Livecam from Gaza

does anyone know how far / close to what we are seeing the camera men are? as it might sound and look close but be a good few miles away..

also... if their far, some of that explosions have been absolutely gynormous!...

okay, did anyone else see that missile being fired across to the left? maybe thats the anti aircraft weapons??

yep, somebodies, are having a bad night right now.
I thought earlier...maybe 8minutes ago I heard what sounded like a nearby mortar outgoing and thought I shouldn't be surprised to hear a big boom taking them out...haven't heard it yet. Can any of you tell the difference between outgoing and incoming...or I mean, have you heard any? My feed hasn't shown much at all but I of course hear the action. Big boom there. 407pm

Dude, I would be absoluetly shocked if there were any AA left in Gaza.

Forgive me if this has been answered, but does this mean the ground troups are in Gaza already? Is that ground fire?? Tanks?

I was gone for a bit, any more signs of the WP? And if the groundtroups go in after that, how do they themselves not suffer any ill effects from it????

and to finish off what I said before;
I did research and in the bible they talk about Gaza/Israeli war.It has been going on for over 2000 years, whats going on now just got sparked up again maybe four days ago. Ill agree that no one un-armed deserves to die, but at this rate, at the end of the war Gaza may be left at just a piece of history.

I don't know about you guys....but I only have...like, 8 spots of light on my feed....like I'm looking at a star constelation or something....I can't see anything else.

same here.. and the the booms and missiles going off in the distance... drone planes... nothing else.

I see a light in the distance, a building....alot of black...and hear missles/mortars and drones...

...as I sit here listening to people's lives ending with one eye and ear and watching the Eagles win with the other, drinking beer and being annoyed that my daughter wants me to put Dora on for the 100th time....it really makes you wonder just how &*&^% our world has become or how desensitised or what word am I looking for.....I feel like I'm that guy from the movie "Idiocracy" Why don't I go get a bag of chips and watch more from my detached chair as if I were on another planet or this is just some video game.

I am seeing the occasional missile (light anyway) streaking towards the left. Occasional red flash towards the border...

Anyone know if they actuallly have power, or are people using other things like kerosene (sp?) and candles? Could they be running this camera/computer off a generator?

They are in a town separate from Gaza city itself (I can't remember the name) according to the reporter/presenter/owner of the news network.

As for the Israeli withdrawal statement, perhaps it was a ploy to bring Hamas members out of hiding and intensify the operation as they said they would do in the leaflets? For those interested, the network's contact details and English website were posted a few pages back.

It looks to me that the feed quality has been lowered since day 1, possibly because of the high volume of people accessing the feed.

Anyone else agree?

I dont know if all of you have been in "night shootouts" and I also dont know if "stimulus" is the right word in english, but those heavy mashine guns bullets makes guit a flyes when they hit obstacles... Looks like missiles in screen very easily.

Well I have to agree that this certainly puts life in perspective and brings out the inner philosopher in us all.

This is the thought that keeps nagging: we are engaged, but removed. If this thing gets out of control, as in Biblical proportions as predicted by Revelations that one day it will, well then this will become much less theoretical...

If WW3 is an inevitability, then we are watching the fate that one day may befall us all.

I am really identifying with the horror they are living through, and very anxious about how this will grow or diminish....on that note, any more word on Lebanon and Syria's firing on Isreal????
