YSB seems to be useful for seeing the teliseims as a helicorder display.

I'll give the shadowzone a looking over so I know more about it

I see no trend at all other than a flat trend , with some statistical variablity/randomness .. same old same old since 1900s

hard to figure out what Ur talking about without a "reply to" on your message, but that's just me , i guess .... confusion could rampant with only a slight misunderstand of what post/person U are addressing , sorry ....

Did a teleseism just happen on Gee?
All stations I'm monitoring are reporting a long period wave of about the same intensity for each of them.

Watching it right now on the yellowstone stations on GEE. Big one.

Still rolling.

Edited to add: You should be able to see it now on the webicorders, right at the beginning of the 18:00 UTC line.

...and still going, 10 min later.

Probably yes.
What's interesting is that such big quakes can trigger other ones in distant locations. The whole Yellowstone area has surely got a shake, even if not very big.

Thanks for the link. That seems to be for Hawaii and "Pacific-wide" or mega-tsunami... I am talking about localized - like Russia or Japan or even Alaska... (I wonder if the Alaskans saw the quake?)

I suppose it is a "wait and see" type of thing anyway. As this all is.
