Hey Neno, I hope it is not because I threw a spin in it!!

I was doing that, just to make the story a little more complicated etc.

Please - I know the real world is more important, I really do hope - things getting better with that, but also, you aren't upset I had you kill Fook.

I vote to have you be placed in the brig or better yet kidnapped! This will give some time until you can return. We have alien empaths, coms experts and psychics that could even catch glimpses of you which would signify that you are still captive, tortured but alive.

I of all people understand how RL can take priority over our work and play here on the forum, so that said , alll the best to you and hurry back to us.

Ifyou work with Father Nature we could even have you do a piece here or there as you find time.

I love your character and how you have established a strong presence aboard the SSPen.

Later friend, Julie

I'm still standing. It ain't that big a deal. A hundred years from now nobody will know, and I've lived through it before. Sorting out trouble is what keeps life interesting anyhow.

My only intent was to give a heads up in case I dropped out of sight for too long, so the story flow didn't get held up. I never thought of a stasis, or any of the other ideas. This is probably why I try to hang out with creative types, eh?

My posts may get sporadic, but I'm trying to not let 'em end altogether, This is where I go for R+R, and recharging!

QA, rest assured that it WASN'T the plot twist. I loved that, gives room for a whole new depth!

Anyhow, I'm going to get caught up on the story, find out who killed, or nearly killed, who today, and see what I can work in. Having this many folks working on the same project gives the story nearly a life of it's own, like it's being pulled out of a collective subconscious. I wouldn't miss that for the world.

Thanks folks for the support, you've already helped more that you know.

Studious - Thanks for all the company you plan on sending my way!

In case of misunderstanding is it possible to get a posts *edit* reopened to do a bit of critical editing?

Thanks!

I'll revamp my post no worries, I didn't realize you had intended Whisper to find you instead of me.

If any editing is required past the two-hour time period, please U2U me the link and edits desired.

Nice to see the Yydryl crew getting funky with flailing tendrils, scented oil pools and growing drama.

Sorry loam for the quick editting on you, Silo had messaged me relaying concerns over inconcsistencies between hers and Scurvy's accounts.

I've altered it so that Whisper discovered SILO and so in your post the only inconsistencies are in my original message to you about me finding it, and about waiting for Whisper, as she would have transported SILO to the DC herself.

When you poked, you must have hit a rib, 'cause I'm still giggling.

I'm going to sit back and watch the fun as this new round gets sorted out!

Edit: just saw where scurvy's quote in loam's post was from the original (unedited) scurvy post, and Whisper isn't in the DC.

We Rigellians are reknowned for our funk and flail dancing. Get used to it

I actually quoted this because it sounded dirty and made me chuckle... "getting funky with flailing tendrils and scented oil pools"...

I'm going to go hoist my mind from the gutter now.

Dear Nature,

please take me out this early in the story. The pace is going much quicker than I anticipated and I find myself unable to keep up with reading all of it. This shortage of time prevents me from posting in line with the story.

I thank nature for allowing me to have a small part in a space-opera that will for sure last thousands of years and anticipate the return of Cadbury to make up for this minor loss.

Thank you.

That's mighty unfortunate. Understandable... but still unfortunate. The Yydryl will miss you when we're lost in deep space, 6000 LY from any hospitable zones with no Navigation Officer.

Getting out is better than contributing poor posts though. This week I`ve had about 1 hour a day online-time, part of which is spent answering emails. It would take me all that to read what was posted, not to mention writing my part.

I´ll try to keep following the story whenever I can though.

"John Q, I know you were in engineering and saw what the Captain has just done. As of this moment you are in command of this vessel."

lol. Ok, things aint looking to good at the moment. I wont be posting till thurs night / friday (work / real life stuff to sort out tomorrow) but unless anyone objects, im taking us home, back to Earth (in my next post).

I think we need to chill out in a docking bay for a bit, repair, find some new crew members / writers (whilst keeping the old ones too)

Like I said if you object, then post here in this thread (today / tomorrow) and I will work around it.

So, my first order as acting Captain... is take the day off tomorrow... or build up the story to us leaving for Earth.

Cheers,

JQ.

But seriously.

I'm not able to post at any time soon - but if I may.

JohnQ - the main reason the halt was ordered in the first place was to prevent the spread of whatever it is on the ship to Earth.

Going back to Earth puts everyone there and the rest of the fleet at risk.

That's the main reason Luder bought 72 hours to keep the ship in one place.
