Actually - our magnetic field has decreased in strength - there are many scientific papers on it.

the difference in the papers are the amount it has decreased - one has 10% - another has 40%. There are various reasons attributed towards it too.

link:
www.popularmechanics.com...

Jeremy Bloxham of Harvard University told scientists at one of the meetings of the American Geophysical Union that the Earth's magnetic field decreased by 10 percent during the past 150 years.” Of course “reversals are rapid events, at least on geologic time scales." The spokesman for the National Science Foundation (NSF), which funded Clement's work is absolutely right and the unbelievable rotation of the magnetic nucleus connected to the EB geo-transfer only; (movement of fiery outer nucleus masses into asthenosphere, from E geo-sphere into B geo-sphere) The secret of the permanently decreasing protective magnetic field is permanently hardening of metals and formation magnetic crystals into outer nucleus and caused by permanent increasing of the huge pressure in the outer nucleus. In the conditions of high temperature and permanently increasing pressure, permanently additional metallic particles can overcome the Curie point. Produced new metallic and magnetic crystal can easily gravitating by magnetic G nucleus.

now this is the most interesting part of the same paragraph (very long) that is under the above section.............

the dangerous and dead full event on the Earth can produce kilometers high tsunamis. 50÷90 percent of the fauna can die by the attack of global geocatastrophe. Rapid drift of all continental platforms can change costal zones. Some islands and peninsulas fully or partially are sinking under influence global tectonic forces during a global flood. Same forces can create new islands and peninsulas as well and some islands and peninsulas can become much wider. Most interesting is the post-event situation around G-nucleus. Rapidly decreased pressure around G-nucleus produces partially or fully melting and mixing of sediment particles (F-layer) around the rotated inner nucleus into the outer nucleus. The melted F crystals loss magnetism become liquid and are mixing into outer nucleus once again. The melting process of F-opposite magnetic crystals produces increasing of the main magnetic field of the G nucleus few times.

still from same link:

Same forces can create new islands and peninsulas some islands and peninsulas can become much wider. Disappear secret of the Atlantis and surrounded small islands are global readjustment of isostatic balance between lithosphere platforms of continents and oceans. Penetration of outer nucleus masses into Asthenosphere and on the crust allowing a planet to be not exploded by inner pressure (cosmogeologycal) forces. 23,000± B.C. - Seems to be evidence for a DNA "bottleneck" in which only a couple of thousand people survived some form of disaster (global geo-catastrophe). 10,400 B.C. - According to reports in Nature and New Scientist, the last geomagnetic reversal was completed. Next reversal is expected in 2030 AD. 2060 AD. – Next geo-catastrophe predicted by our genius Sir. Isaac Newton.

another link with another amount of decrease:www.creationresearch.org...

Says 15% in that link - I am not able to copy anything because it is in PDF.

With calculations thus confirming Ryskin's suspicions, there were also time and space correlations - specific indications of the integral relationship between the oceans and our magnetospheric buffer. For example, researchers had recorded changes in the intensity of current circulation in the North Atlantic; Ryskin shows that these appear strongly correlated with sharp changes in the rate of geomagnetic secular variation ('geomagnetic jerks').

another very interesting site for those who want to know more about the magnetosphere and the workings of it.

Interesting articles.

The difference between 10% and 40% is a fair discrepancy in my opinion.

It seems that we still have a lot to learn.

Well at least the sunspot will be gone soon but can the coronal hole cause us any problems?

That's big

Heres a picture of a Coronal Hole from back in April

I never paid any attention to the sun until a few days ago and as far as i can remember, I never heard anything about that Coronal Hole on he news. Also it was told to me by Phage, Who seems extremely knowledgeable about this subject that...

Coronal holes are very common. In fact they are a more or less permanent feature of the Sun. They are the primary movers of the Solar Wind. It is my understanding that while the increase in solar wind caused by coronal holes does affect the magnetosphere, the effects are usually mild in comparison to flares and CMEs.

tried to edit my last post to add.

Several days ago, the sun's rotation carried another coronal hole to the far side of the sun. It followed shortly behind a previous one on the carousel of the sun's surface. All these holes have caused disturbances on Earth, and will probably continue to do so during future rotations, Murtagh said.

And

Conditions in the active to minor-storm range can cause weak power fluctuations power grids, have minor impacts on satellites and cause auroras that are visible at latitudes as low as 60 degrees. Minor storming can begin to affect migratory animals.

This Coronal Hole doesn't appear to be very big compared to other pictures i have seen of previous ones. So, It shouldn't be much to get worked up about.

Intresting! That underlined quote from that popular mechanics link, describes the same thing in this thread/movie, with tells of a pole shift around 2012.

I'm not getting worried or anything like that whatever the sun dose it will do there is nothing we could ever do to stop that.
I'm new to all this i just want to understand more about it that's all not worried one bit.

Maybe because it is not from Popular Mechanics.

Questioningall seems to have (unintentionally, I'm sure) messed up her quotes.
The underlined quote is not part of the article.

Neither is

The secret of the permanently decreasing protective magnetic field is permanently hardening of metals and formation magnetic crystals into outer nucleus and caused by permanent increasing of the huge pressure in the outer nucleus. In the conditions of high temperature and permanently increasing pressure, permanently additional metallic particles can overcome the Curie point. , or the great majority of what she has quoted. It comes from here www.cosmogeology.ge... and it isn't science.

Check out the most recent image and the increase in pressure on the magnetosphere during the solar eclipse

As forecast, the increase in pressure is a result of an increase in the solar wind produced by a coronal hole several days ago. There has been no unusual geomagnetic activity. The increased pressure should subside over the next few hours.

It has nothing to do with the eclipse. The ACE satellite which provides the data for the simulation is far beyond the orbit of the moon.

Bump, bump, bump.......keep on bumping.

With the last reply being last month i can see why you would want to post this info.........

No attack!! don't get me wrong but the magnetosphere will continue doing this for some time. Are you gonna post every little hickup??

If so, great idea for a never ending thread

Peace

I don't normally reply to you, because of what you post, but I will go ahead and reply this time.

Do you see the heading of this thread?

Well look at some of the headings of other threads that are ongoing, those are the market watch thread - which has been around a very long time because it is the continuation and watch of the market.

Do you go into that thread and ask why they are bumping it?

I doubt it, so why would you do that in this thread?

Oh, I know - because you seem to only be able to post immature comments on anything!

The Magnetosphere if you read the OP - is worth watching and that is what this thread is.

So, there is your answer. If you aren't interested in it, then don't worry about coming in also you will see it was started a few months back - so it is an ongoing thread.

I will post things as I see fit. Especially since our magnetic field seems to not be doing it's job correctly!!

Have an awesome day!! This will probably be my last post, directly acknowledging you or anything you post. I am very good at just bypassing all of your comments now - as I just shake my head and laugh at them.

The magnetic field is collapsed even though we are still getting hit - it is all twisted up

[atsimg]http://files.abovetopsecret.com/images/member/676bd002bfd6.jpg[/atsimg]

Not as much pressure as earlier, but enough that the magnetic field should be flared out
