I waste no energy on them, and damn little on the others. Their Karma will take care of them and that's not my job anyway.

However, over the years I've literally had hundreds of people come back to me and say, "Hey, I checked it out and you were exactly right," so I know I've had some impact.

So my advice to any Truther, or potential Truther, is to keep talking to people and keep fighting the good fight... but quietly, small step by small step, because there's a lot of crazy people out there.

And also, I mention the Zogby Poll statistics....BUT... I wonder why there's not a more current Poll ? And, whatever happened to the NYC voter's initiative ? Are we're really making any progress ?

I hope these 911 organizations are flooding the Obama administration with Freedom of Information requests so the Truth will out ? But I don't know if that's happening either ???

I also have to admit that I enjoy sticking these unconscious pigs a little bit when I see their rigid closed minds.

I've lost jobs and friends over 9 11 truth, but truth is a very jealous lover, and once you have begun, you'll put no one above Her, until your work is done.

I'm not sure that it happening in a bar is much of a factor really . The whole 9/11 thing , just like support the troops , is based on as much emotional manipulation as well as the usual disinfo and propaganda. The 9/11 / whole war on terror deal is couched in an appeal to the sensibilities , fears , preconceptions and otherwise emotional facets of the target audience ( US public) , rather than towards analytical appraisal and discussion. So when you touch on this subject , right off you are up against one of the main , if not only, pillars of their reasonings on the subject ... their emotions . This kind of response could have happened anywhere .

alyosha1981, where exactly is this bar? What is the name of the bar? Local bar partrons often know eachother, including their politcal views. If it is near Denver, I'd expect the locals to be Republicans, and in step with the RNC. It is truly a crime when said pinheads threaten someone for speaking. That is what you did; speak. I have heard similar threats/rants/accusations from so called Liberals, many of whom are not close to being liberals, as they are *not* accepting of other people's opinions, beliefs, convictions, etc. You may be ostrasized by either party, religious group, group of bar patrons, or any other "club"; agree with them or be outcast. Independents are usually more tolerating of other's political views. SPEAK UP or the country is gone!

Note: For fun, check out this. I did a simple web search after hearing my friend Dave in NJ, circa 2003, say "five Hispanics beat up Arabs...for singing and dancing..." on September 11, 2001, while the "Arabs" were "barbequing" as the towers fell. I was immediately suspicious of Dave's comment. I know Arabs, and they do not "barbeque", generally. Americans do. At that time, I did not truly know how to do a "web search". What I found was remarkable. These are the words I used for my web-search; "Hispanics, 9/11, New Jersey, Arabs, singing, dancing", as this was what Dave said. Near the top of the page was a story of Israeli Nationals (Jews) dancing, high-fiving and photographing or video taping the destruction of the World Trade Center towers, from the NJ shore! That's what I remember now, May 23, 2009.

Update: For convenience, I have done a similar websearch for you. Here are the "new" search words; "new jersey, liberty state park, urban moving systems, white van, israeli nationals, september 11, 2001, dancing, high fiving".

The Real Terrorists

It may be true that a 15 year old arab child, whose parents were killed during the Intefada, who had nothing left to live for, who had nothing to give his life meaning, other than to strap 5 kilos of plastique to his chest and walk into a checkpoint for Allah is a terrorist. And justice is supposedly served when this child's grandmother's ancestral home was bulldozed into the ground..

Now we are being led to believe by the head of Homeland Security that United States Veterans may be considered threats as domestic terrorists...

I thought about this "terrorism" rubbish this morning for quite a while, and, it seems that the real TERRORISTS never get punished... and I would personally prefer to have been killed at that checkpoint that endure the slow agonizing death dealt to us by the real terrorists.

The real terroists are the ones who stole your retirement funds, your 401K, the pension fund bandits, The ENRONs, the forclosure scoundrels.

Consider a slow agonizing death, sick, penniless, eating catfood because your meager life savings, that you worked your whole life as a slave for...... working always trying to make ends meet...and to take care of your obligations as a parent...now it is GONE.

Stolen because fat cats who gave millions through lobbyists, essentially as 'protection money' are never fully prosecuted in this country. Although I don't buy into a lot of the 9/11 "conspiracy" theories, esp. the ones that involve bombs planted in the buildings, I still don't think this was at all justified in the slightest. "Terrorism" just by discussing something? Just because it got heated? That's too much,too extreme. It just goes to show how far the country has fallen,especially after 9/11, when paranoia infiltrated everything. Explains why the Gitmo closure thing has come under fire too.
