The only people that have been allowed to leave are those people with dual passports and they were bused to jordan. Gaza is about the size of the district of Columbia so nowhere exactly to hide either.
Its very sad..they are sitting targets.

The tactics of war being used by the Israelis are not new. You isolate your enemy, cut off all supply routes, eliminate the possibility of escape and annihilate that enemy. In the case for the Israelis this war plan is working well for them... in fact is is all too easy, their primary enemy in Gaza (Hamas) is hardly able to match the Israeli military in weaponry or fire power, so their only effective strategy is to make the Israelis pay for every attack in Gaza with civilian causalities in the hope that world opinion will turn against Israel and drive them back out of Gaza. Hamas rockets fired into Israel are meant to provoke the Israelis. They aren't accurate or a very effective weapon.. Apparently that with mortars, small artillery, automatic weapons and explosives are really all Hamas has.

It is the innocent people of Gaza who are trapped in the middle, and who are suffering most. And they are a part of the war strategy as much as they are victims of it.

I need to step away from this for awhile - spend some time appreciating my family and safety.

These are the stills from the Gaza news video that aired just a few minutes ago.

At what altitude do those drones we can hear fly at, cause Hamas should be trying to shoot them down.

I would think that it would be exactly what the drones would be looking for...gives them a target then.

Those drones are armed with missiles... Anyone who fires at it would likely be dead before the next blink of their eyes.

If they are indeed drones at all.

How can we know?

Has anyone seen one?

Any photos of drones flying over Gaza?

All I have "seen" in this feed are helicopters. I have heard jets and what people on here suggest are drones.

This is depressing, but in a way, Gaza deserves it, they are always asking for more when they get something.

like i said before. i think the drones are just psychological warfare.. the loud buzz is very annoying and i have never heard it quit..
maybe they are just using it in the same way we used rock an metal music as warfare in iraq and afghanistan.

knowing something is in the sky at every moment would just keep you scare not knowing what ciuld happen

In a way, its sad, but in other ways...economy wise... Gaza deserves it, when they receive something they always beg for more. I think the Israeli's got PO'ed this time and are going to try and kill them.

What the hell does that mean, economy wise gaza deserves it. How can any unarmed human being deserve this. Its a war crime plain and simple, just like Bushs war on terror.

Isreal is tired of taking rockets and suicide bombers, even after giving up Gaza by evicting their own people who settled their in the interest of peace. Now, and eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth will determine who is left standing after the smoke clears. Sadly, the innocent suffer, like always. For 5000 years they have been settling affairs in such a manner. Each administration for the last 40 years have tried to bring them together in the interest of peace and harmony. It's not going to happen that way, as we are now seeing.
