utah.edu is still up, so it is specifically with the seismic monitoring, I wonder whats going on.

Please do not use the phrase "thinking outside the box". Please. In the corporate world it has been overused and it means nothing. I hate it.

Every site I could find was noted with server not found
They might be reorganizing or up dating sites.

Checked this site and pan down to Y

I was thinking yesterday that I could see the signal of Old Faithful erupting ( or pre -eruption) I never got around to correlating the geyser eruption time with the "harmonic tremor", which is probably the correct term for the signal ... it was also on previous days but only unambiguous on YFT ... a little exercise for somebody with nothing better to do ....

It's back up now. It doesn't have anything from the last 45 minutes, though for YPP or YFT. I see something on YMP from about 2:10. YMP does have readings through 10 minutes ago.

It's happening now. It's been going on for a while. You can see it in smaller scale on YMP, YTP, YLA. They're running about 10-20 minute delay right now.

With out going into fear mongering, lets suppose they pulled the feeds so they could study in-depth, an event. Bringing in scientists all around the web electronically would eat bandwidth communications wise. Now add in all of us trying to sort out the implication and looking at the data at the same time.

While we're sort of 'in the loop' because we are armchair scientists, and we have an inkling, or an idea of what too look for, we are not the paid scientists. Its not so say we can't come up equally valid theories, its that we don't have a stack of sheepskins or experience to say 'listen to us.'

So we have to play it by ear and make our own decisions.
