BH is sending a u2u to all of the nominees. We vote for 6 spots based on who we think would be best to serve on the committee. And, I think we have until this time tomorrow to get the votes in to her.

The list of names above are people who are interested in serving on the DISC committee to try to figure out a way that we can reintroduce drug topics on ATS in valid, conspiracy-related threads, without it degenerating into what they've been seeing recently.

Each one will get a u2u from BH, and each will reply with the names of 6 members from that list who they think would be good member representatives (including themselves if they want)

She will tally votes and the top 6 will be the DISC committee.

And any drug talk in chat, especially coming directly after the site owners announced that there was a no-tolerance policy, was stupid and asking to get chat shutdown.

I take great offense to this. You're hear all of 3 months, and you think you have any idea of what's really going on here? Not to mention, if you actually read the thread, or even the summary thread, you'd know that several of the nominees who are adamantly supporting the freedom to discuss the matter, are actually just as adamantly against drug use/abuse.

If one were tasked with picking "stoners" based solely on their contributions to this thread, and the cognitive effort contained therein, you're name would be close to the top.
