Did anyone else check out the same 'geologists' video on UFO/Roswell?

From watching that, I think his reliability should very much be questioned. He talks as if it definitely happened, and that the places he visits in the video are the places it happened.

If he were a true scientist, he should be prefacing all of this with "according to the lore" or "in the witness statements", etc. There is not enough proven info IMO to make such broad statements of fact as Mr Sanders makes, if he were responsible and scientific, he should be discussing this as interesting speculation, not as fact.

I was a bit tongue in cheek when I wrote that post but the cheesecloth idea is good.

I live on the Georgia, USA coast and hurricanes, tornadoes, forest fires, excessive electrical storms, huge all consuming tidal waves and disease from misquotes is a real threat here.

My sincere wish is that we are not going to see an eruption at Yellowstone.

Maybe, the event is over and it has relieved enough of the underlying pressure. Does anyone have any data as to whether the crust in Yellowstone is rising? I know a few years ago, there was concern because of the bulging of the ground in the Yellowstone area, just wanted to know if there is a link for that monitoring.

You can see that everything is Green across the whole study, sure there have been more recent higher level quakes, but it really is nothing out of the ordinary, I have spoken to several people about this warning, and believe me it has several people looking for a pound of flesh.Update from Jan 2

Recent Yellowstone earthquake data

I was asked why this report upset me so much, I have spent a lot of my life working with and amongst Geologists and Volcanologists, these people are amongst some of the smartest people in the World of Science, they spend their lives running around the World, doing their jobs, to make sure that any dangers are known, not just by Governments, but the general population, I have never even considered the possibility, that any Geologist would ever cover up the chance that their could be a major Disaster, and leave a single person in the firing line.

This warning suggests that there is a cover up, or a conspiracy to keep information from people (purpose unknown) this draws into light the integrity of decent people working hard for everyones benefit, where he gets off doing that I am at a loss to even attempt to explain.

Unless he comes forward with data nobody else has seen, using techniques nobody else has access too, then he himself must have an agenda, perhaps he is even being used as a scapegoat, for someone else's agenda, but anyone here who knows how this works and how these hard working people work, there is zero chance this man is the only one who knows something, so what he has said is his own personal theory.

Truthfully, unless Yellowstone does lose its lid, this guy is going to have a tough time working in his field in future, which IMO is sad, possibly the saddest thought I've had since I had to stop working in the field.

He is also on the verge of creating a situation that if or when this day does come (Yellowstone eruption) then he will kill more people than these warnings were intended to save, nobody will take the warnings seriously, and will stay.

I'm angry because I promise you, anyone in the danger area will get a warning that will probably save their lives, but now people will try and second guess any warnings with what ifs, anyone who had a thought of panic and worry over this warning, please don't drop your commitment to evacuation if the warnings do come for real, you can only treat this as a practice if you will to how you will feel when any warning does come, don't hesitate just please follow the advice, put this to the back of your mind.

Ill say it again as I did on page 5 of this thread, he had no right doing this, and the same is being said by several people directly involved, there is a lot of anger about this.

He really needs to explain his actions.

Keep an eye on the information officially provided.

Right... because it's their duty to keep us not only not completely informed, but to STOP providing information if they know anything, if we have a hint something is going on out of the ordinary.

It couldn't possibly be that the activity has just lulled. That wouldn't conform with the gloom and doom mentality of some of you, I know.

Also, I doubt the activity in other countries has a thing to do with any activity here. Why people think they are related baffles me. Earthquakes happen. Every day, somewhere in the world, stronger earthquakes happen. The world is a big place.

And finally, I don't think it's a calm before a storm. Typically the activity grows until the release of the pressure. If something was going to happen, the hints would be getting stronger, not going away.

Censorship is a lot more alarming than series of small quakes in Yellowstone, which is quite normal. Someone is trying to provoke people.

One of the teachings of Jesus is that He will come again. He very clearly teaches about signs of His coming:

An increase in false teachers and messiahs. False teaching is contrary to God's written word; we see this today not only in cults, but also inside and outside the church.

Wars and rumors of wars. The 20th century was the bloodiest and worst century in all history. What will the 21st century hold?

Increase in natural disasters. Earthquakes, tsunamis, hurricanes, famines and floods.

He says these occurrences are like birth pangs. With the onset of labor, birth pangs increase in frequency and intensity as birth approaches. This is very revealing in reflecting on the "signs" of which Jesus speaks.

Yet He clearly states, "No one knows the time." If someone sets a time, you can be sure he is a false prophet because no one knows the time. We need to be ready all the time. One thing is for sure, however, birth pangs keep increasing.

Repent the Kingdom of the Lord is at Hand. Are you ready?

I have no problem with the pedigree of the warning that I will get through my TFT 911 EAS receiver, and I trust that more than Sanders. If and when that EAS receiver goes off due to a warning over Yellowstone, every single radio station, weather station and tv station in Wyoming, and the surrounding states will also go off, including cable tv service EAS. That no doubt will be more offical, and more reliable, and more trusting than just 1 person with no other collaborating fellow geologists saying "evacuate" in a youtube video!

4.3 is not small at all.

perhaps the volcanoes are like pimples. Young babies often receive minor acne and it occurs again as teenagers. In both cases, rapid growth is common within each age group, due to certain growth hormones. Perhaps our planet is undergoing a similar period of growth. And the bad acne (volcanoes) is a result of us mistreating the planet.

This is what irritates me about this whole situation.

The USGS doesn't seem to be updating anything. Last night I saw on one of their Yellowstone sites a yellow code alert box. But another one of their sites has, since the beginning, said that everything was green.

But other sites, not related to the USGS, are putting Yellowstone on their active list and raising their alerts.

Just a question, as I don't think it has been covered yet. Where would everyone go? North and West, right?
I know that may seem obvious, but I would hate to think that when, and if, the alert came to evacuate that people would run the wrong way.

4.3 just hit in the north east corner of Nevada, its about 200 plus miles to the south west of Yellowstone!

Agreed.

I am not sure what is going on with the USGS but they are not consistent at all and seem to release data sporadically.

I would like to point out that it is not the MOD's job to classify people as 'officials' or likewise, and that a Government official is not the only type of official, and that I would have been more comfortable with the OFFICIAL title on the thread, because this is rather unsettling and I haven't seen this covered on any other source except a call-in bit I heard last night on 89.1 FM radio.

Here is something. I'm beginning to think that maybe the RSOE is off base here. www.nature.nps.gov... < that will take you to readouts of the current air quality in Yellowstone. Now, unless I'm mistaken, that appears to be pretty good. Carbon Monoxide levels are low, particulate matter low also.

I would think that if this were seriously about to go, you would have stuff leaking into the air already. I could be completely wrong, as I'm not a volcanologist, I just pretend to be one on the weekends.

Edit to add: I'm glad I don't live there. It is pretty cold outside!

But, for people saying that the quake activity has stopped, I found this... quake.utah.edu... This is an animation of earthquake data from the university of Utah. If you go there and start the animation, you can see several quakes around the 3 richter range in the last hour alone. Still centered in the lake.

I couldn't see anything on the animated map from Jan. 3rd onwards.
They are not updating the info on this site.
