DHS is offering a $5000 bonus for the lumpkin, GA location.

This is in the middle of freakin nowhere, without a border, port of entry, or iliegal alien within miles....

WTF?

edit to add, this area is the home of Providence Canyon, with the famous "South Glory Hole"

You know what? This whole NWO thing really seems a bit over-the-top to me. I mean this country is HUGE! It stretches from sea to shiny sea! We have hundreds of millions of people here and we are the marketplace of the world. Our society and its functioning are extremely complex and interwoven. If the NWO is going to overturn all of this and replace it with some rediculous fascist nightmare it is going to have global repercussions of both political and economic proportions. Beyond that it is going to rip the fabric of American existence into tatters and let loose chaos on the globe. I really doubt that they have the necessary forces to control the anarchy some claim they are determined to unleash upon us all. I mean, seriously, how large of a committed force would you need to quell and subdue 600 million pissed off people? How are you going to replace the existing societal support systems with those of your own design in an expediant fashion when the country is so very very large and your plans have destroyed the existing infrastructure? Since it is doubtful that the NWO troops can be everywhere all the time there are bound to be a lot of pockets of strong resistance to the NWO scattered throughout the country, as well as resistance within the secured cities and concentration camps.
Are the NWO really better off with a protracted geurilla war on their hands? What is the goddam point of destroying America anyway since you already control anything worth having? To sum it all up I think that, logistically, any effort by the NWO to enslave America would take a rediculously enormous amount of energy and be a total waste of funds, besides. Like I already stated, they already control everything anyway. What's the point?

It's stuff like this that keeps me buying ammo whenever I can. I'll be armed to the teeth when the SHTF. Make sure your friends have guns too or have some extras. Go shooting with them and get some practice (and have fun). A well regulated militia might need establishing, but a poor determined one might have to do. There will be pockets of patriots everywhere.

How many cameras are you on during any given day? The store, atm, trasportation, freeway, restaurants, gas stations. With all these cameras and tracking abilities, this country is getting smaller everyday.

People will refuse to see the truth until every last drop can be squeezed at the State level. Then the big hurt is coming. California is already there, staged and prepped. Many States are soon to follow.

Food will be the next weapon they utilize, and the dollar will be just a useless piece of paper. Without food then what? Even with food within reach how will you purchase it, your useless federally overprinted paper money will buy you what?

Then what?

I had mistakenly said: military bases in a reply post, I should not have used those words, here are the words directly from sec 2 of bill:

national emergency centers on military installations.

(b) Purpose of National Emergency Centers- The purpose of a national emergency center shall be to use existing infrastructure--

I have put this back in here in this reply, is to state..... take a good look at the "existing infrastructure" and the fact it is "military installations".

I wanted to make sure, everyone saw that.... due to the fact the bill says and now puts in place and legitamizes the existing camps, we have seen in the youtube vids and now we DO KNOW they are "military installations"

For those of you, who may not have seen the vids of what this bill is now trying to get legalized - here is one..... for your viewing enjoyment.

This bill was originally killed in 2007. Now it appears to be back again. I am not sure but this is not simply preparation for a Katrina-style disaster. FEMA was very embarassed by what happened in New Orleans (as they should be). And this may be their response. However, we should all remain vigilant but not paranoid. The economic situation is quite serious and I think the government is getting increasingly nervous. I think the resources of the government are too limited to initiate some of the widespread roundups of citizens described - and the government is far from capable of being involved in any sort of massive cover up on this scale. More likely, the government has not really got a clue as to what is going on or how to fix it. Which in some ways is even more scary.

There is a "throw everything at it" mentality right now. Maybe these camps are just part of that. I don't know. Just stock your food and do what you can. That is all you can do.

(4) to meet other appropriate needs, as determined by the Secretary of Homeland Security

If Congress passes this one they are giving the Secretary of Homeland Security
an inordinate and dangerous amount of power over our rights, freedoms and safety .

So what are these camps proof of?

Before the question was if these camps even existed..
Now for what they will be used for is up for debate..

Many people had claimed there where no such camps..
This is proof that indeed these camps are there.. And all over the place.

Yeah, damn good point.

I made this argument with some people supporting torture. They were saying how these people deserve it and it got us important information. How do you know?

These people rationalizing torture were previously calling everyone a tin-foil-hat wearer for suggesting it. Is this a slippery slope of denial, or are they just twisted people?

The capacity for people to rationalize -- while they talk about having "strong morals." Right. Because it "depends on what people do to us." That moral compass can't point the right way all the time -- because you don't have all the facts.

So now, people who were calling us loony, for suggesting the camps, are trying to explain why they are so damn useful. Then they try and explain how "razor wire protects you."

I wonder if some people are fundamentally different from me. Like crazy is the norm, and only a few of us are rational -- it's scary. Maybe these crazy people just make more noise.

>> Fundamentally, I think the problem here is that society can be slowly moved to unacceptable things in the same manner that you can boil a frog if you slowly raise the temperature of the water. The frog, and many people, won't think to hop out.

Does anyone actually know ANYTHING that Homeland security has done, other than waste lots of money, and pay for those prostitutes at the Watergate Hotel?

Vitriol - excuse all the edits - I'm new on forum.

"Prostitutes" I'm sure were considered "appropriate needs"

"FEMA" is a shadow government. In a time of 'emergency', they will take over all transportation, with the power to seize personal cars, the power to seize all farms and take over grocery stores. Even more disturbing, they can mobilize civilians into work brigrades! Slavery much? This was reported on the local news here in Saint Louis, KMOV, channel 4. I saw it with my own two eyes.

"FEMA" has shown many signs of corruption, time and time again. They have a hidden budget. These camps were reported in the San Francisco Chronicle as 'detention centers'. Halliburtion has been award a 385 million dollar contract to build them. You should not be surprised, seeing as though Dick Cheney is the former CEO of Halliburton.

I sleep with one eye open and a loaded gun next to my bed.

The lessons of history can't be ignored. Just be prepared..

So I just sent this to Dr. Paul

Dr. Paul,

Could you give me your thoughts concerning this bill? It seems quite startling to me. I am not from your district, however I have family that are. I am asking you about this instead of my own representatives as I believe that you are motivated by a betterment of all Americans. I truly feel that you are one of the last few patriots in our Congress and I would love to hear any insight you have on this bill.

I await his response

Awesome, what a great idea, I can't wait until his reply back to you about this bill and about these FEMA camps. What is his insight into them and does he think this bill could even pass in the house?

One thing about this bill, even if it does not pass......... The govt. now has CONFIRMED the "REAL" existence of these camps. They are not "tin foil hat" conspiracies anymore.... they have been legitamized by this bill being introduced.

If you tell a lie big enough and keep repeating it, people will eventually come to believe it. The lie can be maintained only for such time as the State can shield the people from the political, economic and/or military consequences of the lie. It thus becomes vitally important for the State to use all of its powers to repress dissent, for the truth is the mortal enemy of the lie, and thus by extension, the truth is the greatest enemy of the State." — Joseph Goebbels

A few off topic but no less important:

"The easiest way to gain control of a population is to carry out acts of terror. [The public] will clamor for such laws if their personal security is threatened". - Josef Stalin

"Terrorism is the best political weapon for nothing drives people harder than a fear of sudden death". - Adolph Hitler
