You can vote for yourselves, 5 of the votes will be for someone else. And there are people who don't want to do it, so it will work out. If a person really thinks they should be on the committee, they should be able to vote for themselves.

Sounds fine. If she decides to do it by rank, it's not that difficult, I could point to a website which describes how to do it. (you just have to make a chart and you can use one of two methods, it's not totally bad, but yeah I think approval should be fine, the numbers will just end up being ... well not too bad I guess lol)

Ranking could work for picking a leader at the same time based on the ranking and votes. We would probably want to use borda method. And if we use borda, it's really easy to look at all the runners up in case the admin for some reason doesn't approve of the first 6 choices.

Borda method means that basically everyone gets a certain number of points based on their rank, and you add them up. Say that you rank 1-6 and 1 being most favored, the winner is the one with the lowest total, and on and on until you have your first 6 choices.

Plurality requires basically seeing who was nominated first the most, second the most, third the most, etc. It takes more time than borda.

Guess I shoulda been more clear, the ownership above you guys. The sponsors who pay to advertise, and also dictate what content is acceptable. You guys clearly see green, the way i see it, and that is your right. Like I said, I believe this site to have been bought out by the conspirators, who now have say in what is discussed. But, being a user generated site, I don't come here for the ownership, I come here for the membership.

Okay, so then we use approval. Everyone gets one point, basically, for each time they are voted for. The top 6 are the committee.
