Crazy religious raciest wingnuts are still at it...what a joke. Get over it, there is a black man in the White House and he’s not one of the servants. Obama is the Commander and Chief...If you are in the military and refuse to fulfill your oath you are a traitor to your country.

It's actually part of their training, dinguss. A soldier has every right to disobey an unlawful order. Perhaps you've heard of the Vietnam war, in which war crimes were brought against a great many people. The excuse of "I was just following orders" was not good enough a defense. Same thing with the Nazis. But you already know this right. I mean, you're on the ATS forum so you must be a genius.

Why didn't they demand to see Bush's birth certificate? Did they know he was natural-born just because he's a monumental dumbass?

The governor of Hawaii grew so tired of meeting demands for 'certified birth certificates', he announced following the election no more would be distributed.

Meanwhile, Obama's birth announcement was discovered in a Hawaii newspaper at the time.

The real issue is that the far right hates the idea of an intelligent black man as President.

If Colin Powell had run, I'd have voted for him over the other choices. I hope this ends the ridiculous notion that questioning Obama's eligibility somehow has to do with his almost color.

If Obama changed his stance on abortion and embryonic stem cell research, this scientist would've voted for him guaranteed. Politics has become so heinous of a subject in this country that I vote solely on these two issues. When a president is wrong (like with WMDs) he is forgiven, but when a single soldier is wrong (if he is about Obama's birth certificate) his life will forever be changed in a very bad way.

The problem is that the whole country thinks he's going to be brilliant just because he's black. He's just as likely to mess things up as the next guy. He should be made to prove he was born in the US. Prove it!!

It is STILL his Constitutional obligation to do what he is doing. Notice I didn't say Constitutional right (although it is that also), but rather OBLIGATION. A Certificate of Live Birth is not the same as a Birth Certificate. Why not just show the people of the U.S. that he's CONSTITUTIONALLY ELIGIBLE!

The Certificate of Live Birth IS THE SAME as a birth-certificate. The only difference is that former is shorter than the latter. But in the eyes-of-the-law there is no difference. The CoLB has been established by the State Department to be all one needs to prove citizenship. While one must be a natural-born-citizen, there is no Constitutional proscription on how one proves they fit this requirement nor does the Constitution state one must provide a long-form birth-certificate and only a long-form certificate

The people of the US believe he is eligible (or at least 69 million of the voting public). Those liars demanding his birth-certificate represent a minute fraction of the populace and not the people. The people have spoken and elected Obama President.

If only that were not so much bunk. We all know that is not the case. We would have heard the same arguments; that Powell is not a real citizen and was born outside of the United States because his parents are Jamaican.

So, what you're saying is that I'm a bald-faced liar and a racist? Congratulations! You've officially made my ignore list.

This will be a new thread. But since it relates to this thread I'm going to post a comment about it here...

Major General says president's eligibility needs proof

Now retired Maj. Gen. Carroll D. Childers has submitted a statement to Taitz and her DefendOurFreedoms.us website, agreeing to be a plaintiff in her pending action.

"I agree to be a plaintiff in the legal action to be filed by Orly Taitz, Esq. in a petition for a declaratory judgement (sic) that Barack Hussein Obama is not qualified to be president of the U.S., nor to be commander in chief of the U.S. armed forces, in that I am or was a sworn member of the U.S. military (subject to recall)," he wrote.

If recalled, he would be "unable to follow any orders given by a constitutionally unqualified commander in chief, since by doing so I would be subject to charges of aiding and abetting fraud and committing acts of treason," he wrote.

In an accompanying letter, Childers said, "What I really want is the truth; is Obama a natural born citizen of the United States. If not a natural born citizen, America has been defrauded and then we would be stuck with Joe Biden whose only redeeming attribute is that he is probably not a communist."

He said he is an engineer after serving for 38 years in Vietnam, the Persian Gulf, Operation Desert Storm and other locations.

Bitter much, Major General? Joe has more redeeming qualities besides probably not being a communist. He's from Delaware, a sales tax-free state. It's a good state and I enjoy it especially since he's no longer representing the state. Also, he's quite entertaining. For example, here are some of his quotes:

"Look, John's last-minute economic plan does nothing to tackle the number-one job facing the middle class, and it happens to be, as Barack says, a three-letter word: jobs. J-O-B-S, jobs."

"A man I'm proud to call my friend. A man who will be the next President of the United States — Barack America!" --Joe Biden, at his first campaign rally with Barack Obama

"There's only three things he mentions in a sentence -- a noun, a verb, and 9/11." --Joe Biden, on Rudy Giuliani

"I mean, you got the first mainstream African-American who is articulate and bright and clean and a nice-looking guy. I mean, that's a storybook, man." --Joe Biden on Barack Obama

"You cannot go to a 7-11 or a Dunkin' Donuts unless you have a slight Indian accent.... I'm not joking." --Joe Biden

"You know, I'm embarrassed. Do you know the Web site number?" he asked an aide standing out of view. "I should have it in front of me and I don't. I'm actually embarrassed."

"We've already set up a Web site, Recovery.com, which will show where and how the money is being spent," he said, apparently unaware that the government has its own domain. Before a government tweak last Friday, Recovery.com directed Web users to a commercial research company.

Do people expect him to give a speech or something holding up his birth certificate? Please. If he goes out of his way to answer this worn out accusation, people will find some way to discredit him anyway and he will just be legitimizing the very people who will say anything to bring him down.

You guys can continue to try and undermine our president with your baseless accusations. Have fun. The rest of us are rolling up our sleeves and trying to work harder to get us out of this mess.

John McCain was not an American citizen either. He is a U.S. citizen NOT born before the ratification of the Constitution so he as well was not eligible for the office of President. Do any of you ever read the Constitution? A soldier indeed has all the right in the world to disobey an order if he "believes" it is erronious or a false flag op. There is never a need for war in the first place. Behold a Pale Horse. The Protocals of the Priory of Zion. Read and research people. WTF? I can not stand people who shoot their mouth off and do not know what they are talking about. Be neutral and speak the truth.

All wars have been perped by the Military Industrial Complex for world domination, control and for profit to Israel.

The Heebs need to get rid of the Muslims so they can rebuild King Solomons Temple on Temple Mound where the Muslim Shrine "Dome of the Rock" sits. They can't destroy the Muslim Shrine if we care at all for the religions of all people. Wake up and smell the coffee.

'saint'.....do you REALLY want to open THIS Pandora's box????

After eight years of 'Bushisms'??

Besides....laughing at politcal gaffes are fun, and fairplay....but have NO PLACE in this particular discussion!!!!

TOPIC: A soldier 'doubts' President Barack Obama's 'elegibility'.

Let me understand this for a moment....this STORY is about the SOLDIER!!!

Irrespective of the 'Top', there is STILL a chain of command. Right?
So, if this 'soldier', whatever his/her rank, disobeys his/her immediate Commanding Officer.....the he/she has 'broken' the chain....and should pay the consequences. BECAUSE....the government will continue to operate, even if the top FIVE were incapacitated all at once....who's CIC now??? Well, there are plenty of other layers of the command structure to fill in, isn't there?

AND, yes....hi-tek.....either a Courts Martial, or....an old dodge, the 'concientious objector'....sorry for the spelling.

Sorry for calling it a 'dodge'....let's say this: IF a person, who has been in a battle theatre, and was there under the 'jurisdiction' of a previous CIC, aka 'Bush'....then, suddenly, this person decides that because there is a new CIC he/she wants out....and wishes to use the most tenuous of reasons.....well, Military Justice will have their plates full on this one!!!
