This after the 7+ers in Ido over the past 12 hours
could be a sound from that

Sure seems like the earth is ringing like a bell today, for whom the bell tolls?

I just hope it doesn't crack!

Good am to you.
I think after this lull,(quiet between labor pains as someone said last night) we may be on a ramp up again.

Well, I'm still watching. Moved from DEFCON 3 to DEFCON 2 but am still paying attention.
From all that I've been seeing, it's not over anywhere just yet.
It's a wake-up for many. For those of us who are already awake, it's just a re-affirmation.
I've taken what I've learned and experienced in this little period of tension to better my preparedness. I just set up a "Shakecast Server" which automatically notifies me via text message and email of any events in a pre-defined area of my choice.
I set up a test area and it notified me of the Indonesia quakes in the middle of the night.

I also set up a 'Yellowstone' area. Now if we have a mag 3 or greater, it will text me.

You can download it here:

"My quick responce as an Engineer would be due to the differences at each location. Depth, soil or rock content, ect. "

I would imagine your quick response is probably spot on. Some of the sensors, I read somewhere, are actually buried up to 500' within the Earth itself. I would assume that you wouldn't need to turn the dial up as much, as it were, on those.

Now is good time to note that life sometimes imitates art, and in the spirit of cross world/ internet / hive mind consciousness expansion, lets all focus on creating an earthquake in Yellowstone from sheer mind power.. 3, 2, 1...

(Maybe I need a break) Peace and ta ta for now.

Ok, I just pulled the microvolt for all the charts listed on www.seis.utah.edu...

YPP 50
YTP 100
YLT 66.67
YFT 125
YLA 100
LKWY 500
YML 100
YMR 125
YDC 50
YUF 1428.57 No this is not a typo
YNR 166.67
YPK 166.67
YMP 66.67
YHB 83.33
YJC 83.33
YMC 100
YHH 83.33
YSB 83.33
YMV 100
MCID 100

Why are they different? My quick responce as an Engineer would be due to the differences at each location. Depth, soil or rock content, ect.
I know there was some links posted about the details of each somewhere in this thread, but I don't remember where.
I also ran across this page samples of readings
This shows that depending on which recorder you are looking at, the wind, a car, ect can make the waves.
I know most of us have learned a ton in the last week about all this. But, unless we know the key as to what is what on these, we will not have an acurate picture of what is real.

Unless...... the people that actually do this for a living know something we don't. Maybe making changes will help them detect better.

I'm not saying they wouldn't hide stuff from us but people on here turn every little thing into something bigger then it is. I'm surprised nobody has found a compressed video of one of the USGS people on youtube and said they are a reptile yet.

Sent to YS... that lens is driving me nuts!

------------------------------------------------------
As you can see from this thread...

www.abovetopsecret.com...

... currently with nearly 4000 replies, there are many, many people around the planet peering through your wonderful new webcam at Old Faithful.

However, PLEASE send someone down there with a cloth and a spot of Windex! We can't see, it's really grubby!

There is even an engineer on the thread with a tried and tested enclosure with automatic wash/wipe refilled from the rain and could run on a small PV array.

Cheers from the UK

We're seeing a nice eruption on the streaming web cam right now.

I'm not sure which geyser this is, but it's lovely. The extreme cold makes the steam so much more visible.

It appears that they've wiped off the window over the lens now, too.

Maybe they think the raining particulate and their ultimate depth as end result is what to worry about ultimately.
But you are right.
Immediate area quake damage- massive,
wiped out by immediate shock wave and gasses and displaced atmosphere,
buried by depth of ash...
..........

HOLY CRAP! Look at this map... hisz.rsoe.hu...

They are claiming no less than six eruptions right now. And another 5.0 quake in the south pacific.

I sure hope those volcanoes are always like this.

As someone below me added, there are always eruptions occuring. But these six eruptions I'm speaking of are ALL in Mexico. Overall, there is a bunch, but like was alluded to earlier, everything along the Pacific Rim is picking up, it seems.

Seems like the whole planet is going off at once. What are the odds for that to happen and more for us to live to see it? I hope that next to nothing. Following of this thread is quite addicting, yet scary in some point. Blessed are those who haven´t yet discovered this site.

Greyling,
There are about 20 erupting volcanoes worldwide at any given time.
Just do a google search on active volcanoes and you will see. Nothing abnormal there. Welcome to our Living Planet and ATS!

The volcanoes on this site do almost always look like this.
The 4 pointers in CA and Idaho though - not so common
The huge wave impacts in Japan - Indonesia - not so common either

But what I'm getting at is could a blast that big create like a 9.0 mag +/- that would create a much larger destructive radius, like it could destroy cities hundreds of miles away, cause active faults to become unstable as far away as Calif.? All I've come across thus far is that the immediate area surrounding the Caldera would be, obviously, destroyed, with the ash/debris cloud causing the majority of the destruction fanning out across the US.

I'm not saying it a conspiracy.
This morning TMR I am sure was set at 100 as witnessed by my eyes.
The next time I checked it, the settings were changed and the new setting was set at 125.
The density of the surrounding geographic makes sense if that is the case.
I am just asking what the reason would be to change he settings mid stream?
