Something is really going on here. A lot of people are having problems with colds, sinus's, and breathing problems. Besides the Chemtrails....weather seems to be a common link.

Ummm no its not

The ENSO, or El Nino Southern Oscillation, has shifted to a more neutral year meaning more temperature variations and greater snowfall and precipitation over the USA

During the El Niño portion of ENSO, increased precipitation falls along the Gulf coast and Southeast due to a stronger than normal, and more southerly, polar jet stream.[39] Snowfall is greater than average across the southern Rockies and Sierra Nevada mountain range, and is well-below normal across the Upper Midwest and Great Lakes states

The pacific regions are also affected as the jetstream moves north, as we have seen with Washingtons latest weather

Do any of you who are having breathing problems allowing some outside air to ventelate the stale air inside? It is well documented and proven that the indoor air is up to 70 perecent dirty compared to the air outside.

When you start to sneeze and queeze, go to a window and open it a bit and breathe in the ouside air and watch suddenly your breathing begin to clear.

Most of the complaints regarding sinus trouble are from individuals affected by allergens found in the air outside. In our area, for example, with dramatic weather fluctuations come a rapid increase in air allergens, exacerbating asthma and allergies among the local population. These allergen fluctuations have even become part of a daily (and highly camp) weather report. The same can be said for many areas experiencing sudden temperature fluctuations. The issue with complainants is usually not dirty indoor air but rather outside air that wreaks havoc upon sensitive individuals.

Down in the south is no better. I live in Alabama and the weather has been crazy too. One day it was down in the 30s then the next day it was almost 70 degrees outside. Something is not right.

Same in Georgia, within a few days it went from 18 to 40 to 60. Christmas Eve we had a thunder and lightning storm here. WHAT!?

We've got the jet stream going right through the center of the country.
there's a high (cold) pressure on the left, and a low (warm) pressure on the right. The moisture in the jet stream get cooled and turns to rain.

Exactly what I said

You can even tell where it is by using the recorded rainfall totals and the temperature readings. Its bringing in a lot of upper level moisture and Id expect some lingering contrails throughout the upper troposphere

Great maps

we have had a record amount of snow in a place that rarely gets snow causing many problems that this area is not prepared for

There is a lot going on here guys, it isn't just one thing that causes these shifts in weather. Going from some of the hottest temperatures on record (05-06) to below normal (07 into 08) can be a little confusing. But with some proper research, like my friend Muundoggie, you can see that El Nino is affecting our weather.

Also, many people fail to look at the sun as a major source of weather changes on earth, who knew it affected our weather!?!

Take a look at this site (www.spaceweather.com...) Take a look at the left sidebar and you will see the sunspot count. I'm sure many of you know that our sun cycles in 12 year increments. Many do not know that we go through a 50 year cycle as well. We are seeing the resurgence, or low of the 50 year cycle where there are very few sunspots on our sun.

This translates into decreased magnetic activity and solar energy output. Hey, know wonder its a little cooler this year. Sunspots have huge impacts on our weather and up through the majority of this decade we were in nearing the end of a turbulent sunspot cycle which saw a signicant rise in temperatures all over the earth.

Things can be easily explained or insight can be gained in huge amounts if you know the right places to look when it comes to large sources of energy or other phenomena that affect our weather patterns here on earth. Everybody should get to know not just the science about our planet, but the science of our sun, solar system, galaxy and universe. It helps to put things in better perspective sitting on this small piece of rock in the vast void of space.

I also just wanted to add that i do not discredit theories on global warming. I believe global warming caused by green house gas emissions is not the sole cause, but an accelerator to natural earth cycles. There are many factors involved in trying to understand why our planet goes through warm and cold periods in its 4.5 billion year history.

Anyone else's area having higher than normal allergy related problems?

I'm in northern california and i'm have a ton of sinus problems. I have never had sinus problems before the middle of this year. It sucks.

The same works for me as well. But that doesn't explain why people who don't have breathing problems are having problems with there sinus's.

It could be due to the slight weather differences they dont normally go through, plus any "bugs" that go around and get spread from person to person..you know the typical "jumping bug" thing..thats what my great grandmother used to call it..jumping bug.

Cheers!!!!

We are supposed to have 80F tomorrow and sunshine. I wore shorts and a tank top today and had the A/C on.

This is about normal for the Georgia coast. We've had several nights of freezing temperatures but that's normal here also.

We always say if you don't like the weather just wait and it will be different tomorrow.

I remember many Christmases during my childhood that it was in the 70's.
We had 2 inches of snow on March 1, 1989. The whole town shut down as nobody knew how to drive in the snow. It was very funny.

I have had pneumonia and my nose hasn't stopped running for 2 months.
That too is fairly normal here as we still have wild flowers blooming.

There are a few signs that we are in for some very cold winter yet to come. The squirrels and domestic animals have grown a thick winter coat and there are more acorns on the ground than I have seen in over 60 years. Also we usually have humming birds year round but I haven't seen one at my feeders for 2 months. That is not normal.

I live in GA also and am loving the weather, could be a little drier though. My only form of transportation is my motorcycle. To bad I will be moving to Kansas soon. I am going to the nearest Bass pro shop to pick up some nice cold weather gear for my commute once I get there.

These are basically the same winter weather patterns that occured when I was a kid in the 60's and early 70's.

I still have a certificate from the Edmonton Journal from circa '71 congratulating us carriers for haging in there when for 40 days straight the temp never once rose above 0F!

It was an afternoon daily in those days and once a week we would also have to go out at night and "collect" - no such thing as annual payments back then.

The area I delivered in was primarily Jewish, so I was was completely loaded up with chick soup by6 the time I finished collecting on Thursday nights. And let me tell you trying to get all "organized" with my skidoo suit to take a leak in the back alley at -40F was somewhat of an interesting experience.

im just glad its global warming and not global cooling!, although a while back i took an interest in this map of 1561 or is it 1516 where people mapped out the one of the polar caps ground which scientists all agreed because of its acuracy they must have actually seen it all the way, meaning at that time the earth went into a sabbath time as far as being frozen at the polar ice caps, and then I figured that maybe its a periodical thing that may have been happening all along every 5 or 6 hundred years or so, we blame ourselves for causing global warming but it may very well be "natural"! and if it is............ we will go through a mini ice age just like back then and we will have to live through that just like we did then. i also used to be interested in the scientific theory that the earth goes through a "periodic bounce around the galaxy and that it takes anywheres from 10,000 to 600,000 years to complete one cycle, and as it travels around in this "meta-travel" way it (our solar system and near by solar systems) are moving at an estimated 10,000 miles per hour!, i wonder if anyone else has heard of this?, i can remember finding and reading about it on the net.

We've been getting crazy weather patterns for the past 5-7 years here in Pennsylvania. E.g. for the past several years we were wearing short sleeves on Halloween, a holiday where we normally had to bundle up in 25 layers under our costumes - or would be buried in snow. Last December, we had a major heat wave during the entire month, so confusing that our flowers (the kind that the bulbs come up in the spring) were actually blooming - in December !!! (our temps in Dec avg 25 degrees F). This year, in the past month we've had 60 degree weather, a couple of days later 8 inches of snow, a couple of days later windchills below 10 degrees, more snow a few days ago, now we're expecting to hit 55 on Sunday. My grandmother swore that, "Everytime we send a spaceship up there, that's what messes up our weather." I don't know how accurate that is, but Mother Nature definitely has been bi-polar or something lately.

As President Obama vacations in Hawaii, the entire island of Oahu where his family has a home is in total Blackout, very very strange.

Not to worry, his generator kicked in and they have about the only light in Oahu as this is a very uncommon event.

And to think they call us the nut jobs the conspiracy theorists for shouting from the rooftops to be prepared!
