Meant this response to my own post....I spelled it as 'tremblers' when it should have been spelled 'temblers'.

Regardless, a series of 'minor earthquakes' in the region is probably a good thing...it MIGHT indicate a relieving of pressures, in order to prevent a huge 'Blow-Up'....OR, it could also be a prelude TO the huge 'Blow-Up' that has been predicted---thing is, modern science isn't all that certain.

Since I was present during a major 'quake', the one in Los Angeles 1973, I feel I have a bit of understanding in the matter.

Where I was, there was not a lot of shaking, but there was a noise...most of the damage, that time, was in the Simi Valley.

But, the noise stays with me, in my memory, even though I was 20-25 miles away....it sounded, to me, as if bombs were falling at a distance.

Now, according to the Science Channel program I recently viewed, Yellowstone National Park, in Wyoming, happens to be atop a very large Magma 'bulge'...for wont of a better term.

A comparison would be the Magma that is breaking through and currently forming the Hawai'ian chain. Since this is happening underwater, it is NOT as devastating as a potentential Break Through in the Earth's Crust, in the Yellowstone area!

A crack in the tectonic plates, under the ocean, tends to be mitigated by the effects of the water, and the depth....a volcanic burst into the atmosphere, at the surface, however, will be devastating. AND, there is really nothing we Humans can do to prevent it.

IF the Super-Volcano a Yellowstone explodes catastrophicaly, the ash plume will be carried by the Upper Winds, Eastward....they will settle in the farmlands and the major cities East of Wyoming...and much of the ash will also be carried into the upper atmosphere, and will eventually affect the entire Globe.

This is a Global event, not ManMade, nor could Man prevent it.

You would hope. Perhaps they will offer a last minute warning. But we've had two terms of George Bush Jr., and Brownsville Texas wasn't a joke, he was seriously pursued as the main suspect in the brutal ritualistic slaying of the entire satanic cult he was a member of. If this volcano goes, a whole chain, including dormant ones, may go off, including in the ocean itself.

This has NOTHING TO DO with this thread! Listen if you want to have a clean , legit discussion here about yellowstone then either we remove every post and link about this so called "geologist" or we start a new thread about what is going on in yellowstone and call this thread a HOAX. Because people are suckered in thinking this man knows what he is talking about, at the same time he is laughing at the stupidity of some people on ATS. It is pretty hard to say if he is a hoax or not. Is he sensationalizing? Yes.

However, there IS serious activity going on in the area. hisz.rsoe.hu... < That site shows volcanic ACTIVITY in Yellowstone.

This IS a real threat.
